"Located along the Kāʻanapali Boardwalk, this breezy, open-air beach bar celebrates all that’s authentically Hawaiian. The menu is full of freshly caught Hawaii fish, chicken and pork from local ranchers, and produce grown on more than 40 family-owned Maui farms, while the drink list features regional beers and even Lokelani sparkling rosé, made on the slopes of Haleakala at Maui’s only winery. If you’re more of a cocktail person, Leilani’s has those, too, including a mai tai made with freshly squeezed juice and a Paloma with house-made hibiscus syrup. Whatever you choose, don’t leave without trying the original hula pie—a chocolate cookie crust topped with macadamia nut ice cream."

14 Best Bars in Maui: Our Favorite Spots for Drinking Any Time of Day | Condé Nast Traveler

"Airy and sprawling, Leilani's is part indoor restaurant, part casual beachside grill, and part bar. If you've come here to drink, beeline straight for the lanai, where you can order cocktails in a breezy, open-air, beach bar–type space with live ukulele music and sweeping views over Kaanapali Beach. Light tropical cocktails like the Mai Tai and the Hibiscus Paloma (tequila, hibiscus syrup, white grapefruit, and lime juice) dominate the drinks menu. But there's also a solid selection of seasonal local beer and (mainly Californian) wines by the glass." - Kris Fordham

Had a lovely dinner for my partners birthday. We both had fish which was lovely and great and prepared well. They comped our desert for his birthday which was a lovely gesture. Great views of the ocean so if you can go for sunset it would be lovely. I’d say for the price they could work on the food presentation but a minor point really, it’s the taste that matters!

We called to make a reservation and the employee said we could walk in. We arrived around 7:30 and were initially told it'd be a 45 minute wait. A couple minutes later an employee told us she could seat us right away. We were ecstatic and immediately seated at a round table. Our server Katy took our drink order, and we ordered a bottle of red wine Joel Gott Palisades. We ordered some appetizers including ceviche and calamari. I ordered the Garlic Shrimp Pasta again as the first time had a lasting impression. Mind you, I'd been here almost 2 years ago and still remembered my meal. I was gonna knock a star off for their Kombucha, it didn't taste at all like real Kombucha…more like sparkling water. However, all our food, drinks and dessert were a 10/10! Our group was so impressed with the high quality food especially the Korean Rib meal and fresh salads. I'd definitely come back again. The atmosphere feels like fine dining with romantic beachy vibes.

Amazing place to dine! We had a 7 pm reservation, and it was so enjoyable!! We were seated at the edge of the outdoor dining and enjoyed a beautiful sunset complimented by gentle acoustics and singing. The meal was very good. Hula pie to die for! The only thing missing was a warm wet washcloth, which I needed after digging into the Hot Seafood Pot. The garden fresh salad (not pictured) was divine. I definitely recommend this dining experience to anyone.

The location is fantastic, and I really appreciated how welcoming the front desk staff were. However, I was disappointed with the happy hour experience. The food and cocktails did not meet my expectations at all. I ordered a rum punch that tasted more like medicine than a refreshing drink, and the food was mediocre at best. Our server even forgot to provide water. Additionally, I didn't find the overall atmosphere of the place enjoyable. I would recommend saving your time and money and heading next door. The happy hour is definitely not worth the visit. The only bright spot was the ambiance, which was nice and conveniently located near the beach. When I asked the waiter for recommendations from the happy hour menu, she bluntly replied that there was nothing good, which made it clear that it was time to leave.

Extremely satisfied with Leilani’s on the Beach! All our food was exceptional and the drinks were amazing. The seafood platter is a bit pricey, but everything was fresh. The Garlic Shrimp Pasta was my favorite, but everything else was a close second. I would highly recommend visiting Leilani’s on the Beach at least once during your trip to Maui.

We chose this place based on the menu. We waited about 25 minutes until "Aloha Hour," which starts at 3pm, and OMG was it worth the wait!! The food and drinks were absolutely amazing!! The atmosphere was chill and relaxed, the server was attentive despite appearing kind of busy and the live music was phenomenal!! At the end of our dinner, the server asked if we had a parking ticket, we said yes, she took it and said they paid for a portion of the ticket, which was a pleasant surprise!! Would go back again 10/5!! No regrets!!

