LEGOLAND® New York Resort

My husband and I had such a great time at Legoland with my son and his best friend! The park is huge but not overwhelming. We arrived at 2:30 p.m. and were able to experience everything we were interested in before closing. October is an ideal time to visit. They have trick-or-treating booths set up for the kids, and the lines weren't super long. We got on many rides with minimal wait times and found the seating comfortable for adults too. Our favorite experiences were the roller coaster, Miniland, Anchors Away, Build A Boat, Splash Battle, and Rogue Riders. The kids had zero complaints, though I think they wished the Driving School was a bit longer. We enjoyed snacks throughout the park, including the apple fries. Prices are what you'd expect from a theme park. Due to limited time, we ended up having dinner at a restaurant nearby. It was a nice perk to get free parking with the four tickets we purchased online. We'll definitely be back!

Visited the park to enjoy the holiday festivities. Sadly, the day was not nice weatherwise and the park did end up closing early but we were finishing up anyway and it was a day filled with fun. Great photo ops, fun rides for the little ones. Ice skating today. Photos with Brick Santa and a gift scavenger hunt through Mini Land! A fun festive holiday play day.

Came to Legoland for the first time this September. We stayed at the resort in one of the premium Pirate themed rooms. Our 8-10 year old son loved the room and everything about the park. The crowds for late September were prefect and we did not wait for more than 15 minutes for any rides. The 4d movie was very cool. This is by far the cleanest theme park I have ever been to and there was staff everywhere. We did the tour of the LEGO mini-cities after the park closed. This was very cool and well worth the money seeing all the creativity that the LEGO masters put into the details. Our son also did a small LEGO build with a LEGO master before we left. The resort is right off the highway and the local town and gas stations and other little shops are very nice. The service would be 5 stars but the Brick restaurant at the Resort had very slow service from both waiters/waitresses and slow food prep. Overall, Legoland with staying 2 nights at the resort was a great time and great value for the money!

On a bright sunny 85F warm Sunday of October, we decided to visit the Legoland since they were having month long Halloween event (Brick or Treat) and tickets were on 50% discount. Upon arrival it was easy to find the giant parking lot, but the price was $35 for the day. We breezed through the security and ticketing scanning lines, wasn’t crowded at all. Upon entering the park I was actually really impressed. Some of the big rides and merchandise shops were right at the entrance. They had free paper maps. As we wandered around we got on several rides. The rides around the Lego Castle and Lego City were much more fun. Some of the popular rides had wait time up to 20 minutes, but most other rides had less than 5 minutes wait time. Some of our favorite rides were ninjago, tower climb, dragon’s apprentice, and splash battle. The miniland is an incredible place in itself. They recreated so many of America’s beloved cities like NYC, Philadelphia, DC, Chicago, Vegas with their most iconic landmarks and buildings. It was so impressive to see how they incorporated every single small details. At the park we found out there were about 7 locations where they were giving out candies to everyone between 2pm - 6 pm. There were also halloween decorations all around the park. There were some halloween special character greet and meets as well. The food and drinks are prices at the park as expected. A soda bottle was $6, hot dog $11, and got a special halloween ice cream that costed $25. The double cheeseburger and chicken tender I had for lunch was decent but the hot dog was pretty bad. Soda bottles seemed stale, not sure how they managed to do that. In the park they were running special promo of Gold Pass only for $109 (Regular price $169), for rest of 2025 and all of 2026. I was able to use my $35 parking fee towards the purchase. I also got 10% discount towards all food and merchandise I purchased in the park. For future visits I’ll be getting free parking and bring 2 guests for 50% discount. It was really worth getting it as I found few legos and magnets in the park and do plan to comeback for Christmas and next summer. All the staff members were really nice to us throughout the park. They went above and beyond when they were having trouble applying my parking fee towards the Gold pass purchase. The whole experience was so nice that we entered around 11:30 am but ended up staying until 6pm when they were closing.

Amazing place to be! Me and my family had so much fun! There are so many areas there that is would take you at least 3 days to see everything. One notable thing was the mini city. It was small but huge at the same time!

If it wasn't for free Military entry and half off for kids today I would be furious. It only cost us about $38/per child and $35 to park the car. The park remained nearly empty all day and there were no lines. Yay! We first went to the bottom of the park and quickly realized ALL rides we were looking for were closed for the season, including the firetrucks etc. "Driving school" was soo slow and dull that my 8 year old was not impressed. My 4 year old was also sad about the Jr. Driving school as his PowerWheel is 10x more thrilling. Its hard (at 4.5 years old) to watch a subling have such a nice track only to be told you can only sit and go in a circle at 1mph. I started to feel awful about bringing them to the park but still had hope. We ventured up the hill to find that EVERY thing around us cost more money (RC car pit, carnival games at $5/ball). We got to the ride my oldest was most excited about, the larger Dragon coaster, only to learn it was closed for November The employees standing there wont tell you that. The guy actually said he had no information if it would reopen that day. Dug into the website and saw it was closed for a few weeks for no real reason.. until it reopens for the Holiday Bricktacular. So, another let down. $tores and bubble $tands at the Castle were open of cour$e! Lines where we only had to wait for one rotation of riders still took FOREVER on some rides (Duplo train included). Seats next to children left open without asking for any solo riders.., broken sections left empty. Ugh. Most sections and even indoor building areas felt far too babyish for my 8 year old. At this point.. his dream trip had become lame. The lego he asked for at the store was $670 😂 We emotionally just quit lol. Many buttons for displays or little areas didn't seem to function. It almost became comical how poor everything was.. Again, if we hadn't received the Military tickets or this was a special birthday trip I'd be ANGRY. 5 hours of driving to be let down. My oldest did love trading mini figures (bought 5 boxes) with staff and at the stations. We loved the Lego Factory ride and the large store was great. Pretzels are delicious.

We had a fun experience at Legoland. We wanted to go for a long time, it’s a bit expensive but worth it. We went and it was a lot of fun. There’s a lot to do and we didn’t even cover it all. It’s a lot of walking but everything was nice and organized. Parking was easy and there wasn’t a line to get in. The kids had a really good time.

