Huge crowded campsite (in July), with facilities that are missing some basic equipment (e.g a hook for the towel in the shower cabin) or very minimalistic (3 stoves, 2 sinks and a microwave in a 6m2 kitchen). Otherwise the lakeshore is beautiful, there are playgrounds/minigokf/.. on site and the attraction park right next to the camp. Not bad but not at the top of the list for our camping style.

A beautiful campsite laid out in terraces facing Lake Siljan. The service centre sells the most important things. The service house is okay. At the end of the season the service houses were largely closed, so the only open one looked accordingly. A pity because it detracts from the overall impression.|Very close to Lake Siljan with access via the sandy beach. Beautiful walks along the lake at the campsite.

A great place to stay in the nature and just on shore of the beautiful lake Siljan. We stayed in the Glamping with beautiful views of the lake next to the waterfront. The staff is young and helpful. Everyone is trying to do their best. When I told them that umbrella at our tent was broken, they replaced it within two hours. Which is impressive for such a huge camp. Even more impressive was that when our taxi didn't arrive, one of the team members agreed to take us in her own car to the station so that we didn't miss the train to Stockholm. She refused to take any money and even my proposal to buy her a takeaway lunch. Unfortunately, I didn't think of asking her name but I am sure all her team mates know who she is. If you want to do it in a Swedish way and enjoy nature with good service, stay at Leksand Resort.

We were very excited when we arrived and the kids were looking forward to have a few nice days…..|When we asked, we were told that the summer land was already closed, but anyways before we checked in, no one told us that everything in the resort was closed as well, except for the reception. On the beach, we collected rubbish and broken glass so that the kids wouldn't get hurt. It seemed as if no one was responsible. We booked for 4 nights but left after one night because everything was already closed. If we had been told that before, we wouldn't have come in the first place.|We arrived with our mobile home and got a spot in the first row with lakeview but that was the only god thing at all. |Really a big disappointment.

Large camping place with more than enough room for caravans, camper vans and large tents. Play areas and facilities galore, a live show a few evenings a week, restaurant and kiosk with grill, swimming pool and long slide. The kids have had so much fun and can run around and play. No real need to go outside the camp often as plenty to keep everyone occupied. Only drawback for us was the fact that the 2 advertised mini golf courses were actually 1. They halved the 18 holes into 2 themes. Bit disappointed tbh. Overall, great place to be for both adults and kids.

Very beautiful nature camping & resort! It has many beautiful places, The things that got my eyes was how much it was fresh and clean too, The house was clean when we got there! The pool was clean too, everywhere, Apart from the Leksand playground which costed 465 kr / person, it was worth, due to you can do and ride everything there free, but the zip-line activity was not included. I recommend you to visit it, it’s 3 hours from Stockholm/Sweden👍🏻

We stayed here late August which is shoulder season here so it was relatively quiet, lots of Swedish retirees walking their dogs! Why is it usually the women who do the dog walking??!!|It’s a beautiful spot by the side of Lake Siljan -well spaced out camping / caravan and cabin areas. We were booked in a 2 bed cabin but were upgraded free of charge to a three bed - one of the Tallbaken 2 cabins - this was huge with upstairs 2 bedrooms plus toilet and indoor seating area as well as outdoor balcony with table and chairs - downstairs another seating area, dining area and kitchen , outside picnic table seating area with access via separate kitchen door, downstairs toilet, separate shower room with inbuilt sauna which worked great. The downstairs room is two bunk beds, the upstairs rooms have two singles in one - zip link to make a double, other room is a bunk bed over a three quarter bed. Also sofa bed in upstairs seating area. The cabin was clean and well maintained and very warm. |The site is right next to Somarland which is a kids adventure park with a couple of huge water slides and other stuff - was closed when we were there as it was after the Swedish schools went back on 15th August - I imagine the site would be a lot busier in high summer but the campsite do seem to have a strict policy of quiet after 10 pm in the evening. |The bathing area and beach is very nice - late August the water was still easily warm enough to swim in . The crazy golf was fun and there was no extra charge for this. There is a lovely lakeside trail into Leksand itself - about 1.5 miles which goes through a wooded area. Worth the walk to go to the Siljan Konditori! |Use of the laundry was free - you normally have to book a slot but as it was shoulder season reception let us go anytime. The machines even add the soap for you which was a new one for me!|All in all a very pleasant and well managed site. Only thing I would say is take note of reduced reception opening hours - they close at 1600 usually but on the Friday they closed at 1400 and were not open when we left the site at 1100 on Sat. They did text us in Swedish with all the relevant codes to get on site and to open the key safe to find our envelope with info and hut key. A little work with Google translate to figure out what we were supposed to do, but all good.

Great place for the whole family, The showers/toilets gets a litlebit messy between the cleanings. But after all there are a lot of people here. Recommends the place.
