Google
This was a really cool spot we found walking around Glendale. My kids loved it and really were curious about learning about comic books. They had a reading nook that was a great spot for my kids to read. It’s a great way for them to start reading. The staff were really nice. I would come back.

Barry

Google
Legacy had some great new release books that are hard to find. The variant assortment is rich. They have tons of MAGIC cards and the guys were super friendly. This is a nice stop if you are in Glendale. I would say more Magic than Comic, but still worth the walk. Parking can be tough. The garage down the street is 6’ 5” clearance only.

Jonathan Morner

Google
They always have the variants I am looking for. They also have a healthy back log of issues of current and past runs which allows you to save time and money from shopping online. I decided that I wanted to read Absolute Wonder Woman that already had 7 issues out which normally meant I’d have to find multiple different comic book stores across the country to complete my collection. I was able to find a majority of the issues I was looking for in store and got to start reading them that day!

Google
Been going to this shop for a bit now to get both singles and sealed product for MTG. The staff is always helpful and generous with their time and knowledge when I have questions. Can’t wait to see what the new location is going to look like.

I went in with my son to buy comics and get cards graded and buy some more cards but the employees were extremely uncomfortable to deal with, everything I asked they responded with a condescending tone almost insulting. The guy with long hair was not helpful and kinda wanted me out of the store when there was only one other person there. If you want have a bad experience then go here .

Google
Wow just had one of those above and beyond services that I never even demanded or thought to experience in all my life casually supporting LCS all over the world and my current home state. There are times where for special occasions I will call the shop out of curiosity if they have any of the titles I'm hunting for available. This is simply to give me a priority purchase for when I stop by during days I have a day away from work. Otherwise I love (and prefer) randomly exploring what their stock offers and gotta give it to legacy comics which just happens to be the closest lcs that I live at, they do have valuable employees that go the extra effort in providing meaningful interactions with their patrons. Here's a much deserved cheers to the owner Howard Chen & the employee that happened to be helping me today (Alfredo). All I did was inquire if they happened to have the Descender Compendium in stock today and at first they did not, due to shipping issues (very common more often than not with distributors such as Diamond). Only a couple mins later, the asked for item did arrive and Alfredo rung me back and informed me that it just literally came in. Really appreciated that kind gesture cause that alone shows a strength in Small Businesses that can't be replicated in more corporate chain franchises or online only eCommerce businesses. Overall, the 2 interconnecting shops themselves houses on one side Western Media (Magic TCGs and western comics) while the other more Asian (Japanese products such as Yugioh and Mangas/Manhwas/Manhuas). The best part about Legacy I do got to praise is that despite still being on the smaller side of retail space had. They somehow succeed in having a great balance on nerd interests products from not just comics to cards and figures. However! I am thankful that Comics/Mangas are still the priority with a surprising amount of Indies/Seinens cause that is what I love exploring for in these Brick & Mortar Gems. ~Best Regards fellas from a Comic Loving yet still a healthy addiction enthusiast.

Google
This is hands down my favorite and the best shop for mtg, they have a friendly staff that’s easy to chat with especially Evan. I’ve been playing the game for about a year now and going here on Tuesdays for commander night is something everyone in LA should do.

Mark Lee

Google
Great store, just came to visit LA and the staff was super helpful. They quoted me a cheaper price for a sealed product and gave me a pack on the house when it came up pricier. Y'all are the best!

Yelp
I love that a card shop like this exists in Glendale. Customer service can be hit or miss sometimes, and the space feels a little small. But honestly a hidden gem.

Yelp
I've never been to a card shop that gave issues when trying to buy MTG cards. At first, I thought it was because I was a woman and with my boyfriend, but reading the reviews here, it apparently seems that they just don't want to make sells to Magic players. We went in on a slow day and asked for two cards. The employee said he didn't know how to pick them, and the "magic guy" would be there two hours later. My boyfriend offered to help point out which boxes on the wall the cards are in, and the employee said he doesn't know if the boxes are accurate. Uhh... then why are they labeled so specifically then if they're not accurate? Like, I'm sorry that you're too busy picking songs on Spotify and checking your phone literally 30min after opening that you can't take the time out to help make a sale, but come on. It also seems to be specific to the card part of the store as well. I've bought some anime standees before and didn't have issues, but apparently they just seem to hate doing any card related work. I love supporting my LGS/LCS but we're going to be supporting elsewhere from now on.

