Super delicious and freshly made! Eclairs are flaky, with a sweet cream and chocolate topping - I usually don’t love cream filled pastries, but this was so yum. The red velvet cake is delicious, and so light so it doesn’t make you feel too full.

Google
Best place to have eclair in Porto! Also the milkshake 🤤 👍must recommend their eclairs …

Wow. Wife craving chocolate cake. Honeymoon. Uber eats. Happy wife. I’m not a dessert guy…but we ordered a few eclairs as well and DAMN. Cake was 10/10. Eclairs 10/10. Shop was out of some original order items but they called me directly! Great service, great sweets. Bravo.

I love this place, I often go to have coffee and eclair. It's delicious and has a beautiful view.

Good coffee and delicious bagel. I would say the guy staff is very sweet and he kept eye on my stuff as I was feeling unwell and went to the toilet. And asked me if needed to help.. that's so warm service. Highly recommended.

This was recommended by a Portuguese friend. Over the moon that she mentioned it to us. Famous for its eclairs. These celebrity items include classic (chocolate), lemon, caramel and many other flavours. Most of them have soft icing on top, but there is one with a brittle topping. They sell other sweet things like cakes and Berliner (doughnuts) too. We got a menu (Brunch Guloso) which included a croissant filled with Chantilly cream, a sneclair, orange juice and a cafe espresso. The croissant is not like a french one, as it's more like a brioche rather than flaky pastry. We thought it might be odd with cream inside, but we loved it. The sneclair is a savoury eclair and it's was an outstanding invention. We had it with eggs and bacon. It was a light meal, which was exactly what we needed. Then we had 2 small eclairs (so we could try more flavours rather than having just 1 big one). We got a classic and passion fruit and mango. They were nice. It's pretty much like an original (i.e. French) eclair, but slightly wider. We liked them very much nonetheless. In all we spent €10,90 and think it was value for money. Paid by credit card. Plenty of seating inside and outside just before 1.45pm on a Tuesday in September. Definitely worth a visit for tourists! They have other outposts if you can't make it over here. Every flavour eclair and drink we got was delicious. I wish they had all the flavours available for me to have tried them all!!!!

Google
Try the eclaire with crispy chocolate and prepare for a religous experience. Pastel de natas are good to but do not miss out on the eclaire. 👌

Yelp
I had a custard filled eclair with a cappuccino. The cappuccino was average. The sign says they've been making eclairs since 1920, and I was told eclairs in Portugal are as good as France, but not here. The dough was dry. Maybe because we came in the afternoon and it had been sitting in the case, but it was disappointing. The place was clean and cozy and service was good.

Yelp
We were trying the Pasteis de Nata next door at padaria riberio, and we noticed this shop with a sign indicating a century of history (regarding their eclairs)... and seeing that they have Pasteis de Nata... wellll we got to try! I'm glad we did so. First the eclair (given it's the highlight of this place), was very delicious - I can see why it's been open since 1920. The pasties de Nata did surprise me, in fact I would even say it's better than their next door Nata. I would give it a 7.7/10 in the 10-grading scale.

Yelp
This is a lovely bake shop and cafe in central Porto. Come for the delicious eclairs and a coffee. If you're getting takeout, simply order at the counter -- but if you wanted to lounge in the cafe (seating indoors and outdoors), then first grab a seat and order from the table. Overall refreshing and tasty!

Yelp
A nice pastry shop close by to all the action. It's got plenty of seating and the staff is friendly. They have a variety of classic eclairs to choose from as well as some seasonal specialties. Their regular sized eclairs are pretty big, but they also offer smaller versions which are nice so you can try a few different ones. I got a coffee and a small dark chocolate eclair. Simple and delicious. Great way to start the morning off. If you're tried of morning natas this is a great alternative.

Yelp
Hmm nothing special about their eclairs imo. Tried the classic as well as salted caramel. The salted caramel has a chocolate cream filling

Yelp
Éclair? Yes, please. A stop on our food tour of Porto, we had two of their half-size as a sweet break. Leitaria obviously started as a milk shop / creamery and they do still sell some milk and cream but they definitely don't deliver it door to door any more. Now it's right here. We had one lemon and one chocolate and there was an extra pot of fresh whipped cream to top them. No, not from a can. This is the real stuff. The eclairs were in. sane. Absolutely delicious. Hard to choose which I liked better but the tartness of the lemon definitely rocked my taste buds. The shop is in a part of Porto that's starting to be called "Temptation Square" because there are other pastry and desserts here. But it's Leitaria da Quinta do Paço that you want. Yum! Yelp
I ordered a hazelnut éclair here that was one of the most unique and delicious things I've had. Highly recommend. I also ordered a cappuccino which was decent. This is the first place I've been since arriving in Porto and it's in a very nice location. Great place to stop if you're touring around the city!