I was really looking forward to visiting LegoLand theme park with my family, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The biggest issue was the extremely long wait times! We only managed to get on a few rides, even though we spent most of the day there. Plus, there’s A LOT of walking involved, and with so much time spent just waiting or moving between areas, it felt more tiring than enjoyable. For the high entrance fee, I expected a lot more in terms of ride access and overall experience. The giant Lego figures around the park were a cute touch, but we'll most likely not visit again. If you do plan on visiting this theme park, make sure to purchase your tickets online. They're much cheaper there.

There are pros and cons to any amusement park. Legoland is for ages 2-8 - the rides are simple and geared for younger children. There are not many - so if you are truly looking for lots of rides - this is not your place. It is also spread out and very hilly, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared. You can bring in a small cooler. I suggest putting in sandwiches, as the food is limited. My grandchildren had a wonderful day. We stayed from open to close, however, we will not return. For us, it was one and done. What bothered me the most was that a few of the rides had only one attendant. For instance, the merry go round, as you enter, had one person checking to see if everyone was secure in their seats with belts fastened prior to starting the ride. This took a while for the person to check everyone. It would have taken half the time if there were two employees. I found this on several rides, where it would have gone a lot faster if there were more workers. Hence our wait would have been shorter. We did not stay at the resort. If you arrive when the park opens, as we did, we were able to cover the entire place.

This is the worst resort we have ever been to anywhere in the world! The worst management ever! No one is held accountable for anything! It is divided into sections w/o anyone to help with issues from other sections - problem with the hotel, you need to text them and hope for a response! Problem with the theme park, do not ask at the hotel because they blame it on the park and the park blames everything on the hotel, or the subcontracted lifeguards, photo company, or some obscure group where you cannot get any satisfaction. DO NOT buy the photo package and expect anything like Disney! We bought the package for the three days at the theme park and all day long there are 3 or 4 possible photo opportunities - the one or two theme characters walking around - no photo person to be found. At Disney, we always get 100's of photos to choose from. The Legoland photo package is a supreme ripoff! The hotel advertises a pool but they close the pool once or twice a day blaming lack of lifeguard staff yet since this is subcontracted, no one takes responsibility. We asked in the mornings if the pool would be open all day and of course, no one could tell us! They do have room cleaning and towel replacement. So, no wash cloths, no face towels, but they did change the bath towels. There is no place to put any clothing so you need to live out of your suitcase. The hotel charge includes a free breakfast of eggs, bacon, and tater tots. Anything extra (French toast, fruit) costs more but is very reasonable. Of course, our eggs, bacon, and potatoes were cold every day! There is no phone in the room because there is no one to call. There is no front desk and all communication is by cell phone texting. The hotel website is horrendous. Want to stay more than two days, you need to call and the staff is quite nasty on the phone. Want the photo package (before we knew it was a ripoff to collect money) for three days, they can't do it. Instead, we paid and had to repeatedly go to the photo booth at the entrance every day to get it to work. This required dealing with a single employee handling issues, taking photos, collecting monies, and trying to figure out more than a 2 day photo pass. Now, we are home from the horrible trip and we cannot download any photos. We emailed the photo subcontractor and all they say is they are having a high volume of issues and will eventually get back to us. Did they contact you? Well, they did not contact us either!!!

The kids enjoyed themselves but overall our experience was pretty underwhelming. Food is crazy expensive and subpar at best. There are also little options for food. Bricks and Skyline share the same menu, apart from maybe a couple of different items. And the adult drinks are outrageously priced! A White Claw was $16.50 and they only had one flavor, my husband got an old fashioned and it was $19. While breakfast is included in your stay, you still don't have a lot of options. Two styles of eggs, two meats (all suuuuper greasy), and tater tots. But then pay extra if you want pancakes, french toast sticks, or fruit. And an up charge if you want a fountain drink. Apart from that, the other free options are a few types of cereal, an orange, an apple, or toast; apple juice, orange juice, water, whole milk, chocolate milk, tea, or the bitter coffee you get at most hotels (pay extra if you want anything other than whole milk or the half & half creamers for your coffee). The park itself was ok. The rides they have were decent. Obviously meant for the kids so I can't complain about that part. But again, the food was awful and insanely expensive. Other than that, the staff members were wonderful. Friendly, helpful, seemed to actually enjoy themselves. 8/10 was not worth it for us. We won't be going back.

Went here for a weekend during the summer and it was so much fun. The resort was amazing, everything you could ask for. It also helped that Legoland amusement park was right next door and withing walking of the NEw York resort. The food was great and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms and the themes of the rooms was cool to see. Whether it be a Ninja theme (Ninjago) or Pirate theme, it fit the look and feel of the place. Looking forward to coming back here for another visit.

Great mini amusement park for young kids! Variety of food options: turkey legs, hot dog, cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, etc. they have a few mini roller coasters. Many water rides if you go on a hot day! They have an app so you can check the times of rides and they def over estimate which is great! Came on a field trip and the 6th graders loved it !

We ventured up to LEGOLAND this year for our family vacation in early June. The crowds were light so we had a blast going on all the rides without any wait. The park just opened the gondola ride at the time, which was a nice way to cool off an avoid walking up or down the hill to the entrance. The store on site has a ton of lego sets and a vast selection of gifts (much larger than any Lego store I have been to). The water park was a lot of fun but has timed entry so make sure you get tickets during the day. The only con is the food prices for the portions and selections given. I would say there needs to be a couple more options available in the park too. Overall, a really fun time.

Not a fan of this place at all. Staff were very rude when my daughter wanted to go on a ride because she was too tall for it. Instead of saying it nicely- she was basically scolded by an employee with her cousin. A lot of the rides were closed when we came after a 2plus hour drive and to top it off my brother had issues with staff who would not allow him to go in the areas with his wife when his son who has Autism to call him down in the supposed Autistic friendly areas. They claim the park is Autistic friendly but to not allow a father and mother to go in together to calm their son down is not called for. And when my brother went to the spots that were supposed Autism spots- they were mostly all closed. Disappointing trip- wish it was a more pleasurable time- but at the end everyone was upset.