Yelp
This place buys at whole sale and sells at scalper prices. The service is bad as well.

Yelp
A well-stocked store filled with current as well as older reads, graphic novels and the like. They also sell other things of endearment such as trading cards, collectibles and such. I really liked the vibe of the workers, with the friendly and helpful demeanor and not a "we know more than you" attitude. Worth looking into!

Yelp
I ordered on their website during their Black Friday sale. Every item showed as in stock and I said I would go in and pick it up. The email confirming my order said by the next day my order should be ready pick up. Didn't receive a call. I called on Monday, they said to wait till that Friday since so many orders were placed and it may be the que to be filled. Friday came and nothing. Finally I called again and this time they said one of the items was not in stock. Not once did they say it was a preorder, not on the website, my receipt and the gentleman I spoke with didn't mention it either. Fast forward a month later, i patiently waited and still no email, phone or text giving me any updates. So I email Howard, the store owner, and ask for a full refund since it's been over a month and did not hear anything updates from Legacy comics. The response i get is him (Howard) informing that per the store policy there are no refunds on preordered items. Again, none of my items were listed as preordered. I let him know. I doubt I'll get my money back though. Figure I would post this to let people know. update: it's been OVER A YEAR and HOWARD has still ignored ALL my emails. So he's just stole $400 from me. You're an awful human being and I understand how you stay in business now. Thief.

Yelp
Rating a 1 star, DO NOT come here for anything DragonBallZ. Tried to come here to find more Fusion World stores to play at. This is the second time they have failed to update their bandai app on the tournament time. The first time, it was 30 minutes later. Ok, no big deal to me. Another player was not happy. Today, it's an hour later! No warning or update even on their IG. And both times, the response I've gotten from staff is "I don't control that." Then who does? This apparently has been a issue in the past. Considering you also have to pay for parking due to the area, it costs players more to play here. So for now, if you play DBZ Fusion World do not come to this store. *Updated* The GM was very caring of the situation. The issue has been resolved on the app, and they did right by me by waiving my entry fee. It's actually a great place for newer players to come experience tournament play.

Yelp
I was born in '83 and grew up loving comics and marvel cards. As I've gotten older I still love visiting the shops and seeing the cool new inventory. I decided to buy a graded old comic which happened to be the first appearance of Gambit in uncanny x-men. The staff there is amazing and very friendly and very knowledgeable. They are just chill sweet people and there isn't an air of snobbery you can get with most shops. Most importantly the owner Howard has given me top shape advice on which comics to buy or not to buy for collection and grading. I had never graded a comic and he walked me through the entire process. I love this shop so much and I really do hope you go check it out. Make sure to go weekdays after 4 and say hello to Howard. There are TONS of issues in the back not out on the floor.

Mike A.

Yelp
Recently came back in (6/24) and I would have to say customer service is complete trash. The employees were annoyed to pick a few magic the gathering cards.

Yelp
Great store! The place is full of all kinds of comics and cards. The person working there helped me find exactly what I was looking for: Wolverine comics. I really like the atmosphere and would like to visit again.

James S.

Yelp
Don't trust the kids in the card shop, when I first started getting back into Pokemon during covid I was a noob and didn't have much knowledge. I bought what they told me was a shadowless ninetales and today just found out that it is not shadowless. Shady kids who are always stuck up and have attitude. The comic part of the store is alright. Do not trust the Pokemon side of the store. Do your own research.

Yelp
The service here is absolute TRASH! I came here to buy a quick item. There were a total of three employees there, and NONE helped us. I understand you sell fun things, but you're at work-- you can socialize later. If you want customers, you should acknowledge them and service them when they're literally seeking assistance. Do better! Go to Burbank, they're much friendlier

Yelp
This is my local lgs for my trading card needs. Bruany is a man of the people and always gives the people the good boxes to open to get good pulls

Alphonso J T.

Yelp
Been coming to Legacy Comics since I was in high school, like 08 or 09, and it's always been a reliable source of comics and card games. The staff is great and always ready to help you with anything. Prices are always good as well.

