Leighton House - Boutique Guesthouse

What a beautiful spot to stop for a night in Bath. We had come in from a flight from NZ and walked into a quiet oasis. Beautifully appointed large room with spacious King bed and gorgeous linen. Just what you need after a long haul flight. The shower and bathroom has everything we needed. Towels were soft and there bathroom had all we needed for one night. The breakfast the following morning was just lovely and they were able to cater what we needed. The decor was fantastic and suited the error of the house. Would 100% stay again. We loved it.

Great place to stop and go explore bath with the great views from the hotel and the park 2 minutes up the road. From the hotel it is a 10 minute walk into town. Hotel staff were lovely. Rooms nice and big. I'd say people who were stopping above us were super noisy and loud so as we stopped on the ground floor I'd recommend trying to get the rooms on the upper floors. Nice spread for breakfast. Parking is tricky when busy and spaces aren't massively big but there is about enough space for 12 cars. Loved pretty much every aspect of this B&B and when we return to bath we shall stop here again.

The best hotel I have stayed at. The hotel is stylishly decorated throughout. The room was excellent and the breakfast had so much to choose from in a gorgeous room. The staff are both friendly and very helpful. There was adequate parking and it is 10 mins walk in to town. I think it is good value for money as most hotels I looked at did not include breakfast or parking. Thank you.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely 2-night stay in this beautifully renovated Georgian mansion. Pleasant 10-minute walk to central Bath (also close to Alexandra Park w/ panoramic views of the city). Modern, tasteful décor; clean, very spacious room (US king bed); delicious, complete breakfast, French-pressed coffee. Free parking out front, early arrival recommended to get a spot easily.

Just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at Leighton House. Would definitely recommend. Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, lovely friendly staff, amazing breakfast and just a few minutes walk to the centre of Bath. Would definitely stay again. A super stay. On arrival we recieved a very warm welcome; the breakfast staff were lovely too, |Breakfast was delicious, and we had a super room (15)|The walk to the centre of Bath is about 15 minutes, and although it is uphill on the way back, it is just a gentle (constant) walk back.|Thank you very much.

Nice looking building, but the quality of rooms, bathroom could be much better. The sound-proof walls are not really there, the rooms are quite small. Definitely not 5-star hotel, maximum 3.

A lovely boutique hotel. |This hotel has a car park which is such a bonus. The gardens are well maintained with a seating area.|There is a busy road that runs by although don’t let this deter you.|The rooms are very spacious ,with an extremely comfortable bed.|Plenty of storage space and a large bathroom with a wonderful shower.|The staff are very professional and helpful.|The breakfast is superb with varied options.|The city centre is only a ten minute walk although I must say that it’s not an easy walk returning as there is a steady incline to the hotel which will cause problems for persons with walking difficulties.|Although there is a car park near by on the outskirts of the city centre.