The resort, itself was SPECTACULAR! Realistic, Life-sized structures ALL made out of LEGOS!! It was a picturesque dreamland! Very interactive and excitement around every corner. If you're an adult, yes, you yourself WILL be excited. And Yes, you will have long lines, but the wait is worth it. Yes, a bottle of water costs as much as rent, however, the overall experience was worth it. Next time, I may bring my own water bottles though lol. The lines weren't horrendously bad. Average wait time is about 30 to 40 minutes, which goes by faster than you think! We've met a few other positive like-minded parents, with their little ones waiting in line. Met someone who was also from out of town, who lived in the same town as us! We went on a ride together. It was truly a great investment and time well spent for family fun day. Now as for the hotel, that is advertised as being associated with the resort, I would give it zero stars, because they rob you. It's WAY over priced. You'll be spending close to a grand for two nights stay. Unreal. And it's not truly apart of the resort. They have Lego things there in the lobby and Lego style hotel rooms, but they are a separate entity.

This is a review of the theme park, not the hotel. We met up with friends from out of town with 2 little girls. I was just excited to walk through the park, looking at the Lego models, with them, and didn't expect to be able to get in any rides. But surprise, they had rides for various ages and designed that adults can ride too. My only complaint is that the lines move slow. Watching the employee having to unlock the booth to press a button to trigger the pre-recorded "monologue" was making me frustrated! It would save the employee from taking extra unnecessary steps and speed up the line a little if they just give them a remote clicker or put a button that can trigger the recording by the height measurement. So, as the employee check for height requirements, they press the button. More misting stations would be nice. Saw plenty of spots that were exposed to the sun with no shade in sight... Or some more trees that offer shade. The sun was brutal, especially in Lego City! It felt like there was no shade anywhere! What I found amazing was that the bathrooms throughout the park were incredibly CLEAN! And yet, I didn't see a single cleaning crew! HOW!? Even by the waterpark/Pirate land, where you expect to see wet floors in the bathroom, it was clean. Amazing! It was a fun day

We've grown to love LEGOLAND here in NY. If you go for a day, it's definitely pricy so I recommend going early and having the endurance to try a lot! Make sure you stop to hydrate and eat (so many options for food, they are generally ok if you want to bring your own, though I don't think they allow coolers) Season passes make sense if you're nearby and give you the flexibility to do short stints knowing you can return (kids loved this option) We did the season passes last year and it was a great way to break up the park and get it moneys worth on those return visits.

This trip was simply just awful. My son has asked to go here for several years, I finally managed to put the money together for his birthday and turns out it's a SCAM. YOU SHOULD BE CLOSED IN WINTER OR BE 1/2 PRICE. Full price for what we experienced is insanity. Biggest issues - MORE THAN HALF of the park was closed. This is not disclosed anywhere. Obviously I didn't expect water rides to be open but they closed things completely and it was a more than just a disappointment. It should be offered at a lower price if you can't even experience it. -Food - no options for except one place. Even the coffee/hot cocoa station was TRASH. (They had two crusty muffins shown it was gross). Food in the hotel was overpriced to the max and less than mediocre. Breakfast was cold. Like, COLD. -This may be a personal opinion but this is not geared to a large age group. Maybe I would have felt different if the other part of park was open but this felt geared to 4-7 year olds. Anyone over 10 would be miserable. -Along with the closing issues, I was infuriated that most of mini-land was closed. The ONE thing I thought I could enjoy is closed off for no good reason, and it just disgust me. What I see as the biggest problem here is false advertising. You should be informed that this is this bad. You have certain expectations considering the price and none were met. ***waitress for dinner was fantastic, most employees friendly, and MOSTLY clean. Not always. IF THIS REVIEW DOES ANYTHING FOR ANYOME LET IT STOP YOI FROM WAITING YOUR MONEY AND DONT COME HERE. I'd try and get my money back but I know it's not worth it they know exactly what they are doing.

Our family always enjoy coming here during Halloween. Kids love the themed rooms and it's not so big where we can't finish the whole theme park in one day. Lines do get long but relatively fast.

Wow!! I was surprised on how big this hotel was. It was a pleasant surprise on all the creativity man made displays around the exterior and interior in this hotel. I could imagine how full it gets during its opening season. I had the pleasure of meeting all their Chefs. They are a hospitable team. It was my pleasure to see how truly devoted they are in making a great difference here. Kudos to all!! It's differently a great exciting place. Definitely A Must!!

Perfect vacation for 8-year-olds. They could ride everything, weren't exhausted from the walking (it's built on hills - so lots of winding paths and stairs), and were mesmerized by everything LEGO. I highly recommend having your kids bring minifigures to trade at the posts or with cast members. You can buy them there, but if you bring them, you can save some money. (3 pack of minifigures is $15). The gift shops were decently priced, similar/same cost of sets that you would see at Target/Walmart. We splurged and stayed at the hotel, but it was worth it because there was tons of fun inside - disco ball and music in the elevator, dance parties in the lobby at night, complimentary juice boxes and water bottles in the room, free hot breakfast (served family-style), outdoor pool with foam LEGOS, and much more. Biggest complaint about the hotel, is the very, very light water pressure in the shower. For the free breakfast, I recommend booking reservations as soon as you're able to (30 days from your stay). Food is served on big platters and you can order seconds and make modifications. My kids enjoyed eating tater tots for breakfast (and so did I). We also came back to the room mid-day for lunch and a quick wind-down before heading back to the park (it closes at 6pm). Pool hotel closes at 8pm and is shut down from 3-4pm daily.

Family and I just came back from 2 night trip at Legoland NY and stayed at the Legoland Hotel. Overall, my young son and teenage daughter had a good time in spite of the rainy weather. Since it was still in late March weather was cold so I can understand most of the water rides/attraction was shutdown. We went during the opening of the season and due to the weather, there wasn't as many people so we got to do most of the rides and 4D shows twice. The park is perfect for kids under 10. The Hotel was decent and my 7 year old enjoyed the Legos in the room. The nightly activities for the kids was also good fun. Staff everywhere was really nice and wonderful to interact with in general. The only down side are the prices for food at the park and at the Bricks restaurant in the hotel. It's just too overpriced for the below average quality of the food provided. And $15 for a can of beer?? I do understand we didn't have to purchase any of the food item but they know they have a captive audience. Overall I would most definitely take my family again and also staying at the on site hotel is very convenient. However I would skip the food purchases and either drive off site and go like 4-5 miles down the freeway and get lunch and dinner.

