Visiting from Canada and had to come to the Lemke Brewery as we are Canadian Lemcke’s. Very kind service, delicious schnitzel, sausages and ribs. Tasted a variety of beers and Helles was the favourite. Bringing our family back home souvenir glasses. Cheers from Canada!

This is our favorite local restaurant in Berlin! We love the location, the atmosphere, the staff, and the quality German food. It feels like home. Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent! We also love that although they serve alcohol, there is no smoking inside the restaurant. Note: If you have kids, you can bring them along! There is a wonderful play area in the back, out of the way.

Very interesting interior. Great service. Decent beer. The only downside was the schnitzel. We made a reservation 4 days in advance. The place was packed. So plan your visit ahead of time. On Friday evening, there was no room to drop an apple. We were warned that we had 20 minutes to place our food order; after that, we would wait a long time for the food. The schnitzel was a bit dry. For the sake of the beer and the interior, I would come back again.

Nice man greeted us upon entering, but the beers we got served (we ordered a tasting) were ridiculously flat. There was a mechanic busy with the taps while we were there, clearly pointing to errors with the taps, yet the server kept telling us there was nothing flat about the beers and it was just the glasses they were served in. All in all ridiculous.

Yelp
I see others are rating this as if it's a fast serve or US restaurant. This is a German pub. Know that in Europe, as a whole, meals are for enjoyment. If you want express or fast service don't be afraid to tell the waiter. We sat and enjoyed our meal after some touring at Charlottenburg Palace and before returning for the garden house tour viewing the mausoleum. We ordered two traditional dishes and split them. was like "home food". It was served (not plated) but it was good. We also got a pretzel because they were calling to us and it's Germany. And we bought two beers for our husband/dad who was working while we toured. For us the service was perfect. It wasn't fast!!! But it wasn't slow. Remember you will need to ask for the check. If you don't, they assume you're still enjoying your experience.

Yelp
This charming restaurant opposite Charlottenburg Palace is well worth a visit. On a beautiful spring day like I experienced, the large outdoor seating area is very pleasant. The staff is hardworking and friendly. I opted for one of the house specialties, the roast beef with onions and spaetzle, which was delicious and of large portions. With the side salad and a large beer, it made for a very satisfying meal.

Yelp
Brauerei Lemke, Berlin walsmeister Weisse The Sherry Bourbon taste and bouquet aroma was smooth in a slightly chilled glass. The texture of the stout was like a fine aged port. As the temperature of the beer increased due to the weather the bourbon flavor separated and stood out ever so slightly increasing the pleasure of the brew. This stout is definitely a must. Bringing back the historical recipes is an exceptional idea. Brauerei Lemke, Berlin walsmeister Weisse - Superb Berliner Weisse - tart not too sweet. A perfect taste and a great Weisse to retain the Berliner Weisse Tradition. Food - Curry Wurst - excellent taste and texture and their homemade pommes with a spin kept the Berlin Cirrywurst tradition alive. Hax mit Krait and kartoffel was awesome - moist tender and very flavorful - almost as getting in Bavaria

Yelp
Brewery and restaurant: that was def my place. Food here was delicious and not expensive at all. I was amazed by the size of the restaurant and how cool the decoration was. It used to be a S-Banh station a few years ago. The menu is not extensive but sure we can find plenty of local food. I went for the currywurst and it was amazing. Big portion, can be easily shared. My friends had some too. As said, they are also a brewery (brauhaus). They hadvea nice set of beers for sale and I took it home with me. Still trying them, they are very good. It cost 24 euros (yes, 24) a box with 12 bottles.

Yelp
Good service, good food and nice location. Not the cheapest place to eat in Berlin, but they offer some nice dishes with a variety of sausages.

Yelp
We ate Haxe and sausages with tasting beer and sour beer. The food and beer were all good and especially the waiter was so nice for us. Sorry not to remember his name but, he was very kind and service was also perfect. Lots of beers are made by Lemke so I felt something special and really enjoyed them. Highly recommend here!