Google
The best Mai Tais on the island! We've been here twice within the last couple of days if that helps anyone trying to decide where to go to get a refreshing beverage after a day at the beach. We dined in the other night, and we're blown away with the service, food, and beverages! Our friends told us about Leilani's and we didn't expect the two levels of the restaurant. Top floor is a beautiful dining room with the most amazing view of the ocean. Sunset dinner? Yes. Please. Lower level is more of a resort casual vibe, beach bar, and live music. The band playing today, Three pounds of Kalo are great and set a vibe for a chill afternoon. The bartenders down here are a chill group of guys and look to enjoy their time here. We will be back once more before we leave to go back home, and when we come back to visit, we will be back!

This felt more like a tourist trap than other restaurants in the area. Our party of 3 was sat in the far back while there were multiple tables open with a view. Thankfully after asking they were able to reseat us to an open table with a better view. Chicken and ribs were good, ahi tuna was somewhat flavorless, and the filet was super fatty (more like a sirloin). The coconut shrimp were the best thing we had, but do not get the extra three shrimp, they charge $17 for the extra three and the regular order of five is $23. So you could have ten shrimp for $46, or do what we did and get 8 shrimp for $40. Our waiter didn’t help us with this, and we didn’t ask, so be careful not to get ripped off. The drinks were very sugary. Overall a 3, could have been a 5 with more attention to quality and a non-predatory add-on system. Views were 7/5.

Yelp
Good food and nice service. Had a good time for dinner watching the sunset. The burger was delicious and the fries crispy. The coconut shrimp was just ok, too expensive for very little. The lilikoi cake was good although very sweet.

Yelp
It's the Hawaiian, beachside restaurant you know you're walking into as a tourist, and it meets every expectation. Located in Whalers Village, this modern restaurant sits overlooking the beach with a bar on the bottom level and restaurant with ocean views on top. Very clean, modern, minimalistic wood design. Food was what you would find at a lot of these hawaiian touristy places like Dukes, Roy's, Monkeypod... basically seafood, steak and chicken options with a slight, but safe, hawaiian flare. We got the prime rib and the herb roasted Ono with an added garlic butter shrimp. Overall, food was good and I actually enjoyed the sauce drizzled on the Ono fish. But for a hefty up-charge, the added garlic butter shrimp was a small little bowl with 5 extra shrimps was a bit disappointing. Service was great, vibe was cool, views great. Overall, a solid dinner spot that has something for everyone.

Yelp
We had such an amazing dinner at Leilanis!! This was absolutely delish. I got the bbq chicken, ribs, and lashed potato pace and it was perfect and sooooo yummy. Insanely good meats the rib fell right off the bone. This was also the best coconut shrimp I have ever had I lovedddd the sauce and they were so crispy. This might be our new fav dinner place in Maui! We had a beautiful view of the ocean at our seats and the restraunt is so pretty too. The service was great and our waiter, Mark, was very quick and attentive and kind. Such a nice guy! Overall would come back here for sure.

Yelp
We made an early reservation for 4:30 and it worked perfectly. As this is an open air restaurant on the beach, we wanted it to be a good temperature, not too hot and not too chilly. This was a great time. We were seated at a table right by the water which allowed for a beautiful view of the ocean while we waited and then later enjoyed our delicious food and drinks. I wasn't in the mood for alcohol, but I was still wanting a tropical 'vacation' beverage so I decided to try the Tropical Smoothie. This was a perfect blend of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, and strawberry. Not too sweet, and gave me that wonderful vacation vibe. When our entrees arrived we were pleasantly satisfied with how delicious they looked, but it was even better once we tasted them! The parmesan crusted fresh catch of the day will not steer you wrong. And adding some coconut shrimp to your meal is really just the cherry on top!
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant overlooking the water. If you come for dinner time you might be able to watch the sunset. They have these blinds that rolled up as soon as the sun wasn't shining right into the restaurant. Service was excellent. For our appetizer and entrees pretty fast and refills of our drinks regularly. Very impressed The calamari and shrimp pasta were the stars of our meal. I've never had calamari like this but the meat was so tasty and fresh. I didn't even need to dip the calamari, I really just wanted to let the freshness shine through. And I ordered the shrimp pasta and loved it! The sauce was so creamy and perfectly cheesy.