Went to the one in Orlando twice and it was decent. The NY is honestly a skip. There were a whole bunch of misses. Got double charged for parking through their site. Had to deal with that. Also, they force you on about half the food vendors to order online, no thanks. I'm not interested so had to skip those places. Overall, food selection is awful, pack your own lunch and drinks. Also it took 5 hand sanitizers to actually get any. If this place was busy (was not) I'd have given it a 1 star rating. Doubt we'll ever come back.

what a waste of money.. first of really expensive and you have to pay for 2 year olds , which would be no problem if they had more things for the 2 year olds to go on.. my daughter isn't 36 inches tall yet so she couldnt go on any ride .. and also they don't allow wagons in for your children they keep saying for "security" reason which I think is bull it's just another way to get money out of you to rent a stroller.. so me and my pregnant wife had to carry both our daughters through the park (granted the two year old did walk some) . not particularly friendly either about 50/50 with the workers.. will never be going back and not recommending to anyone

Update: after emailing, the resort and park were able to resolve. Last year we spent two nights at Legoland hotel and the park and we had a mixed experience. Being that I have two young boys and that I'm a travel agent, I wanted to give it another shot to be able to offer to my clients and to my own family. I booked a reservation last night and had difficulty with the online booking platform. It instructed me to call for a resolution, which I did, only to get a message that lines were closed. Frustrating, considering I was following instructions. I tried again, using another computer and credit card in case that was the issue. I received not one, but TWO confirmations and four pending charges appeared on my card. Given that I had received two confirmations and saw the transaction appear on my card, I left to make the 4-hour drive for our family vacation. When I arrived, I was surprised to find out that both reservations had been canceled without any notification to me whatsoever. The representative on the phone was unable to help and instructed me to talk to someone at the hotel. Nearly 35 minutes after waiting, I was told that they could not help me at the hotel with my tickets, nor could they give me the rate that I had confirmed the night before. Despite me not cancelling the reservation and not even being TOLD it was canceled, it was not able to be reinstated or the rate honored. I'm now writing this 90 minutes after arriving, as it sit in the lobby literally crying alongside my (also crying, and neurodiverse) 7 year old son. I have no explanation for him on why our confirmation was canceled and not communicated, nor do I understand it myself. With the premium price LegoLand demands, I expect more. And, I don't think asking for communication around not having a place to sleep tonight is asking much.

I had a great time as an old adult with a child in tow. Yes, it's expensive and yes, I know. The rides were really fun and great for children. The Lego structures were amazingly put together and the design of the park was aesthetically pleasing. There were some hills that made the 90 degree day pretty intense but they had a twenty dollar giant cup that you could refill throughout the day. I got my moneys worth in drinks. Most food places were closed the day I went but the burger joint was delicious and decently priced. It really was a great experience with my family. Honestly some employees could use an attitude adjustment, however the other half really loved their jobs and took pride in being a Lego theme park dream maker person. Towards the afternoon, the lines did get longer and some waits were ridiculous but that's the nature of a theme park. The display itself was worth it and was phenomenal. The caricature artist Isabella was awesome and captured my wife and I perfectly on that day. FYI - they don't don't do cash, at least what we saw - Apple Pay, Google Pay or cards. That did throw us off as I brought dollars to make it rain.

Our second (and final) trip to LegoLand...several rides were closed again which is always disappointing...the rides that were open were good but the Fire Truck (no clue it's official name) ride literally took 10 minutes between the group that exited and new riders being allowed on - we finally had to ask if the ride was still open as the workers were just talking among themselves and not turning over passengers, several people in line were very frustrated at the slow pace of things. The all you can eat pizza buffet ($67 for four people even with our discount) was barely edible - sure the kids "loved" it but they aren't exactly connoisseurs of quality food. The water bottle/water fountains are plentiful, but the water was lukewarm, just another mildly frustrating detail after a day of them. The park is targeted toward the very young, under 7 I'd recommend.

This review is for both the park and the hotel. Hotel- We were late to the game and my 2 daughters were stuck with the kingdom theme. Would've loved to have gotten them the more girly themes but they were happy nonetheless. We were given a sheet with a scavenger hunt in the room that reveals a number combination that opens up the chest in the room for some goodies. Lobby has a game room and a giant castle for the kids to run around and play, and obviously legos to build. There's also a restaurant, bar, game room and access to the pool. I was really disappointed with the game room, it's tiny and not much to play. The elevators are really cool. Every time you go up and down the disco lights come on and its a dance party. There's only 4 floors though so its not much time for a party but still pretty neat. Be sure to check out the electronic whoopee cushion by the elevator on the 1st floor too! Vending machine and ice machine is in a tiny closet on the 3rd floor (if i remember correctly). $5 for a bottle of water is crazy though. Luckily you have access to leave and enter the park if you stay in the hotel. Go get something elsewhere. Park- The park has a lot of sculptures as you can imagine. We took 15 mins to even get into the park because the girls were distracted by all the things at the entrance. The rides are pretty neat and probably the first things you should hit up to avoid the heavy lines later in the day. There's a professors ride, ninjago ride, and 4D theater. Other things that seemed to be popular are the driving class, fire trucks, and the pirate ship (water ride). Beware of the ship, spectators are ruthless and can blast water into the riders faces. Protect your kids at all cost!. Food options at the hotel and the park are pretty decent from what we had. Kids got their dose of chicken tenders and mac n cheese. We got some steak, bbq chicken and brisket (in the park). What I loved most about them was their ability to tell us what's in every dish. The little one is allergic to dairy so that's a big deal for us. Btw, you get free breakfast buffet with your room! Overall, kids loved the park and was tired out from all the walking... oh so much walking! It was also extremely hot with very little shade through out the park. It's a far from perfect park and the hotel+park option cost us a fortune, but kids had a good time which is what really matters. We'll just need to cancel Christmas this year :(

Visited today (weekday in august) with the wife and kids. Here's my take: It's ok. Not that big and overly expensive for no reason. It cost over $80 a person, $27 for parking (which you pay for some reason at the end), and that doesn't include food or drink (small bottle of soda was $5.50). The entire park took just over 3 hours to complete. The lines weren't very long (which was good). This park is geared for those under 10. My kids are 10 and 13 so they were beyond most of them. The best ride by far was the dragon coaster. There was no wait and it was the best part of the park. There is a cool feature at Legoland. You can bring mini figures to trade with the staff. Overall it was cool to check out once but I cannot see ever going back; not for that size and price atleast.