Yelp
Excellent & Nerdy Comic Book Shop!!!!!! Friendly & Helpful Store Employees. My husband Ramon & I traveled from San Diego to explore Legacy Comics and Cards. We were totally impressed by the Awesome Comic Book selection, both new & back issues, the Toys, the Manga, the Funko Pops, Cards & so much more Nerdy memorabilia!!!! We left the shop with the $25.00 Mystery Comic Box. If you are ever in Glendale, totally stop on by to the shop!!!! Legacy Comics & Cards, you Rock! !!!! Thank you!!! We will definitely come by again!!!!!

Yelp
I am from Hawaii and have done an online purchase from this store and my experience was excellent. They immediately reached out to me about my order and clarified the shipping method I chose. Shipping stuff to Hawaii is very expensive for us when online shopping so I always pick the cheapest method. He also apologized because one of my orders just sold out but he gave me the option to wait for restock which I did because I really wanted the item. I have ordered comics online from other retailers and never had the same customer service experience I did with this business. Looking at their Yelp pictures I really have to check this place out in person if I ever visit the area. Thank you so much for handling my online purchase with care.

Yelp
Don't come here for magic the gathering cards. They refuse to pull singles, they have no way to browse their inventory, I've never had so many issues with a store I'm literally trying to give money too. They are very rude, most of the employees get very annoyed at anything involving magic, there are much better stores in the area. If you don't want to be a card shop, don't be a card shop...

Rob S.

Yelp
The staff here act like they're in that movie revenge of the nerds , like they have terrible customer service for starters, I tried to sell some cards and the guy barely even acknowledges what I have just looked up gave like a weird stare and just turned it down , and I know for a fact I had some good cards in my hand . Idk who manages you guys but you guys need a reality check asap

Yelp
Legacy is a great comic, manga, and trading card game store. They have 2 sides, one for manga/anime and one for traditional comics. They also sell/buy magic, pokemon, dragon ball and Yu gi oh cards. Darwin is one of the workers there and he's awesome! He's super nice and friendly and helpful if you need any help looking for anything. They also have local tournaments held here and tables if you wanna play other people that are there usually. They don't have the tables right now because of Covid but they're still open and you can order and pick up your comics/manga from them or they ship too!

Yelp
Fair warning. Bought an Charizard elite trainer box and every booster pack was resealed. Should of taken pics of the booster packs. Whitening on the cards with bent deck sleeves when opened. Update: Production sealed box shouldn't have booster packs tampered with with cuts on top.

Yelp
Great comic/card shop located by Glendale Mall. Have new releases and a good back stock. Create a free account with them for free bag and boards for your purchase

Brendan D.

Yelp
UPDATE: I loved this place so much i ended up working here and is by far the best place i've ever worked at. I moved out of state and STILL buy from Legacy, having no issues with shipping. Everything arrives FAST in perfect condition and carefully packaged. Theres no better place you can go to get what you're looking for. Huge props to Howard and everyone continuing to make Legacy the best comic/card store!!
google avatar

Yelp
They have the largest collection of comics I have ever seen so far!! And I have traveled to several over the years in both Norcal and Socal! They are the only ones to carry some rare dungeons and dragons comic collections too! These are a challenge to find these days. And Kacey who was a dnd enthusiast himself helped me find their stash of 5th edition releases and comics! Awesome. So I explained how I was holding out for a while from buying these comics online, and I'm glad I finally found them here because I love supporting local comic shops like this. The environment was great with lots of activity going on, events, tournaments, and customers of all ages.

Yelp
I've been going to this store for competitive and recreational play for multiple card games, and throughout the years the employees and the environment have been welcoming. To top it off, they've recently added a lot of new employees in the recent years and they've been helpful with everything. Shout outs to the Comic Book and MTG side for all their help and support for new players and new readers, and a bigger shout out to the Yugioh and Manga side for the consistent locals great prizing and participation prizing to show their appreciation to the people who come and play. Keep up the amazing work everyone!

