Leisure Life Hotel and restaurant

Great place with great rooms and a kitchen. Beds were clean and the rooms stayed super warm during the cold night. You might be greated with some nice pups looking for attention. Was able to stargaze on the bench outside on the field. Very memorable place.

My wife always does meticulous planning for our vacations. She chose this resort over many other options in the area. She reserved a room here in May 2025 for our stay in September 2025 and prepaid for the room. When we showed up around 8:30pm on the day of our reservation, we were informed that all rooms were taken and we did not have a room. We were immediately issued a refund but with it being tourist season in Maine, there were no rooms available anywhere in the area. We ended up driving an hour and a half south to Waterville and paid $50 dollars more than we had paid for our room at Leisure Life. Reserve a room here at your own risk!

Very unusual place to stay----but very clean and comfortable! The beds were very comfortable and the price for it all was good.

The room was very clean. The pillows was as soft as clouds. The people that own it was very nice. Great internet service we we're very happy with it. The price was good I was very happy with. They have 2 golden retrievers and they were sweeties we played ball with them an had lots of fun.

Nice clean motel. Our room had a kitchen with full size fridge, micro, coffee maker, stove top, dishes. Comfy bed, good A/C. The room was on the ground floor, was basically accessible for wheelchair but no grab bars in the bathroom. The parking lot was dirt. The manager was nice and friendly.

Highly recommend Leisure Life! Whether you are planning a short weekend get away, a family reunion, wedding, etc! I had my wedding here in Sept 2022 and it was absolutely perfect. The views from the ceremony were breath taking. The owners of Leisure Life are 2 of the kindest people you will meet! They made every single guest feel welcome. They were very accommodating and a large part in why the day went flawlessly. The rooms, space and atmosphere is great for the price. Don’t overlook this place!

Excellent location in Greenville junction. Affordable, great food at the on site restaurant. I do suggest getting a reservation. The rooms were above expectations for the price. The shower had good pressure and the water was clean. My bed was made and room picked up daily. I have zero complaints! I would totally recommend it to anyone whether traveling alone, a couple of the guys, or the family.

Stopped here for one night. We were warmly welcomed. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel is a little dated. Owners have a dog that is off-leash... very polite dog, respected our dog's boundaries. Ordered dinner from the restaurant on site, the food was hot and fresh. Great location for exploring the Moosehead region. Had a small cooking range, refrigerator, and microwave in the room.

Trailside Restaurant- Delicious food! From appetizers to dinner! shrimp appetizer with banana peppers & siracha on the side. Baked salmon with a horseradish dressing coated with seasoned panko bread crumbs & baked haddock with butter and breadcrumbs too! We were luck to get in without a reservation! Open Thursday thru Saturday! Sweet waitress too. Highly recommend

A quiet, clean and restful stay. Leisure Life Resort is close to an abundance of activities. The kitchenette is well equipted and the grocery is about a mile down the road for do-it-your-selfers. Many charming restaurants, including the one at the lodge, but get there early, because they are packed! A beautiful country vacation awaits you! Don`t forget to get tickets for the Mooosehead lake Katadin boat adventure.

Unreliable. We made reservation, received confirmation, planned our vacation, and then Leisure Life cancelled the reservation. Unbelievable but true. This "hidden gem" should be well hidden.

Typical north woods restaurant experience. Slow service at popular times like 6:30. Average forgettable food. Pricing consistent with other local establishments. Minimal views.

What a hidden gem in Greenville! We visited the Trailside Restaurant on the recommendation of a local who stated, "It's off the beaten path, and the food is creative and superb." You don't have to tell me twice. As we drove in, we realized that the Trailside Restaurant is part of the Leisure Life "resort" complex. People, it's plain, and it's utterly charming. The decor is old, the place is clean, and the food was excellent. The dining room is large, and the facility is open year round to accommodate winter travelers. Fresh scallops were on the menu, so my husband ordered his baked. His meal came with a salad, baked potato, and a vegetable. The salad dressings are all made on site. I can vouch for the homemade raspberry vinaigrette -- divine! I saw that a grilled salmon salad was on the menu and asked the server if I could substitute scallops, and she cheerfully said it was okay. I have to say, we have had scallops in upscale restaurants that were overcooked, dry, flavorless and disappointing. Not at the Trailside. These scallops were succulent, juicy, and bursting with flavor. They were so fresh we could taste the ocean. Please, if you're in Greenville, give the Trailside a whirl. It's no frills, family friendly, attentive wait staff, and the best meal I had the entire vacation.

Our non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. Only one mattress had a mattress pad. I'm really glad we only booked one night. I wouldn't stay here again.

We've been coming here for years and the food has only gotten better!!! Steak Tips were delicious and done to perfection! My husband had the Chicken Panini and loved it!! Good beer selection too! Wonderful, friendly staff!

fine dinning here at leisure life. exquisite food and amazing service. beautiful view! very kid friendly also. an amazing vibe coming out of the kitchen with kevin as the head cook.

For the most part, we stay at our place - but when camp is closed, we stay here. Not luxury - but comfortable and reasonable. Great restaurant and the place to be if you're up for the annual Sled Dog races

My family and I headed up to Greenville Maine to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage and we had a very nice stay at the Leisure Life Resort. The owners are outgoing and friendly, the rooms are clean and well maintained and the restaurant was just what we needed - homecooked comfort food always hits the spot! From the building that housed our rooms we had panoramic views of Moosehead Lake and the mountains - spectacular! Very affordable and worth the trip! PS, it would be an excellent venue to host a wedding or special event, as there is on site accommodations, plenty of parking, a full service restaurant/bar and unforgettable views!