Lets just get straight to the point that this was actually a fun and less stressful park. I appreciate a "kid's park" now more than the "teens/adults" park just because its not so overwhelming, less rowdy, less crowded and generally the lines are shorter. There were still rides and areas that were not open or were under construction during our visit in 5.15.22 but there were already lots of things to do and see. One of the fun rides we had was the Splash Battle and the Fire Academy. Splash Battle was one way to cool off and just release energy by getting others wet haha and Fire Academy gets your competitive side going! You might need to eat after though lol the Rogue Rider also looked fun but we didnt get to try that one. Maybe next time. There were also lots of little details and lego decors all over the place and it was fun that some of them "talk". There was enough places to eat and get drinks with choices varying from burgers, pizza, sandwiches, BBQ and rice options at the Ninja Kitchen. Hoping this place only gets better once its 100% complete.

Firstly, while there isn't much shade the park is beautiful. It's super clean and new, and the workers are helpful and friendly. It was also pretty awesome to see life-size Lego figurines. Now, the park itself is a money grab, in my opinion. Tickets are nearly 100 bucks for adults and children over the age of two. Thankfully, an online promo code for every adult ticket purchased equals one child free was available the day I visited (07/30). Parking cost $27 after taxes, which should be included with the park entrance fee, if you ask me. Typical amusement park food options - fries, chicken tenders, pretzels. There are a few of restaurants on site - BBQ and Italian. We ate at the Italian restaurant, which was a pizza and pasta buffet for $24.99 for adults/$14.99 for kids. Several pizza toppings - supreme, cheese, pineapple and ham, pepperoni, sausage. There were two pasta choices - white and red sauce. Salad, garlic bread, and cheesy bread were also available. This restaurant might be the best food (comes with a small soft drink cup) option at a reasonable price. There are a few games for chances to win stuffed animals. Again, for small children who are paying nearly $100 to enter, a voucher of some sort should be given. A voucher for a small drink and popcorn or hot dog. A voucher to play three games. Something. It's literally nonstop swiping of debit/credit card as soon as you enter. You can spend in the high hundreds depending on how many children you bring to the park. BTW, it's a cashless park.

It was a fun day. There is a good amount of things to do in the park. There is a trackless ride system where they take you to a make-believe Lego factory (It's like one in Disney). Ninjago ride takes you to multiple 3D (with glasses) screens, and you aim and shoot with the movement of the arm. There was an extensive collection of Lego buildings displaying all the places in the US. They have multiple rides like a ship (pirate) that you get on and shoot with a water gun, a fire truck that you pump to make it move, small kids rides for driving a car, a boat ride, a garden maze, etc. They also had a stage show based on Ninjago and a 4D video. Overall, you can do this park in one day. They are open from 10a-6p. They have multiple stores. There were a handful of food areas, and the prices were slightly higher, but it would be average for any amusement park (probably around $20 per person). We would visit again in a couple of years. I recommend it to any family looking for things to do. On the web, you can get a ticket for 2 for 1. If you go there, you will be paying $99 per ticket. Parking is another $30.

I went out to Legoland for a birthday celebration and the kids had a great time. Its a nice place for kids under 10 they have so many fun activities, and lego builds to see. There is alot of walking in this park so wear comfortable shoes. The hotel stay though, is not worth it. The hotel smells of stale milk and absolutely no circulation. Everything smells musty. The restaurant at the location reminds me of a public school lunchroom. So does the food. Its crazy expensive and the food taste microwaved. The breakfast is good though its all you can eat, and everything taste fresh. The pool, well the pool is only accessible if you stay at the hotel. Being from NYC , and I have been to some crowded public pools .. in the Bronx and I can tell you that pool area is gross, and is overcrowded with more drunk adults playing with floating legos than kids. I would rather take my kids to a Bronx Pool than come back to this one. My kids did not get to enjoy it at all, and if you complain to the lifeguards about anyone, or anything they will tell you theres nothing we can do, that no one listens to them... wth?? ??? Hello??? Maybe Kick them out of the pool ?? Anyways the park is cute, fun but the hotel nah, pool nah, I'll pass next time.

We stayed here for their December 'sleep over' series where only hotel guests can access the Legoland NY Park. Note that its partial access as majority of the park is closed except for the big shop, some small outdoor rides and the lego factory dark-ride. Beyond that point the entire park is closed. Your stay includes complementary dinner buffet which wasn't too bad, just mac n cheese, fries, mashed potato, turkey (juicy!), glazed ham, chicken tender and fried chicken. Next morning you would have breakfast too which wasn't so good with only ham, scrambled eggs, biscuits, waffles and pancake sticks. The outdoor pool is closed during winter, the lights are festive the hotel is decorated with Christmas theme. But the overall to do was very minimal. The arcade is the size of a large bedroom with children friendly games. A small lego souvenir shops, the restaurant, and the 'castle' play area which had bunch of loose legos with a small castle play structure and a bar (much needed) for the adults next to it. This is where you see bunch of kids running around and bunch of adults with alcohol looking at their phone. The room itself is so cute and my daughter really enjoyed the bunkbeds just climbing up and down. It had a scavenger hunt chest with 2 small lego toys in it and 2 copies of the lego magazine you can get for free at the lego store. There is no telephone inside the room instead its replaced by a google nest. The TVs offers usual programing along with free lego theme movies. It includes a Keurig machine with coffee and hot cococa K cups, 2 bottles of water and 2 honest kid drinks for free. The sound proofing is terrible in the room and you can hear your neighbors pretty well. The elevator is fun where it has a strobe light so each ride is a 'dance party' but it's the same 3-5 songs playing. The gym is literally 3 treadmill with some free weights. Overall the stay was fine but the activities to do is very minimal. From the outside it appears to be a large hotel but the common area is really not. Legoland in general is gears towards kids up to 7 years old. Anything older you run out of stuff to do fairly quickly.