Yelp
Hey what's up yelpers? Hope my review finds you well. The following review of Legacy Comics & Cards is broken up into different categories: product, environment, service, price and overall thoughts. Product: Legacy Comics & Cards have tons on top of tons of product: comics, mangas, funko pops, Pokémon cards, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, magic cards etc. Almost everything a nerd needs in life. (5 stars) Environment: Legacy is located in the heart of Glendale a little off the main strip. The area is clean and safe. Parking can be found on the street but you got to pay the meter unless you find some back street. The actual size of the location is a good size however they are out growing the place with the product they receive. They have two entrances: one directed more towards comics, figurines, magic cards, and funko pops and the other side showcasing Pokémon cards, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, manga, and more (4 stars) Service: They definitely are following Covid-19 guidelines. The Pokémon card side only allowed 2 people in at a time which can get daunting because who knows how long those guest will take. Steve was really informative and friendly. He guided us with the type of packs to buy for pokemon cards, and answered almost all our questions. ( 4 stars) Price: Now because this is a comic and cards store expect to see really expensive collectibles. I believe the prices here to be fair. Most product is above retail or resell value but makes sense since they have tons of expenses. There are items in the store that are definitely affordable or a steal but you have to be knowledgeable about the product. Value for products can change daily. (4 stars) Overall Thoughts: I felt like a kid in a candy store. Or a grown man in a comic book store. They have amazing items and constantly get new things daily. When I came in they got a whole truck load of shipment. (a whole fedex truck no joke) As well as you will always see people selling their cards. Can't wait to see what they got tomorrow. Thank you Legacy for amazing products and awesome service (Steve). Thank you yelpers for reading, until next time. Peace and Love!

Yelp
I don't care what anyone says this is a really cool comic shop I enjoy buying comics here it's not a bad place at all yea they flip they're comics but sometimes you can find some nice finds

Jonathan S.

Yelp
Knowledgeable and friendly staff! Amazing selection of Silver age comics. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Yelp
This earns it's 4th * Star in part, based on the owner's strategic retail location, being next to Portos as well as an area with available parking. The store is staffed with friendly and welcoming employees. They have a good selection of back issues and current new releases for comic books, as well as graphic novels / trade paperbacks / collected editions. Overall, an above average LCS, local comic book store and one of the better ones in the Los Angeles So Cal area.

Yelp
I Realley love this store, great and cheap cards and Realley good service I've been going each week for 3 months.t's just 1 thing, some employees are not that experienced and I'll just ask for price and some employees will just say "Realley expensive"

Timmy W.

Yelp
Sold my comic collection today to Howard @ Legacy. Thanks for buying the collection Howard! Hope they serve you well, Timothy

Yelp
I went today and took my 2 nephews here . First of all the guys working in the store were great, greeted us as soon as we came in and made us feel very welcome . I had a lot of questions and they answer all of them . I made a big mistake getting 2 Sonic the Hedgehog comics with different covers and the person who charge me notice this and let me know and show me that some comics have different covers but are the same titles , he could of just let me buy them and go on with his day . But instead took his time to show me how to pick out the comics and show me that each comic has a number on the top left corner. Very honest people that work here I will definitely be back to this shop.

Yelp
I was looking for a new TCG shop to get MTG packs and singles from. My buddy suggested this place he has been going to for some time. Unfortunately I didn't have the same experience as him. When I came in I was not greeted. The floor over where the MTG singles cabinets were covered with boxes. I mean boxes were all over the place. I had to walk around them to get to where I wanted and not a single mention of "sorry about the mess, we are a little overwhelmed with product at the moment, but if you need anything moved to check out stuff please let us know". None of that, on the contrary I felt like I was bugging them by still trying to look at the singles in the cabinet. I was made to feel like I was bugging them. One guy finally started helping me but I swear he didn't know a thing about the system they had there that one of the blonde guys with longer hair had to help(and he didn't seem happy about it). Look I understand from over 16years in the work force that people have bad days, but damn I went in like 15min after opening with me being the only customer, why am I not getting good service? It's unfortunate because I like that they have such a good selection(or what I could sense since I didn't get that much help) of singles. I would be willing to give them another try but there are already other shops I would rather spend my money at then deal with a messy store and bad customer service. Despite some decent reviews there is a reason this place is 3 1/2 stars I guess. Seems like I'm also not the only person dealing with customer service issues, I would suggest the owner has a meeting with his staff about how to treat a customer.

Scott T.