Yelp
We celebrated our dear friends' wedding anniversary here while on vacation. It was our first time, but they have been numerous times in the past. They happened to love the food and sunset views from here, and we were blessed to have had an awesome dining experience! Started off with the Chilled Seafood Platter. The abundant fresh seafood from the shrimp, to the oysters, to the lobster was superb! The accompanying ginger yuzu cocktail sauce was perfect for dipping! A few people in our party chose the Parmesan Crusted fish of the day, which they all enjoyed! Another chose the Rib and Chicken Plate, which she said was "fall off the bone" tender and delicious! My choice was the Seafood Hot Pot, which was oveflowing with goodness! The tomato saffron broth was next level, and believe me there wasn't a single drop of broth left over because the generous portion of crostini sopped it all up!! LOL! Our bellies were super full, but we made room for dessert!! No intro needed, just get Kimo's Original Hula Pie! Wow. I can't end my review without mentioning our server, Kaylye (sorry if I spelled it wrong). It was her first night on the job and she was great! She made sure we were taken care of from beginning to end. Aloha & mahalo till next time...

Yelp
BEST PIE!!! They are always super accommodating for small or large groups. The food menus are great both the casual menu and nicer upstairs menu. I'd recommend either!
google avatar

Yelp
We had a great view of the ocean sunset until it started pouring out of nowhere - but capricious torrential downpours aside, the restaurant was a special occasion where we celebrated a member of our party's birthday - they provided us with a wonderful cake despite munching down on the 24oz steak (delicious, beefy, juicy), seafood hot pot (a bit on the saltier side, and not what you might think if these words conjure images of Szechuan-style hot pot, but the bread did wonders as a vehicle for the seafood and broth), and the shrimp pasta (cooked to perfection). The ceviche wasn't my favorite (it felt a bit on the "dry" side somehow, perhaps the quality of the fish and the amount of acidity used or ratio of vegetables to fish). The coconut shrimp was the favored appetizer.
google avatar

Yelp
45 minute wait for dinner. It is ok; we are in Maui. Strolled around the plaza, watched the sunset and just like that our table was ready. Ocean side upper level is the money shot view. Service is what it is in a packed house ~ cordial, hustling, juggling multiple tables. Is the food really any good? Portions tiny, price doubled. Maui marvelous.

Yelp
Been frequenting Maui for decades to our Marriott resort villa but have only rarely dined at Leilani's. I had a jones for lobster and it was on their menu so we're in. The remodel that had been going for so long is very successful. Tasteful and sleek yet warm island style. Peggy Hopper prints on display here and there reinforce the relax vibes. If they're reproductions, they're extremely well done. Glass partitions open the view over the Au Au channel. Great location to enjoy Maui sunsets and whales during their season. Chairs were very comfortable. Not something you might not pay attention until it's wrong. These are very comfy. Staff are quick and attentive, obviously proud of their level of service. Wine list touches on new and old world. Ours tonite the Mont Gravet rosé of cinsault. I'm familiar with cinsault as part of many Provençal blends so this single varietal was a first. Fresh berry fruit-forward palate, hint of white flowers, balanced acidity and slight touch of salinity in a lingering finish. Great to balance the richness of the lobster and butter to come. We appreciate the sparkling water option comes in reusable/recycleable aluminum. Two Tristan lobster tails arrived with clarified butter and carrots roasted til just tender yet preserving the crunchy sweet interiors. Texture of the tails was firm but delicate with subtle sweetness. Two 3-4oz tails makes a good portion. The Maui Fresh salad of local greens, pickled beets and goat cheese is lightly dressed to not overpower the delicacy of the greens. Lower level is the Beach Bar serving casual dishes with live music in the evening. Prices are typical of the resort area and you'll drop a Ben or so for two with wine and tip. Reservations on OpenTable or call the restaurant. Is nice to be back. Joe Bob says Leilani's will get you lei'd

