Came here after we went to our first choice which was a zoo, so then decided to check out Peyto cafe but they didn’t have take out (we wanted to grab a bite and keep traveling) so finally we came to Legends and choose to dine in. We weren’t disappointed. The service was excellent, the food came right away and it was delicious! We were on our way in 40 mins. Highly recommend! We had the prime burger and clubhouse. Recommend both. The burger was excellent!

This place was very warm coming from outside. There was no wait at all which was surprising. The staff were very kind and helpful about choosing your order. The food itself was okay, not that big of portions and pretty high prices.

Had a wonderful meal at the Legends. The steak I ordered was a little overcooked for medium rare. The waiter (tall handsome man) apologised profusely, and changed the steak for the right medium rare. The steak turned out delicious. The service was excellent though food was a little pricey.

We had such a wonderful and unforgettable experience today at the Legends Restaurant inside Lake Louise. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine smiles. A heartfelt thank you to Marites, Brian, and Sammie for their exceptional service — they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Their kindness, attentiveness, and cheerful energy truly made our morning special. The company is incredibly lucky to have such amazing people on their team — they absolutely deserve a raise and recognition! The breakfast buffet was a delight. My sister and I had so much fun making our own waffles — a sweet little moment we’ll treasure. The hot chocolate was like a warm hug in a cup, the smoothie was fresh and energizing, and the full English breakfast was simply divine. We left with full hearts and happy bellies — and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Brayan was such a kind and helpful person. He has a deep knowledge of the area. He provided maps, made recommendations based on weather and conditions, and gave tips on the best views. This was above and beyond for our breakfast here, which was also stellar. The food was delicious and great quality. The restaurant looks recently updated. I love the live moss wall that depicts the three sisters mountains. So happy we decided to sit for breakfast.

Located in the Inn, this restaurant is widely known and welcomed. Excellent petit déjeuner and warm service. Thanks.

Google
Good atmosphere. Decent foods—too pricey for the quality plus the wait time was soooooo long. We waited 40 minutes to get in when the restaurant didn’t look busy. After we sat, it took 10 minutes to get water and another 10 minutes to place our order then 45 minutes for them to bring the foods. At that point, everything is good to eat. What I like the most is probably their watermelon salad.

The menu and meals looked delicious but they really lacked flavor.. plating was so pretty, but it just wasn't remotely worth the cost for lack of seasoning. My margarita was good though. I can say the staff is extremely friendly and the place is nice.

Yelp
We ate lunch here between shuttle rides to the lakes. We split a chicken club sandwich and fries. Sandwich was good and fries were crispy. What I liked best about the restaurant was the way the server was accommodating as we only had about 45 minutes to eat. He had our food out to us quickly. I also really liked the seating. The patio was lovely with tables and umbrellas. Views were nice. It was a perfect quick lunch between lake visits.

Yelp
Had the worst risotto of my life here, yikes. Ambience was peaceful and somewhat sophisticated given it's a hotel restaurant. Service could be better. We got here just before 5pm, which is when they transition from the lunch to dinner menu. However, they refused to show us the dinner menu until after 5, so we waited around nearby. Chicken supreme was ok - chicken a little dry, and the basil leaves were too bitter. The short rib was the best thing we ordered and quite tender, but a little heavily salted. And the salmon - it was cooked well but lacked any flavor. The "lobster risotto" it came with was disgusting - no lobster in sight, and the risotto tasted like straight milk. Our server was polite but forgot about us at the end after taking our plates away. I'm pretty unhappy with this experience given how much everything cost ($35 USD per person pre-tip). Do not recommend.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to eat lunch and were desperate for food before heading to Jasper National Park from Banff. We set our bar very low for this place because we weren't expecting great food in a location with high tourist traffic. But we walked into the hotel and this restaurant was located immediately to the right of the entrance. The interior was so beautiful. A contemporary design with cute bud vases and plants everywhere! The servers were so nice and took care of our drinks right away. We ordered the pesto wrap and Cesar saladbwith chciken. Loved both our dishes and the quality/portion of everything! The chef did an awesome job with the chicken! It was not dry! Would totally recommend making a stop here for lunch.