Needs more shade - get ready to cook! Needs more rides - get ready to wait, and wait...and wait. Must reserve a time to visit the water playground. By 1pm all spots until 5:30pm were full. Reserve and ride creates haves and have-nots. Not consistent with fun and amusement. Feels like a shameless money grab. This place sucks. Tarnishes the Lego brand. Someone tell the executives.

Park is fun but after it was all said and done we spent like $120 per person and the Reserve-and-Ride perk I paid for didn't work. Customer service refused to give me a refund for the upgrade even after I dropped $800+ today.

Not the typical California or Florida LEGOland atmosphere I was looking for. The food situation is weird. You can't bring food into the park and to purchase food using only mobile apps is a nightmare. You do realize you are supposed to be catering to the pickiest eaters on earth. KIDS!! They Dont want fruits or veggies in sight or touching their food. Employees need to be trained properly. Attitudes!! Yellow jackets everywhere.

Legoland is so much fun! It's a great time for the family to enjoy. The rides aren't too turbulent and the Lego displays are very impressive. Lots of interactive things to do. It's a huge place so wear ultra comfortable shoes and it is in the mountains so you may get cold - particularly after September. My family and I went and they had a pumpkin maze and a Halloween costume contest and provided trick or treating. If I could offer a suggestion, in the fall, coffee and tea should be offered both at the cafe and in all of the restaurants and possibly the stands. It got a bit colder than expected and at the bottom of the hill by the movie theater there was no hot beverages to offer - not even hot apple cider. We had to travel back up toward the entrance to the cafe and much to our chagrin, the machine was out of order. If there is anything that needs improvement, it would be accessibility to hot beverages as not everyone drinks soft drinks or Angry Orchard. Other than that... it's the stuff that memories are made of.

My family's First-To-Play annual pass and then upgrade free to now defunct Gold Pass is about to expire (Sept.) so I made a plan to visit again this resort. It was Saturday afternoon in summer and minutes before we arrived to this resort it started raining really hard and we almost changed our plan and to reroute somewhere instead. But upon quick check on the weather app the rain should stop in 30 minutes which it did. This time, the parking lot was packed with more vehicles and it means more people checking out this place. The place is a bit wet, not Legoland's fault by any means, and no floodings anywhere. I never been to other Legoland Resort so I can't really tell if this is bigger or smaller. One thing for sure kids and adults alike are having fun in the rides. The food place is not as pack in the afternoon compared to midnoon. There are cartoon cartographist scattered in the resort and would be nice if acquire their service (dont forget to tip!) together with your family as a travel souvenir. By the way, Gold pass (now equivalent to Elite Pass) gets unilimited visit on off and on peak season/days of all Merlin entertainment atractions i(incl. NJ Aquarium Museum, Madame Tassauds, etc), free parking and more!

Everything is awesome! We were singing this (hehe) the WHOLE time we were at the Legoland New York Resort this past week. Legoland New York Resort consists of the hotel and the theme park. This is the 9th Legoland worldwide and the New York resort is located about 2 hours' drive from New York City. My family and I decided to take my 4-year-old nephew to visit Legoland this year after hearing about their grand opening a few months ago. We opted to stay at the hotel to have the full experience. The 250-room hotel officially started taking reservations this past Aug 6th. We stayed for 2 days and 2 nights and had a blast. Each of the rooms in the hotel are themed (Lego Ninjago, Kingdom Adventure, Lego Pirates, and Lego Friends); we stayed at one of the Kingdom Rooms. Each room was equipped with a Queen size bed and a bunkbed. Each day the hotel provided activities to entertain the kids (in-room treasure hunt, Lego toys, crafts & building activities). The hotel lobby has a mini play structure, an arcade room and free buffet breakfast every morning at the Bricks restaurant. All of the staff at the hotel that we encountered were great and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We had no problem getting extra soaps, shampoos, and treasure hunt toys for each of the day we were there. At times, we did feel that there could have been more staff by the lobby area, specifically around the play structure. I noticed the kids were running around there without supervision by staff. The biggest (and only) downside to our stay was that the pool was still closed for the season. For the money we paid, it would have been nice to have access to the pool. Took off one star because of this. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay here. And the best part of staying at the hotel is the proximity to the park. It's a short 4-minute walk down to the entrance and trust me, this was a huge perk at the end of a full day at the park. We're already thinking of coming back in October when they have Brick or Treat scheduled every weekend. Can't wait!

I went to this place last year with my Oldest son It's overrated to be honest After you check in you need to pay For your parking that's not cheap ! Don't bring any cash it's only "Plastic" if you don't have plastic You can't get in ! This place takes whatever plastic you Have ! Parents can't go on the rides ! I wasn't impressed ! The souvenirs are expensive too ! Food isn't cheap either ! Like anyplace else ! I wouldn't recommend this place The only bring revenue into Goshen That's it !

i took a six year old and 4 year old. i wa disappointed in the quality of the rides, park layout (with really steep hill) and the length of lines, which would indicate a five minute wait that would be a 45 minute wait. very few places to sit in the shade and parking fees more aligned with New York City's midtown prices. on the plus side, the lego-specific designs were great, the park was very clean, and the stores had nice merchandise.