Yelp
The view from this ocean-side restaurant is beautiful. You can sit either in the bar, or the restaurant. If you want to sit in the restaurant, reservations are highly recommended. We weren't very hungry because we ate a late lunch, so we decided to split one of the entrees. The one we selected was the rib and chicken plate that had local pork ribs, with sambal BBQ sauce, as well as huli huli chicken, French fries, and jicama slaw ($29). It was large enough for both of us and we enjoyed it very much. We could also easily hear the very nice live singing coming from the bar, which is on the first level (there are no windows). The ribs were meaty and had an excellent sauce. You can't go wrong with any pork product in Hawaii. The chicken was breaded and juicy, with a good flavor. The coleslaw and fries were well made. As is usual, it was expensive when you add a drink (alcoholic for my wife; soda for me), tip and tax. Even with only one entree and one mixed drink, it was over $69 for the meal. However, this is on par with other restaurants near resorts. Lailani's is a short three minute walk from the Maui Westin.

Yelp
4.5 stars. Went for burger special on Wednesday but instead of beer ordered a bottle of Veuve champagne. Unfortunately we went to order a second bottle and they didn't have any left. This is when I found out the corkage fee is $20 if they don't serve that bottle and since they were out of Veuve I walked to the ABC store bought a chilled bottle for $88 including tax and we paid $20 for corkage and came out ahead burger paired perfectly with it as we listened to live music until sunset. Solid experience.

Yelp
Came by around 2pm and was seated downstairs in a nice corner table. Hubby had a good view of the beach (I'm too short), and we were also entertained by nice music. I ordered my usual shrimp and crab (louie) salad. Hubs ordered a combo plate of some sort. Then we challenged ourselves to eat a hula pie. We killed it!! Love this place. Only 4 stars cuz their portions got smaller - still delicious though.
google avatar

Mlu D.

Yelp
The family wanted some pica pica, and we ended up here. They have two areas upstairs for fine dining and 1st level. Well, we needed to go to the 2nd floor, as the sound of prime ribs pulled us up. They had the best prime rib and ribeye. The calamari it's a neeyyy well the seafood hot pot um okay guess. The staff are friendly even when we are kinda loud.
google avatar

Vanessa W.

Yelp
Best prime rib we've had. Get it Texas style. I had a deep sea fish, very delicious too. Our server was friendly and had great recommendations. Certainly a must in Maui. Keeping all the beautiful people of Maui in my prayers.
google avatar

Tina K.

Yelp
Service and location = 5 stars! The view is amazing - I would highly recommend you dine in during sunset. Our waiter was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, and funny! The food and drinks here are fine, but they are quite over-priced. You truly are paying for the location. We were not impressed with the food until the hula pie came out. DONT SKIP THE HULA PIE! It was perfect and large enough to share.
google avatar

Lila C.

Yelp
The shrimp & crab salad was so good definitely a 5 star salad! Fresh shrimp and crab with fresh veggies, with a hint of lemon and pineapple, just delicious! The music man did a great job singing nice songs. We enjoyed eating here and had a good time. Good food, nice service, and great music, reasonable prices, which makes you feel this is Maui with a good impression.
google avatar

Tara M.

Yelp
Had lunch here today for the first time. We had chicken wings, fish tacos and fried chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious. Restaurant is steps from beach and open/airy. Service was fast and friendly.
google avatar

Marie M.

Yelp
Our experience here was lovely. We were treated quickly and able to choose are own seats at the bar. There is a wonderful view of the ocean behind and live music playing. We got a taro burger and a big kahuna burger. Both were delicious. Our bartender/server Joshua was kind and quick. Will be back
google avatar

Sophie V.