Yelp
Breakfast...go for the big buffet as price is only a couple of dollars more than individually priced items Or, I got the everything bagel and it was plated beautifully with extras! Service was exceptional, coffee and Baileys Very reasonable and some of the best we've ever had. Very comfortable place to dine. My husband said everything on the buffet was seasoned nicely. I'm so glad we found this place, thank you staff!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing dinner! We got the Elk Burger and the Bison Chuck Roast and OH MY GOD! Seriously incredible flavor, the bison chuck roast fell apart on my fork in the BEST way! Got some tasty cocktails and the service was lovely! I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lake Louise! Try and snag a spot on the patio if you can!

Yelp
Located in Lake Louise inn, we stopped by before heading to Peyto after Johnston Canyon. Not sure why the reviews are so low because we were satisfied with our food. The spinach salad with chicken was a light yet tasty lunch, and my family enjoyed their chicken burger, fish & chips and Caesar salad. Quite expensive for the portion sizes...but if this is your only option for food, recommend.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and got two Wapati burgers - both tasted great! The side of cranberry salad was also A+. Our server was super nice and attentive. Only reason for 4 stars it was a bit overpriced for what it was and the place needs a slight renovation.

Yelp
Its dirty, run down and cluttered and has seen better days. The concept of this place is great but the owners have not kept it up. Lasgna was dry with no sauce just noodles. The fish burger patti was half the size of the bun. Average price is $20 an item. Its a sad place.

Yelp
the service was very poor, food wasn't very good at all, very overpriced for what you get!!! will never go again Plus the look was poor the seats had duck tape on them the bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in Needs to be on the show called restaurant makeover !!!!!!

Freddie R.

Yelp
Despite them having 6 empty tables it took 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us after we were seated and 45 minutes later we were told it would take another 10 minutes for our order to come out. At that point there is no way that the food would taste any good.

Yelp
Fresh and fast service with smiles in the early morning. Wonderful breakfast choices and the triple berry smoothies are to die for . Energy up to do more hiking!

Yelp
I'd give it an outstanding 4.3 stars. The major strengths here are the portion sizes to cost ratio and the balanced, vivid flavors. Every item here slaps so hard, and honestly, if I came to Bamff again, I would come here at least once. The only downside is a small staff, so if it were busy, wait times for food and service would be higher, but since I went when it was empty, it was very fast. The ambiance is great and sets the tone for a fun family time or a nice meet-up for friends. For a vacation, the ambiance is perfectly set. Outstanding restaurant!

Yelp
When you first walk in you feel like you're in a throwback in generations to the 50s or 60s it's a pretty cool vibe to be honest. You get a kind a feeling that you're going to be served well and have a good really good plate of food. I found the service to be a little bit crusty. If I'm being honest, I did not feel very much like I was welcomed. It was more like what you would expect if you went over to your great aunts for a snack as a kid, Sit here and wait. I ordered the traditional breakfast because that's generally what I do with a place like this and I must say that eggs and toast was fine but the home fries are essentially just potatoes that have been thrown on a pan for 30 seconds. I mean they actually taste like potatoes that are not even cooked and are just warmed up a little bit.

Yelp
There was only few staff on the duty and the waiting time was toooooo long even there are not many people. We waited more than 1 hour before getting our food ready. It's totally incapable to serve enough customers with fair quality. It's a big disappointment to choose this restaurant.

Yelp
I ordered the watermelon spinach salad with shrimp, garlic bread, fries and monte cristo. Everything was good except for the monte cristo. Solid food and good service! Oh and the mushroom soup was yum!

