Legong Keraton Beach Hotel

Ok so I really enjoy this place. I can fully understand however why some people don’t like it. Please don’t come here and expect a 10/10 experience. Yes, the hotel is outdated and yes, it is noisy up to midnight due to the proximity of Finn’s beach club. However this is a humble hotel that doesn’t boast more than it offers. I’m young and enjoy being in the middle of the hustle of night life. The pool is incredibly clean and the lounge chairs offer an excellent place to relax and enjoy views of the beach. The staff are also incredibly hospitable. The rooms and clean enough and it’s evident that management are slowly making their way through the rooms and renovating them one by one. The food is tasteful and prepared fresh. You get what you pay for here. If you want accomodation that is quiet, don’t book here. But if you’re happy with being in the middle of Canggu’s bustling night life, then Legong is your place.

So 4th January was my last date to cancel my booking without getting charged for the room, but on 5th January I had severe medical problems, so I had to cancel my Bali trip and I cancelled this hotel room on 5th January and my check-in date was 2 weeks later. Inside Agoda, there is an option to request the hotels to not charge for the cancellation and make it free. So I had used that option and in that I had even written the message to the hotel that I have severe medical problems and because of that I will have to cancel my trip. Can you please refund the money? But in return, the email which I got from the hotel was that they are not going to return even a single rupee to me and that was very unexpected and very bad because if not full 100%, they could have at least refunded 50% of my booking amount because I had paid full all nights charge has been deducted from my card. So that was a very bad experience and that's why I am writing this review because I was at least expecting some kind of a refund, if not full, but I got an email stating that they will not be refunding even a single rupee to me. So that was very bad.

Our stay at this hotel was truly lovely. My partner and I chose it because we wanted to enjoy a bit of Bali’s nightlife — and it was exactly what we were hoping for! We had dinner at a great place nearby and then headed to Finn’s Beach Club, which was absolutely fabulous. One of the best parts was being able to walk straight from the party back to our room, since the hotel is right next door — so convenient! The only thing to consider is that when it was time to sleep, we could still hear some music coming from a nearby bar (not Finn’s), but honestly, it’s understandable given the location. The breakfast was delicious, and being right in front of the beach made the views absolutely stunning — waking up to that was a real treat. A special mention to one of the massage therapists who gave both my partner and me what we agreed was the best massage we’ve ever had. So professional and incredibly relaxing! The staff were also wonderful — very kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy both comfort and Bali’s vibrant energy. 🌴🍹

Pretty loud on the weekends (music until 2am on Fri/Sat because of Finn's beach club next door) but very nice staff and right on the beach.

I would rate this hotel 10 out of 10! The hospitality was amazing, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and kind. The food was outstanding and exceptionally clean. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay at this incredible hotel. Shoutout to the whole team — we’ll definitely be coming back! 🤍

We chose the hotel near Finns Beach Club, but we regretted it. My husband and I ended up coming home sick; we caught a stomach virus. There's already a sewage system next to the hotel, which is truly disastrous. Also, the rooms and showers weren't clean, the sheets were dirty, and there were mosquito stains on the walls. The room photos on Google and Booking.com don't reflect reality.

I stayed at a deluxe beach front room. Big room, very basic but the mattress has a banana shape already, time to replace it. Service was excellent and staffs were kind and attentive. Location is good at Berawa beach front but the traffic to and from hotel was horrible due to narrow street. Because neighboring with Finns beach club, you can hear loud music until midnight due to lack of soundproof in room.