Yelp
Since I was 9 years old whenever I visit Whalers, we eat at either Hula Grill or Leilani's. The food is great at both but Leilani's has a fancier atmosphere and a little classier spin on their dishes. Lunch and Dinner here are both great! We've never had a meal or drink we didn't love at Leilani's. Sunset time is extra special here Always great service, kind, friendly and helpful staff! Thanks for being such an amazing place to eat even after all the Covid craziness Leilani's!!
google avatar

Vivian P.

Yelp
Solid food and drinks with a beautiful view! This is our second time coming here in a row and we were not let down. The food is consistently good, and you really can't go wrong with anything you order. The garlic shrimp pasta was good, but slightly bland without the shrimp. The fish of the day was really good - the wine reduction was divine! I got a side order of the garlic shrimp which was really flavorful! The rib and chicken plate was good - juicy but slightly dry. Not pictured was the hula pie which is essentially ice cream but was very good. The service was good - even though our server was busy, she made sure to come by periodically to check in on us. The food did take a very long time to come, however. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice dinner out!
google avatar

Shaun W.

Yelp
If you can. Snag the server Grace (hope I got the name right) anyway. She was an amazing server. Hit us with all the specials and the surf and turf was bomb. The pineapple Mai Tais were epic. And yea did not disappoint. Again thanks Grace.
google avatar

Juliana C.

Yelp
WHAT A SPOT! We are so glad we stopped in here. We split the ceviche to start, it was good, nothing crazy special but if you like ceviche you'll like this! Then the star of the meal, the Hot Pot... don't let the name deter you (because it's hot out and you might think you don't want a hot dish...) it is AMAZING. Competes with any cioppino out there. Order this and ask for extra bread for the sauce! My husband and I devoured it. The star of the NIGHT though was this REMARKABLE sunset off their balcony!! Top or bottom deck, doesn't matter, Leilani's does it right! Pick a clear night and make a reservation 30 mins before sunset and you'll be graced with this incredible view right before your entree is served (pro tip!)
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
Food is always good here, we've been coming for the past 15 years. Ambiance this year was interesting. Weather and things aside there is a tent encampment on Kaanapali in front of the restaurant and I can't think of anything that says Ohana more than allowing this. I hate that it has to be but you'd never see that at a beach side restaurant in another state. We pray for Maui and hope it can heal quickly
google avatar

Cudi T.

Yelp
Back for an encore, started with the Coconut Shrimp for a fantastic pupu. The weapons of choice for dinner were the Hurricane Ahi bowl, fresh catch fish tacos and the vegetarian Moku roots taro patty burger(with cheese) with fries. Unanimous from all 3 entrees the Hurricane Ahi bowl reigned supreme. From the pickled vegetables and the amazing sauces to the crispness of the ahi filet, it was amazing. All food came out hot and fresh and wait staff was attentive and great. There was live music by a Grammy award winning artist George Kahumoku Jr while the sunset which was an added delight for the experience. Patio seating is the way to go for you lunch or dinner needs.
google avatar

Tom F.

Yelp
Best view available for an afternoon of drinking and sharing small plates until the sun went down 35 feet from the ocean. We got a table just before shift change and they didn't miss a beat. Wonderful service, great food, and drinks to suit the varied tastes in our party. We had such a good time, the next night we went back to the upstairs for a more elegant dinner in the dining room. The sesame tuna was perfectly seared and of course we finished with a hula pie!
google avatar

Kyle P.

Yelp
Love this spot. Dining out on the lanai, with the sun setting over Kaanapali is magical. The food is great here - on our most recent dinner, I had the sesame crusted ahi, which was delicious. Chased that down with a few mai tais, which also were great and my drink of choice when on the island. We started with the seafood tower, which was fresh, and tasty. Leilani's is definitely a must when in Kaanapali.
google avatar

Sara H.

Yelp
This place was delicious! We found it through a Yelp search and all thought the food was wonderful. The only thing we wish we would've known prior, was that the full menu is not available until 4 PM each day and for lunch, the beach bar is the only option available. I do think this information is listed on their website and we overlooked it. The service was very slow. The ambience was awesome, it was beachfront and not sure what else else you could ask for!
google avatar

Kellianne H.