Yelp
Please read my edit - as these issues have since been resolved! I don't go on yelp often to give reviews but I have to at this point due to the lack of communication from Legacy Comics. I placed an order with them online for DBS trading cards, at the time of my order, I was notified that 7 are available and 5 are available via backorder. Ok, not a big deal - I can wait... Howard reaches out to me regarding my shipping address because an apartment number was missing. USPS has marked my private house as an apartment, which I understand is not his fault, so I told him to use 3F. I responded to his email within 10 minutes btw... Ok, cool so everything's all ironed out? Nope, I get another email the next day, asking me to reconfirm my shipping address again, plus that my original order of 12, only 5 is available. So how did you go from 7 to 5 within a day of my order? He offered to refund me the remaining boxes and ship out what is available, or to cancel the entire order altogether. I replied to that - stating I provided my apartment number. I also asked if the back order availability was no longer an option. This was on Sunday... today is Wednesday and I still have not received any response from them. So I took it upon myself to reach them via their website under their contacts page, I noticed there was another email there, I sent them an email and background, I get a kickback that this email is no longer active. Wow - I think it would help to remove/update that then! But let me ask this, how does my order of 7 go to 5, the next day? I placed the order after store hours so are you telling me my order was not acknowledged and you two boxes were sold in person? Secondly, my credit card was charged immediately and funds were already sent despite your two emails to me regarding my shipping address. The order was not placed on hold... you took my money and did not respond. I also decided to reach out to them via Facebook Messenger, again explaining the situation. I have not received any response from them yet, and will update this post once I do, but I have alerted them I will issue a chargeback with my credit card company if I do not hear from them within 48 hours. I think it is ridiculous that the CUSTOMER has to go through such great lengths to get in contact with the store. Additionally for my order to be not acknowledged and sell product that already was paid for to someone else. Then proceeded to take MY money and not respond. Edit: So I got in contact with Howard, he explained to me the situation and deeply apologized for the communication issues via email. He also explained that his stock is not synced with his online store, which is why there was a discrepancy in the stock. He thoroughly went through every issue and has rectified it. I am glad we came to a resolution so quick, I wished this went more smoothly but I cannot blame him for not being able to receive any responses. For the ability to quickly resolve the issues, I give them a 4/5... Hope to do more future business with you Thanks again Howard!

Yelp
I like coming here. They have a nice selection of almost everything. Good selection of comics and other action figures like Marvel Legends and DC collectibles. BUT the Hot Toys! I always love finding a store that carries these amazing 1/6 scale figures. I've bought multiple from them and they are priced fairly. Almost what I'd pay if I were to order on Sideshow. Plus what's great is that they do have a selection, it's not just two or three, but many. They also have Funko Pops for any Funko Pop fanatics. As for any card players/collectors they do have Yugioh and I think they also had Magic or Vanguard? Don't quote me on that, I think I saw them, but they also have sports cards to purchase as well. Like I said they have a bit of everything. It's definitely one of my favorite stores to visit and I haven't had a problem with any of the staff.

Yelp
As a 6'2 320lbs Black Male in America, I have always had to deal with the uncertain, cautious, profiling looks/actions that many people, and in this case, employees give while in public. It will always be an underlying pain knowing someone genuinely hates and/or fears me for the color of my skin and how I appear. A friend and I recently visited the Legacy store in Glendale in hopes of trading and purchasing TCG cards (yu-gi-oh, NFL, and Pokémon). Upon arrival, we noticed a barricade in front of the entrance, urging people to be patient as there was a 2 limit customer capacity per room, which is understandable (COVID). *comic room, and TCG room*. Me and my friend, also a black male, patiently waited outside for around 10 minutes. After waiting, I noticed no one was in the comic area, so I asked if we could glance at comics while waiting to enter the TCG room. The employee at the register HESITANTLY gave us access in a very passive aggressive way. While browsing through comics, I couldn't help but feel the eerie presence of being overly watched. As I walked around, the floor employee made it an effort to show he did not want to come near me. Not 6 feet, but one of those "ewww", stay away vibes." I know customers who looked like Him didn't get the same treatment. I've read and compared reviews from all open card shops during covid and this one had the best reviews, and that's why I came. Unfortunately, I got a different experience. I asked questions about NFL cards, and all they did was show me what they had, which was a couple boxes. I came seeking knowledge and always got a dismissive tone and the vibe that I shouldn't even be talking to them. My experience, however, changed when I finally was granted access to the TCG portion of the store. The employee there was extremely patient, shared knowledge, took time to research some of our products, and I even bought quite a few packs from him. My experience in the TCG Part of the store is the only reason Legacy in Glendale gets 2 stars from me. The saddest part is even the employee in the TCG section was almost hesitant to ask the 2 in the front any questions regarding me and my friend. Wont be visiting ever again. I'm extremely tired of racism, especially racist employees. *1/12/21 anywhere from 2pm-6pm

Yelp
Prices are what you expect from a local comic book/card shop. Customer service was non existent, owner of this place should learn what it means to value a customer. any niche shop that is the only one around the area would last a long time, if legacy had other competitors in the area i think it would be a great asset to the community.it would actually make this place truly care about their community and customers rather than be content with what they are doing now, which is essentially treating their customers poorly. ill take my business elsewhere, somewhere where they actually treat you with respect and kindness and not look at you and treat you like a cow to milk money from. will not be coming back.