We went for the Holiday Bricktacular Event. We spent the night at the hotel. Hotel didn't offer much activities except creative workshop ( pixels building and some robotic STEM building ) every 1.5-2 hours or so. Each class takes 8 children. First come first serve in registering at the front desk. If you get there after 3 pm, chances are they are all full for the day ( last class is 9:15 pm). You can only reserve the same day. Hotel also offers 8:30 pm PJ dance party and story time. My 10 years old didn't find that too amazing. The hotel building castle with all the legos you can build is open 24/7. We ate dinner at nearby Middletown, NY which is 15 min away and offers a lot of food choices. There is also a Walmart there. We arrived at the theme park 11 am after check out and free included hotel breakfast. It's almost end of December and I could count the cars in the parking lot. No line anywhere. Not while park is open. Only the Bricktopia, Ninjago and Miniland is opened. That mean yes to Lego factory ride and Ninjago ride; No to 4 D movies / driving lesson and Dragon roller coaster. There are some special holiday activities: - mosaic Lego building: you build a small plate of Lego according to instruction and all built up to a big picture - s'more: Single s'more kit can be bought for $6 or a big kit ( 4 servings) for $18. You are then given a long wooden stick to roast marshmallow outdoor at an open fire next to the big gift shop. - 4:30 pm daily tree lighting performance by the carousel: live show singing and dancing including Santa Claus/ Mrs Claus and Elves etc. - Santa's new home at previous creative workshop location. That includes writing and sending letter to Santa and taking pic with Lego Santa if you want. You can use your own camera too - character and other photo op and backdrops scattered in the park. - hot chocolate $5.45 - little Lego gifts added to Miniland. You can challenge yourself to find them, like finding the pumpkins in October. Opening hours when I went was 11-5 pm. It was short but enough time to see everything since almost 1/2 of the park is closed. Many rides are not operating despite that part of park is opened. General admission fee is also reduced. It was cold so we went indoor at the restaurant to take couple of breaks. Overall, my kids had fun. They deserve a little pampering and an 'all fun no work' pass.

This is a must if you're visiting the Legoland park with kids, not just for the convenience of walking right over to the park from the hotel, but because it's brand new, clean, and lots of fun for kids. The moment you walk in there's a huge Lego castle playground that kids will sprint to, complete with "moats" filled with Lego that they can stuff their pockets with and bring to their room or just build right in the lobby. The rooms are very well thought out, with bunk beds for kids, and their own little section complete with a separate TV and even more Lego to play with. The hotel will only get better as the Arcade and Pool eventually open.

Our family experience was wonderful and extremely enjoyed our stay. The customer service all around Legoland is espectacular. They have a wonderful team. They kept the kids entertained during our stay and had things to keep them busy. They have a bar for the adults and a shop. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is free with your stay, and dinner is at cost. Our room was clean and nicely stocked. Beds are comfortable and the kids have an area to sleep. The amusement park! I'm amazed with how clean, nicely cared for the equipment is maintained. The water park was closed but we could see they were getting g it painted, and sealed while repairing what was needed. They have many options for food and snacks. The handle of food is hygienic and every meal we had was delicious. The handling of the food was great. They kept things clean, organized, fully stocked, and they handled your food with care. You can tell this place is doing things right. The staff care to work there. The rides are more for ages 1-15. My son who is 8 had a wonderful time. My 11 and 16 year old enjoyed some rides but wished it had more rides for the older kids. Overall, they enjoyed everything and the stores with many options to purchase. It's a great place to visit and the drive to this location is beautiful and scenic with rocky hills and maintains.

Pains me to write this-but it's got to be done. this is for both the hotel and park since they scammed us tag team style !! Do not go to Legoland during this time late fall/winter if you are expecting the park to be fully opened. We were victims of the ol" Bait and Switch and scammed !! they fooled us into paying full price for our room-when if anything we should have done one day!! Booked an overnight at this overpriced and inflexible hotel after being told by a customer expert on the phone that the whole park would be opened -with the exception of the water rides(which i get) . Well my son and friends were disappointed to see that the WHOLE lower level and more! was closed off and only one restaurant was opened -which resulted in overcrowding, long lines for food , un safe conditions. Things like mini land New York was opened but rest of it closed- which represents only about 30% of miniland-why did they close this off! ridiculous! and just a cash grab to unsuspecting families. so sad. The hotel itself is cute and room was adorable with a lego theme and treasure hunt for the kids. The in room 'refreshments' were very sparse -maybe 3 pouches of juice that's it!! you check in at a kiosk -no front desk but you will have to grab a worker to get answers about anything. They are advertising the bricktakular event-but I'm not even sure it's worth it at 39$. Point is there was No warning that so much would be closed and they charged us Full Price for our hotel stay. The restaurant at the hotel is over priced and crappy cafeteria food. We got free breakfast the next morning but it was not good and waitress dumps a tray of cold breakfast foods and dissapears -Horrible! If you have really little kids they do have some events in the lobby which was cute. The game room is tiny and nothing special. There should be severely reduced prices for an overnight booking at the hotel as the actual legoland is like 80% closed. They even shut down the movie theater why???? oh and you cannot call the resort directly --you go through an 800 number or email and get someone in California who doesn't know anything!! and it takes forever. The COO of this place needs to be replaced. Just Disgusting. And such a scam I feel like an idiot!! Shame on you Legoland and Legoland resort. Update: After much complaining they refunded a portion of the full park fee-but was not enough and it was the legal thing to do and we were charged 139$ for use of the park and people would were not staying at the resort were paying the $39 for park entry fee. So this was actual the lawful thing to do and they acted like they were doing us a favor. Next stop would have been bbb and an lawyer! Stay away from this place.

Cool place for kids! :) I visited during their preview time a couple of weeks ago with my sister and her kids and got to try some rides. Get there early so it's less crowded! I recommend using reserve n ride to save time from waiting in lines! Apple fries are pretty good and drink refills are also good for sharing if you get it for the day! I like to mix some slushy with soda so it's easier to drink and stays cold for longer! They have changing color spoons for ice cream, vanilla soft serve is yellow colored, apple is green and cotton candy is blue, you can do a twist flavor at wizards frozen wonders, vanilla was the better one for me, the others were too sweet. It's a better deal to get two separate cups than getting the cotton candy cauldron (cotton candy and apple swirl, 2 flavors combo with whipped cream and purple candy rocks on the top) - really sweet imo, so skippable.