Yelp
Excellent beer brewed both in German and American craft styles. Their Pilsner has a fantastic fresh malt flavor balancing somewhat heavy hops for this style. Our food was solid German fare but fairly expensive. The wurst platter was the best of the four dishes. The crispy pork knuckle was dry and my daughter did not like her vegetarian pasta dish. The staff was very friendly and happy to switch between English and German at our table. My advice is to come for the beer and by all means eat if you are hungry. However, better and less expensive German food can be found close by.

Yelp
First thing I noticed was that the staff were super friendly and helpful. My mom and I had lunch- me a cheese plate and her the bouletten Berlin style. We loved them both! House brewed beer was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely go back!

Yelp
We went for lunch around the start of Oktoberfest so the restaurant was quaintly decorated. The bar is beautiful and there is a lot of really gorgeous brewery equipment to see. The location is great and the space is quite large with outdoor seating. They have a number of beers on tap, we tried the hefeweisen which was solid. I think all of the beers they brew are quite good. I got a sausage plate which I liked a lot, crisp sausage, well seasoned bratkartoffeln and some sauerkraut. We also got a flammkuchen which was very underwhelming and bland. Very nice service and everyone seemed to speak English, which I'm sure helped as there were mostly tourists there.

Yelp
Tasty food at a good price and I really recommend tasting their 6-platter beer. 6 beer á 1dl each with information about each one. Perfect if you enjoy drinking beer! The restaurant overall is very nice with a wooden interior with nice wooden details. If you sit outside you can see Charlottenburg Palace!

Yelp
Sehr gutes Bier! Warme und gemütliche Atmosphäre mit den anderen Beer-Lovers. Man muss nur auf die Bedinung etwas warten.Preise sind ein bisschen gehoben.

Yelp
Brauhaus Lemke has two locations: one near the Schloss Charlottenburg and the other one near Hackescher Markt. Both fantastic places to go visit. There is plenty of seating space which makes it mostly easy to find cozy or rustic seating. It might get really busy on weekends, but whenever I went with friends or my wonderful date I never had any issues. The highlight of this place is the selection on great beer. There is a beer tasting of - i believe - 5 different beers from their micro brewery. Food is fantastic - from pork knuckle to meatball or veal sausage with sweet mustard. Hefty side dishes such as sauerkraut, roasted potatoes or red cabbage. When passing by it seems like it is in the middle of nowhere - but you should never judge its book by its cover now should you? ;)

Yelp
I am a regular customer in this restaurant. I have been going there regularly for about five years. In the last year I have seen the quality of the restaurant go down. Tonight the kitchen was closed. The brewery used to have very hard-working staff who had worked there for years. Suddenly their long-term staff started leaving. Some went to other Lemke locations, but now more and more are leaving. This is a very bad sign when staff can all find better jobs elsewhere. It is really unfortunate, as both the beer and the food were very good before and the staff very hard-working and friendly. It has all the signs of being a management problem right at the top. If that is the case, I hope it gets new management or ownership that will restore its good reputation. It's a pity to see it as it is now.

Yelp
Took some friend's from out of town here after visiting the castle. It was okay! The inside is nice looking because it feels like a genuine cleaned up brauhaus, but that was about it. The food was good but overpriced for what it was. I know that it's because of the locations but it could still stand to be a 1.50-2.50 cheaper. I paid 9euro for a sausage that I can get for 2.50-3euro at the Christmas market right in front of the castle!!! Although, my friend's and I left pleased, I don't think I will be bringing anyone else back there.

Yelp
Sat outside to enjoy the view. Waiter watched us sit down but was apparently too busy talking to other waiter friends. No one ever came by the 10 minutes we sat there. So we left. There is a great hungarian/German restaurant within a block.

Yelp
The worst service I've had in Berlin. It took 30 minute for a bowl of soup that was cold and another 20 to reheat it and then given back in a smaller bowl. We warned two women that sat at our table about the slow service and they laughed and said its always like this. We watched plates being taken to wrong tables, wrong orders and more. Nice location across from the schloss, the beer is okay but there is better and cheaper in the area. Go down Schlossstrasse for better.