Yelp
Pretty decent comic shop from what I've experienced so far. I was hoping to complete Ultimate X-Men here after buying the Ultimate Collection Vol 2 but all they have is the smaller volume with just 1 arc instead. Good place to pick up ongoing issues as well and easy to figure where everything is once you walk around for a minute or so.
google avatar

Christian C.

Yelp
Great selection of comics (single issues, hardcovers, trades) and some pretty good deals on their sales rack. Customer service, however, is severely lacking. You aren't greeted when you walk in and aren't ever acknowledged by the guys up front. The workers in the trading card section are actually very helpful though.

Yelp
Solid spot for getting what you need, extensive inventory. I have been a frequent customer at this location for many years, overall its a good spot and a good experience to check out what they have.

Yelp
It's a great place to collect cards. They do fair prices. Once, they told me chilling reign pokemon was 80 bucks. I bought it somewhere else for 150. Overall, its great.

Yelp
Nice friendly staff and a good store selection of comic books. Staff is helpful with questions and takes time to educate. They have a good selection of older comic books from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. If they don't have it on display just email to ask they probably have it in the back or stored away. Prices are fair here

Yelp
Went to try and fill a couple Magic sets today, but the staff was busily being rude to another customer and while I waited. The customer was concerned that a couple of his weekly ordered books had come in damaged and was looking for resolution. The employee (direct quote), "I just work here man, you need to take that shit up with Howard.... He's the owner." The guy was kinda dumbfounded with that answer, I asked if there were boxes available for specific sets and the employee dismissively told me most likely not, what he has is under the glass. I then asked for a price check. He pulls out his phone, gets the latest internet price and quotes that. It's no wonder LGS's are going out of business. I could have gotten that from an ebay store or an online merchant. It used to be that game LGS's worked with their customers and didnt just quote book price guide prices. Prolly doesnt matter that I'm posting this, but highly doubt I'd support this LGS as there are other options with friendlier and more knowledgeable staff.

Yelp
You can find me at Legacy every Wednesday at 10am on the dot. It's a fantastic shop. They carry everything I'm into from comics to Sideshow Collectibles to Funkos to tabletop gaming cards and books. And their rewards program is the best I've ever seen. (Seriously, get a rewards card and after a few purchases, you're getting free comics and discounts, it's awesome!) The staff is friendly and knowledgable, and you always feel welcome in the shop. Definitely my favorite shop in SoCal!

Yelp
Walked in today for a few new pickups and to see what the shops had to offer and holy cow. A nice large selection of the big two and tons of indies to choose from, fair priced variants and CGC slabs, not to mention tons of trades and toys. Staff was super kind and helpful even through the opening rush. Can't wait to come back and take some more inventory off your hands!

Yelp
First off, I want to say, the workers there are very friendly and your average comic book enthusiasts. Love the variety of novels, collectible figurines and many many more here... however... next door is there TCG store...or should I say "RESELL/Scalper" store... and it pains me to say it but I understand the struggles businesses are going... but it doesn't excuse you to buy into the Pokémon or yugioh hype and sell at resell max price... I know you have direct vendors/distributors to purchase in advance in whole sale.. but man... felt like the prices are too high for even some yugioh booster boxes.. take my word of advice, you're better off finding a vendor and purchase them personally with them.

Yelp
I've been going to Legacy comics on and off for 12 years here are my thoughts. If you know what single issue comics you like then Legacy is a safe bet for your weekly pickups. If you are into buying trades your better off buying online on sites like Instocktrades where all trades are up to 45% off for new and old releases. The staff are competent but unenthusiastic and famously either dismissive, rude or both. If you want a comic shop with lots of signings or community events with much nicer and passionate staff I'd recommend Earth-2 Comics or Golden Apple Comics.