Yelp
The eclairs are to die for. Filled with fresh whip cream so they are so light unlike French eclairs! And the dough is light as well. Like air pockets filled with heaven and covered in chocolate (I got the classic). Didn't have a chance to try more since it was closed when I went back )= I almost cried when I saw the lights off on my last night in Porto. They also sell other things like flavored butter, pastries, and cheesecakes, and the cafe menu has sandwiches, salads, smoothies, coffee, etc. ATMOSPHERE Tables outside and inside. Take a seat and they will come to your table to help you. It's always weird to me in europe when you just seat yourself, we're not used to that in the US. Oh chocolate eclairs, until we meet again...

Yelp
I always thought eclairs were solely French but here in Porto they are also big business and have become known as the Doce do Porto (Porto's sweet). They have two sizes (small or large) and various fillings and coverings ranging from the classic cream filled chocolate covered eclairs to lemon, passion fruit, red berries and mint-chocolate pistachio. For those without a sweet-tooth (shock horror) there also sell savoury eclairs known as "sneclairs". Apart from the famous eclairs they are also famous for their Bolas de Berlim (Similar to Berliners).

Yelp
When done well, I'm a fan of eclairs, so when I stopped in here and saw a great variety of eclair flavors, I was quite intrigued. Unfortunately looks were deceiving in this case. Of the two I tried, neither were bad, but neither were great either. In fact, this is more of a two star in terms of the two eclairs I had, but the service was nice and the coffee was pretty good. The cafe seating outside front was nice as well. They have a number of other types of pastries to choose from, including some savory options. Maybe some of the other stuff they have is the way to go.

Yelp
Inflexible, they can not change anything on menu, but they can change the products without telling you and do not offer other options. Waiters are rude.

Dyiz L.

Yelp
The eclairs are amazing and fresh. Get them in the morning because they run out by night time. I loved the classic ones and he berry ones the most

Yelp
I am not too big on desserts, so the fact that I am a fan is huge. the dessert is not too sweet and just perfect !
google avatar

Yelp
Quite nice leiteria where they make delicious pastries, especially the classic "eclair". Terrace set on a nice square.
google avatar

Yelp
Nicely made cream puffs but the flavour glazes are way too sweet. I wish they sold a plain version. We had the lemon and chocolate as the classic flavours. You really need a coffee to make it go down easier. If you like sweet, this is the place for you. For me, it was too heavy handed.

Yelp
Right in downtown Porto you will find this amazing place for a nice coffee and a delicious éclair! Unlike most you might see in Pastelarias over Portugal, these are filled with wiped cream instead of the usual egg cream. They have several top coats being my favourite the artisanal caramel! The place is usually too crowded for me so I have those amazing éclairs to go. Only a few months ago I tried the jams they also sell and was quite happy with the outcome of that purchase!

Yelp
Nothing special about their eclair, i've tasted way more better than this. The waiter didn't want to tell me their wifi password, even though they wrote on the menu that there is available wifi, he kept giving me wrong ones
google avatar

Guilio Ñ.

Yelp
An eclair haven! Relaxed neighborhood atmosphere with a lot of sweet temptations! You've been fairly warned :)
google avatar

Yelp
The best eclairs I have ever tasted. I had to go back & buy more! I sat outside in the sunshine as they have a nice al fresco area next to the grass & statue. Far enough from the road & bus stop. My friends grandmother used to take her there when she was a child, so now I have had the full experience!

Yelp
Eclair cream is light and airy which was awesome. I tried the caramel and chocolate but preferred the caramel.

Sabrina T.

Yelp
This is the worst place to eat ever. I ordered three times but was told three times no food to serve. If you don't have the food on menu to serve, please just remove them or close the restaurant. Deceiving customers like that - telling them no food to serve after you started serving drinks and made them can't leave - this is seriously a fraudulent act.

Yelp
Surprised and disappointed by the high rating. Nothing was good - neither the cocolate eclair, nor the walnut cake, which looked much better than it tasted. Cappuccino was simply atrocious.

Nena L.

Yelp
delicious coffee and eclaires, young and trendy guests, in between a lot of other nice bars and cafes.
