Lemon House

We had a wonderful stay at the Lemon House with Christel and Emma. They were such lovely hosts! Christel knows the island inside out and was always available to share great recommendations at any time. She is incredibly kind and attentive. The accommodation is stunning, and the breakfast was exceptional — made with love and care. We honestly didn’t want to leave, and we’ll definitely be back very, very soon without hesitation.

Our stay at the Lemon House was fantastic. Christel (helped by her daughter Emma) puts her heart and soul into providing guests with a luxury stay. She's also great company and a mine of excellent recommendations on anything local. She helped ensure we saw everything we wanted and her advice on how to visit Mt Etna meant we had a great day. If you want to stay in the area and would like to avoid the expense/hassle of Taormina, then you can't do better than the Lemon House.

Looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway? This is it!||Our weeklong stay with my family was fantastic. The service was exceptional, from the delicious breakfasts to the inviting pool area. Christel and her daughter truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience.||From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. Christel was a perfect host, offering great recommendations for local trips and restaurants, and going the extra mile by handling all the necessary bookings and reservations. She also provided helpful advice on parking. The accommodation was impeccably clean, and the breakfast options were both varied and delicious.||We had an enjoyable week, balancing family time with working remotely, and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

This was the BEST bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. The rooms were beautifully decorated and each so unique. Our room had a beautiful large window with a view of the front yard. The owner Christel is the best kind of person to own the B&B, so bubbly and friendly and helpful with planning day trips from the Lemon House. She would also help us book tables for dinner at fantastic restaurants in Savoca. The breakfast was delicious, so cute with every little fruit and pastry you could want! The entire B&B was incredibly clean and beautiful. Thank you Christel for an unforgettable stay and all your help and suggestions!!

We had a wonderful four-night stay at the Lemon House, be prepared to experience a fabulous Bed & Breakfast! The English home is just exceptional, pristine and full of love. The owner Christel and her lovely teen daughter Emma are truly warm and caring, they make you feel like family right from the start. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the plush bed came with luxurious linens and ours had French doors overlooking the handsome, rectangular turquoise pool. The breakfast was not only beautifully displayed but very tasty, high quality and vast. Emma prepared the best delicious gourmet eggs and great cappuccinos! ; ) Christel is fantastic. A classy lady that speaks almost every language and pays great attention to detail was super helpful with planning our stay in Savoca. She provided us an excellent list of restaurants and beach clubs in the near and kindly helped book all reservations for us. Every place we visited was top notch! Lemon House is about only a 20-min car ride to Taormina, perfect for a day at the beach club or exploring the city and returning home to lovely dinners at the beautiful Sicilian villages. Parking is always available, secure and free of charge on the street just outside the House. Our stay at Lemon House was a very special time and one we will never forget. Thank you Christel and Emma! We spent a really enjoyable week here as a couple. From the first minute we felt warmly welcomed and totally at home in a new environment. Christel and her family are perfect hosts… great recommendations for trips and restaurants… even advice on parking. Respectful and inclusive to all guests. Superbly clean accommodation… delicious choices for breakfast. When our flight home got cancelled last minute, not only did Christel welcome us back, but she rang around hotels and our car hire company to calm our temporary panic. Lemon House deserves more than 5/5!

We had the most marvellous stay here. After a fraught travel where plans went awry (flight cancelled and had to travel two days later), Christel’s hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquility and Christel the perfect hostess. Exceptionally helpful and kind she also sorted out our travel plans when they were disrupted again ( another flight cancelled) and managed to keep us sane ! Her breakfasts are amazing and nothing is too difficult for her. Anything you want to know about Sicily and travelling around she has the knowledge and can switch in and out of many languages at the drop of a hat. A car is essential as you will want to get around this amazing island and see as much as possible and visit the fabulous restaurants she recommends. Thank you so much for really wonderful holiday.
