Called up to make a booking — spoke to a guy we suggested just do takeaway instead. Website says they open at 5:30, but he tells me “Nah, not till 5:45.” Little did he know… we were parked right out the front, watching him seat people like it was a pasta convention. Anyway, we let it slide and ordered: 🍝 Spaghetti King Prawn – $40 🍜 Pappardelle Boscaiola – $38 Portion sizes? Below average — barely enough to feed one person. The pasta had the texture of an old insole shoe, and the prawns tasted like they’d given up on life halfway through cooking. Still had the back straps on too — classy touch if you enjoy dental work with dinner. For nearly eighty bucks, we expected at least a decent meal. Taste buds were not impressed and left the chat — and neither was the car parked out front watching the pre-5:45 dinner crowd get better treatment. Wouldn’t rush back. Might swing by just to see if the prawns have recovered.

I really like the whole aesthetic of this spot! For starters, the food is incredible and it is super authentic.. The Italian brothers who run and operate the place are very friendly and make you feel welcome at this joint. Cocktails are tasty and my favourite was the squid ink pasta with crab… Highly recommend and will be going back there the next time I’m in Brunswick!

WOW! The fish special, the pasta, the margaritas…… chef’s kiss. Honestly, so worthwhile travelling from the GC to try this beautiful italian restaurant. Pasta is so fresh, & if I didn’t mention already, the margarita was FABULOUS! Perfect for both a date night or family outing. Thank you xxx

I tried focaccia for the first time in my life, and it was so delicious! The food was excellent, and the service was satisfying. It's definitely a place I want to visit again. :)

Cute spaghetti bar with fun and bustling atmosphere and friendly relaxed service. Burrata and prawn pasta were both fresh and delicious, though both could have used some more olive oil, garlic and seasoning etc. overall a lovely and delicious experience.

Absolutely amazing meals and dessert. We enjoyed every single mouthful! Second time at this restaurant and it was even better than our last visit. Highly recommend!

Pleasant spot, friendly service, nice food but quite pricey for what you get, plus no real indoor seating- on a chilly night, an overhead heater when you’re basically eating outside isn’t ideal. Plus a 6.15pm booking and they were packing up the restaurant around us at 8pm, likely as it wasn’t v busy. A not cheap dinner ($80 each for meal & 2 drinks) and in the end, felt rushed. Wouldn’t recommend for a winter mid week dinner, sure it’s better when warmer & more relaxed.

Really good Italian food in Brunswick Heads. The Gnocchi Sorrentino, the spaghetti with king prawns, the sauteed vegetables and the focaccia were all excellent.