I really, REALLY tried to like this place. The smaller Legoland Discovery locations are great distractions for toddlers so I was really hoping the new big resort/theme park counterpart would deliver the same fun. Bottom line: this place is dealing with some major growing pains. First the pros: - This place is new, so it feels new and most things are in newish condition - If you get there early, the closest parking lots are close to the front doors - There's a decent amount of variety in the rides - Each section of the park feels very unique - Only an hour away from the GWB so it's fairly close to NYC But man there are a shit ton of cons: - This place has no fucking shade. At all. So if it's a hot day, like the roasting and humid ass day that I went, I guarantee you it will be a miserable experience to walk around the park as you bake to death in real time - The above speaks to the "newness" of the park given the lack of trees and any meaningful landscaping makes it all feel sterile, like you're in an outdoor version of an indoor park - The lines here are long. That's because there's a crap ton of people and also the staff is working at a glacial pace. It's almost like they are intentionally slow to just piss you off as you stand with a bunch of screaming, tired or bored kids - To that point, people just don't seem to know how to operate efficiently. It almost feels like they don't actually know how to run a theme park. The staff here reminds me of the mostly lackluster staff at their smaller Discovery locations, but unlike a smaller place you really can't hide bad operating performance in a theme park where things need to run smoothly before the crowds get annoyed. People who work here really feel a few steps slow - This place is a torturous experience for people who bring strollers. The rolling elevation of this park means you will be heaving around a ton of shit in your stroller while walking around a lot of hilly paths - Ordering food on an app is a pain - Bathrooms are damn far from each other - Tickets are pricey considering all the crap I just listed I think this place needs a lot of work and has to iron out a lot of kinks. Even the damn parking lot scanner didn't work. This place gets the big things right like lots of rides, etc ... but it just can't seem to get the important and some captain obvious details down. I hope they improve this place soon.

This is our 3rd park after being in California and Florida! The place is new but lines are crazy! We got discounted tickets for half price as most attractions in the park are closed. We came to ninjago ride and in line for over an hour!!! It is not worth it. Cheaper to go to a Lego store in NY and you see the same statues!

We decided to plan our visit once each world opened so we could get the full experience. If you're a season pass holder, reservations will be needed in advance. For those purchasing tickets, when you book your ticket you are also reserving the specific day. The park was at capacity the day we went to give others an idea of how busy with capacity requirements. Parking was easy (you pay on the way out) If purchasing parking in advance, you'll scan the QR code when you exit the parking lot so hang onto the parking paper that was printed! We arrived right when the park opened and we're able to get on rides with no wait. We were able to also ride rides more than once (the park started to fill up as the day went on, lines got longer) They do have the staple Ninjago ride at this location. Always a fun experience for those who haven't ridden the ride before. This park has one large coaster. It's pretty good, and honestly, I feel if you sit on the left the coaster experience is more intensive (just saying!) The only missing piece to this park was the triple decker couch ride. Yes, the movies are super fun and amazing... but those visiting this location should be able to experience the fun of that ride, too! All model citizens (employees) were extremely professional and nice. There was always someone near by. The park was exceptionally clean as well. No trash and we'll maintained. We did not stay at the Legoland Hotel but it's on the park property, so check into it if they're not booked.

Legoland NY is a kids park for sure - definitely for the ages of 6-12 specifically. We brought our toddler (2), and kids (9&11) on a weekday in August. It was not crowded and we got through all the rides in less than 4 hours. Definitely a place to cross off the bucket list, but you don't need to stay in the hotel and don't need more than a day. There was only 17 rides in the entire park, and they are all 3 minutes or less. My toddler could only ride a few of the rides, most had minimum height requirements. Whoever designed this place, I could punch. It's a HIKE to get anywhere (map attached in photos) and the whole park is on a hill. We had to climb 6 flights of stairs to get from the bottom of the park back to the beginning. Who wants to do that with tired kids? There is also no direct path to anything, the paths are winding. Everything is ridiculously overpriced as well. To be expected of course. If I had paid full price (coupon for valpak was bogo) for four hours, I would have been upset!

Came back from Legoland Hotel and was Sorely disappointed after spending upwards of $1,000 dollars for a one night stay!! Some of the many Cons- Pool Opens at noon and closes at 8pm. Am I kidding? No this seemed crazy to me... never heard of such a thing... and for the millions spent you think the pool would be a decent size. My neighbors pool is bigger. The Arcade has about 6 games. Some diners have bigger arcades and it's almost laughable. I know we aren't there to spend on arcades but how about on rainy days and after dinner... we thought the size of the arcade and the pool was simply ridiculous! We also thought the idea of self check in while efficient lacks to give us important information like you must reserve to have your "included" breakfast or if you visit the water playground, you need to reserve that as well! These were all the things that put a sour taste in our mouths and likely won't be staying at this hotel again.. The theme park on its own has much to offer and is worth visiting. The hotel doesn't even seem to be part of the same group. It Lacks and Lacks over and over. Hopefully they will get their heads together and fix this mess of a hotel...

Bring you're kids they will love it! Lots to do lots too see, pricey but worth it. Summer fall or winter will be fun. Build a dream

My family and I had a great time at Legoland. The park does get crowded so please arrive prior to opening time to ensure you're one of the first people in. Go with a game plan of what rides you really want to ride first and head there as soon as you get in. The 4D movie was awesome and also a great opportunity to take a break and cool off. The apple fries are delicious, definitely suggest trying them especially with caramel. There isn't much shade at the park if any at all so if you're visiting on a sunny day be prepared for that. If visiting with small children a stroller is a good idea since there's a lot of people and hills. The refillable cup is a good idea to save money on drinks at the park. Refills are free all day. Also, non-alcoholic drinks and on the go food is allowed so pack that too especially for the kids. We'll definitely be back!

So... first impressions are, this place has the potential to be amazing. This visit we went on a "preview day" which they are marketing as a "dress rehearsal" for when they fully open, so this is based on how they are operating with only being open a few weeks. First off, bring water bottles with you. It was 90 deg today and there are few places to hide from the sun. There are water bottle refill stations all over so it is easy to stay hydrated. But there's not much in terms of shade or water features to keep you cool otherwise. The park is broken into different "lands" with corresponding themes. The only one not open yet while we were there was the pirate themed land. The others all had their own theme restaurant, gift shop, and themed attractions to go with the land your in. The few rides that were open were cool, And mostly smaller kid oriented. There was a 4-D movie that was actually pretty fun (surprised me honestly) most of the lines were pretty long due to the slow pace of the new staff, but we expected that going in. Hopefully things will smooth out quickly for them. Park workers are still figuring things out. I watched a concession stand worker have an emotional melt down over having to cancel a transaction. (There is no cash accepted anywhere in the park and someone wanted to pay in cash) Ride operators were visibly frustrated throughout the park, and I think the heat was getting to everyone. We ate lunch at one of the restaurants and the food was pretty decent but very expensive