Yelp
We walked in with no reservations - though would recommend if you wanted to sit immediately. The salad and the seared ahi were very fresh. The real winner was the ice cream chocolate pie. YUM.
google avatar

Paulette C.

Yelp
After a hike we decided to get a drink here. Well the drink turned into dinner and a birthday celebration. My friend has MANY food allergies but was able to enjoy the yummy macadamia hummus, huge salad and a drink. My friend and I split a salad and fish tacos. Our wonderful server brought out a huge slice of Hula Pie with extra fudge on the bottom. It was PERFECT!
google avatar

Jessie A.

Yelp
Dreaming of this dinner spot! We came here our first night in Maui and it did not disappoint. The wait times can get long so recommend making reservation especially if you want outdoor seating. Our sunset view was PERFECT and definitely added to the ambiance of our meal. The sauce in the shrimp pasta was so delish and the prime rib meal I still dream about. You can't come to Leilani's and not order a hula pie for dessert. We are counting down the days to be back in Maui and visit here again!
google avatar

GiGi D.

Yelp
Mediocre at best, especially for the price. The wings were perfectly crispy and naked (the way I asked) but absolutely NOT worth $19. For $19 I should have gotten at least 10. And the tuna sashimi.... $22 for basically paper thin ahi. It was good but it kind of felt like I didn't even eat anything. My friend got the fish tacos and she thought "meh".
google avatar

Kat K.

Yelp
Fantastic dinner spot with incredible views, great service, and delicious food options! We ordered the Coconut Shrimp as an appetizer and enjoyed very tender Filet Mignon for dinner. The bacon mashed potatoes and seasoned veggies were perfect sides. I highly recommend Leilani's, located in Whalers Village, Kaanapali Maui. Aloha!
google avatar

Lynne P.

Yelp
We started and ended our vacation dinners at Leilani's. One because we love the view and the food is good. Two because my husband looks forward to the Hula Pie they serve! The first night we had Mark as a waiter. He was very friendly and efficient. The last night we had Eddie as our waiter - he was also fantastic and gave us great suggestions when I couldn't decide what to order! Favorites: Mai Tai, Daou Cabernet, Maui fresh salad which has greens, beets, goat cheese and macadamia nuts -yummy! Prime rib is delicious and I shared that and the Maui fresh salad with my husband the first night, plenty to eat. Second night I was very hungry so I ordered the Rib and chicken plate with just ribs made two different ways and mashed potatoes vs the fries. Forgot to take a picture of the ribs but they were fall off the bone tender and the sauces were both really good!
google avatar

Anthony S.

Yelp
We really enjoy Leilani's on the beach as the food is always good, especially the coconut shrimp and the Korean ribs, not quite as spicy as they are at the sister restaurant Dukes.
google avatar

Keoni W.

Yelp
the food and drinks were good and view was awesome. servers was checking and making sure we were doing fine
google avatar

Yelp
We went here for dinner today. Had the coconut shrimp. Also had the mahi mahi others had the shrimp pasta. They were all good
google avatar

Yelp
Nice atmosphere. Quality food. However, we were missing our mixed greens on the Beet salad. The special fish of the day curry was healthy.
google avatar

Cameronc C.

Yelp
Really awesome servers and pretty good food! I only went once even though my hotel was right next door but they really nailed my 9pm craving for a Cobb Salad and a basket of fries
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Hawaii! The sunset view from here is just breath-taking. And the food was delicious! Our waitress was very nice and friendly. It's crazy that we traveled to Hawaii all the way from New York, and it just so happens that the waitress had attended the same high-school as me! What a coincidence! We shared the Macadamia Nut Hummus for appetizer and it was so delicious that we finished it in a hurry because we couldn't have enough of it! It came with a side of taro chips that went perfectly with the hummus. I ordered the Snapper from their Special menu. It was just amazing! It came with a coconut purple molokai sweet potato mash and a yellow curry emulsion that was just super delicious combined with the fish. I would order that dish again if they offered it on their regular menu! This is a restaurant that I highly recommend visiting. Be sure to make reservations around sunset time!
google avatar

Yelp
Love the atmosphere love the food great service! Every fish dish there is absolutely delicious The salads are outstanding. You need to get the papaya dressing.