Yelp
Legends Restaurant is located at the Lake Louis Inn. We went there for dinner and it wasn't busy at all. There were five people working the front/ dining area. They have tables on their patio but we decided to sit inside. We ordered two waters, a Pilsner, blackened cod, and elk burger. We asked if the Pilsner is local and our waiter said yes. We asked where and she blurted out, S-S-Saskatchewan! It didn't sound very convincing but at least the Pilsner tasted good. The cod was overcooked and dry. Very disappointing since that's the supposed to be the star of the dish. That said, everything else on the plate was good. The elk burger was only okay. The wait staff just stood around chatting with each other or zoned out at the wait station. My water glass was not filled and it was on the edge of the table waiting to be filled. Towards the very end of our meal, our waitress walked by, looked at our table, saw that we were still eating and walked away and never came back with water. Also, check your bill because the prices we were changed were higher than what was stated in the menu!

Yelp
The food is high quality and delicious. The food took a while to come out despite the restaurant was not full. But that didn't bother us.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Great live music. Highly recommend. I had the bison short ribs and they just melted in my mouth. My wife had the salmon and she loved it.

Yelp
Perhaps as welcoming a staff as ever accounted. The food was a cut above standard burgers & salads. The restaurant decor draws on the natural wonders of the surrounding geography. The restaurant made me wish we were staying in the hotel!

Yelp
Quality food. Good soup, burger, and salad. I really had a great meal. Service was as good as expected.

Yelp
Very surprised by how good this restaurant was! We got the butter chicken, salad, steak sandwich, and chocolate cake, all of which were really good especially after a long day of hiking! Our waiter (also manager of the place) Rusty was great and super friendly as well.

Yelp
Great food and many options for breakfast. The banana bread French toast was excellent- not too sweet but filling. Also had the buffet on Saturday. Top notch- great variety and value.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed in Lake Louise Inn for three nights last month. The dinner we had at the Legends Restaurant was the worst dinner we have had in a very long time. We ordered the Spring Mix Salad, Blackened Fresh Cod Fillet, and Alberta Bison Short Ribs. Our table was not cleaned before we took our seats. Our waitress sprayed the table cleaner next to the two glasses of water served which made us feel very uncomfortable. The two main courses came well before the salad. The cod was overcooked and dry. The ribs were tasteless. The salad was served without dressing. It took us a long time to find our waitress even though the dinner room was half empty. This review was written for the dinner only. The full breakfast buffet at the restaurant was good.

Darcy H.

Yelp
For a destination area that gets international visitors the menu was not up to snuff. No kosher, halal, allergy aware, vegetarian or vegan options. Then the vegetables that came with our meal were all cooked to mush. I also believe that a good restaurant offers local items, and with all the great brewpubs in Banff, Canmore and Calgary the most local beer on the menu was from the west coast. I feel like I went back to the late 80s here. The service was good though.

Yelp
I went into Legends Restaurant on the Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday after spending the day sightseeing Lake Louise. As I approached the restaurant I asked the Hostess or server Nicole what the soup of the day and she new right away it was a Squash soup. I then asked her if it was sweet or savory as some squash soups can be on the sweet side. She pleasantly said "Let me check with the chef. I thought that was very thoughtful considering how busy they were. Then when I was seated the sweet waitress named Gauri mentioned the kitchen was closing in three minutes and I had no idea, but she was so patient, kind and smiling. She reassured me it is no problem go ahead and order. Many places would have said no the kitchens closed or would be frustrated or annoyed. All the other employees seemed to be busy helping customers with a smile on their face. I was very impressed. I spoke with Jordon the managers to let him know how valuable his two employees Nicole and Gauguin were and how special they made me feel with their kindness. Jordon was very professional, kind and attentive. I always appreciate. Again they were all so pleasant under stressful busy time. I was very impressed. Now with the food I was concerned by the previous reviews , but I ordered the Donnair and poutine and both were spot with delicious flavor and nice presentation. So please give legends a try you won't be disappointed! Legends is located inside the Lake Louise Inn

Yelp
We stayed at Lake Louise Inn and went there for dinner. Couple of us ordered risotto and it was not fully cook. With this price and service, will not visit again.
