Legacy Hotel.

Stayed here for 5 nights in October. Within walking distance of the Damascus Gate into the old city of Jerusalem. Great food and service. We were staying here when war broke out on 7th October and the staff were wonderful liasing with our travel company to get us out and over the border into Jordan on the following morning.

Very nice hotel, clean with large rooms. The free breakfast is very good. Great cappuccinos! Has the usual twin beds which should be updated to queen or king size beds. Close to the Old City, about a block and a half away. Light rail is about 100 feet away.

Service was absolutely top. Complimentary water at the start of the visit together with fruit. The staff members were fantastic with helping transport our luggage to our rooms and with helping us settle in. The receptionist was really friendly. The rooms were very cosy, spacious and comfortable. Room service was really good too. They cleaned very well everyday. It wasn't super busy so the lifts were always free. The restaurant area was smart with lots of food options. Although staff didn't like us turning up at 9.30am (breakfast finishes at 10am) and let us know this through their rude manner. Overall, it was a beautiful experience. My only gripe is that there is no ramp to access the hotel, just a set of stairs which meant we had to carry all 28 pieces of luggage up and then down the steps when we checked in and out. The hotel really needs to make a ramp. Besides that, no complaints. We loved it.

Just writing this review so patrons of this hotel can be aware, my watch was stolen from this hotel room. I contacted management and staff and they said they did an investigation with no outcome. They also stopped responding to me. Also the safe never worked in the closet and I had asked staff twice to fix it, but nobody did. So I was never able to place my watch in the safe. I’m very upset as it was a very sentimental piece of jewelry from me. Please be aware before booking this hotel.

Nice property. Well located within 8 min walk to the old city and a minute walk from the tram. Very spacious room with a view of the mount of olives. Excellent breakfast in the top floor with views of the whole town. Great value as well.

Just writing to let potential guests know to be extra careful with their valuables. The safe in my room was not working and asked twice to get it fixed to no avail. I kept my watch in my room, stupidly, and it was stolen. After talking to management they said they would do an investigation but nothing came out of it and manage my stopped responding to me. You have employees that are thieves in this hotel. Be aware.

We had dinner here. They have a great selection of drinks and good food. The patio is lovely to spend an evening on. We were able to stay as long as we wanted. The staff was very friendly, and helpful.