Yelp
Glad they were open after the Lahaina fires. Great service. Nice beach front sitting area. Live music Good burger Good calamari Mahalo for staying open

Yelp
A magical evening and delicious meal -- we were big fans of our dinner at Leilani's! We were here celebrating my parent's 30th Anniversary and they made them feel very special. Not to mention, the views and ambiance are truly spectacular. I have celiac so I adhere to a gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free diet. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me figure out what my options were. To start, I enjoyed a POG slushie and sipped some of my husband's POG seltzer- both of which were excellent. For dinner, I chose the grilled filet mignon. I wasn't able to have the gremolata or bacon mashed potatoes that came with it, so I enjoyed the local vegetables and roasted broccoli (a special) instead. They were fabulous and I loved my meal! To celebrate my parents, they brought out a slice of hula pie, and I was shocked to learn they had a GF DF SF slice of Lilikoi Pono Pie for me to enjoy! It was Hana breadfruit inspired, Maui honey, Kula strawberries, nut crust, gluten free, no refined sugar or dairy. Truly incredible and the highlight of my vacation! Thank you, Leilani's, for such a special meal and great accommodations!

Yelp
Great restaurant right on the beach! Brittany our server was so sweet and polite and had great & fast service. All of our food was so delicious! We had the Seafood Cocktail which was such an interesting flavor and a little sweet but delicious. We also had the guac and salsa, the salsa was smooth and delicious, the guac was a little boring, just avocado. I had the bento box which was SO much food so if ur thinking about ordering this, you can def split it with a partner. The salads here were delicious as well. We also had live music playing. Overall just an awesome place, pretty pricey, but I would come back again.

Yelp
Great food, beer and service at Leilani's on the beach. Right off the walking path along the beach. Conveniently located near major hotels and condos. Service is fast and friendly. Come and enjoy some food and drinks with an ocean view.

Yelp
This place is great, in many ways.... First of all the restaurant itself is massive, and the view is amazing! The server was very personable and accommodating. The food was spectacular, I had the special a Hawaiian red snapper with mash asparagus and truffle sauce . The drinks were delicious and each had a unique flavor the coco martini was spectacular! this was our best food experience so far on Maui and we've been here since 2018. My boyfriend is a chef and super picky, he said that the filet mignon was one of the best he's ever had. So...

Yelp
This was such a beautiful restaurant overlooking the beach. We had a late reservation, and it was drizzling and windy outside, so we opted to sit inside on the upper deck of the restaurant. Below us was the open patio where there was live music. After we placed our order, my friend and I walked downstairs to enjoy the music. 7 times Grammy Awards winner George Kahumoku was performing live and dedicated a song to us, so we felt special! We ordered the following dishes to share and can say that we absolutely loved every dish! Ahi Poke Bowl Fried Calamari Steaks Maui Fresh Salad Herb Roasted Fresh Fish Parmesan Crusted Fresh Fish Garlic Shrimp Pappardelle For drinks, we ordered the Pog Slushie, Ginger Hoku, and DR Juice. The Pog Slushies came in really cute coconut shells that you could take home as a souvenir. They were pretty to look at and were delicious! Our waitress was very pleasant and we had a lovely dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
This was a great meal on my trip, and I would say it's a classic resort-vibe seafood restaurant overlooking the water. The charm of this place is really the views and the setting--while the food is good, the high price is definitely more for the ambience. We were very lucky to get seating without a reservation (we were just a party of 2 though early on a weeknight), but otherwise I definitely recommend getting a reservation. I had the seared ahi, which I thought was very solid. The quality of the fish was great, though the overall portion of the whole plate was a bit small. The poke was also a bit small. Our server was very kind and we did not feel rushed despite the fact that there was a line by the time we left. After the meal, you can walk along the beach path or take the shuttle.

Yelp
We ate at the beach bar area of Leilani's and had great and quick service. Our server was really friendly and kind. The hummus was so yummy and filling, but the standout was the coconut shrimp. It had a yummy dipping sauce that tasted like curry. Thank you Leilani's!
