Lemon&OysterGarden SANGO

Had a quiet and delicious dinner here after a long tourism day. We wanted to eat a lot of oysters and this spot did not disappoint! I highly recommend the house specials and the ajillo, which were all delicious and lovingly prepared. The staff were friendly and courteous. Great music playing was a nice bonus!

Oh wauw, we miss this place. Please go here when you are in Hiroshima. The waiter was amazingly friendly and the cook was so sweet as well. We just kept ordering food 🫣. The gratin oysters and their recommended oysters are wonderful. We also had the lemon cake and sorbet as a dessert, which were also amazing. Enjoy this place!

A little quiet - but it was Tuesday night. Oysters galore and so I had oyster, scallop stew which was delicious This place was recommended to me by my foodie friend and it didn't disappoint

Enjoyable. We reserved a table for 2 the day before, but there would have been room anyway on the Sunday 6.30pm. Had the oysters in cream sauce - excellent. Also liked the oysters with kimchi. My wife enjoyed the pasta lemonade peperchini with mushrooms and oysters. Small place with great cheerful service and useful English spoken.

We stopped by for a drink and a snack beside the river. Lovely view of the river, DELICIOUS Hiroshima oysters. Recommend the bacon wrapped oysters and the lemon butter oysters.

Stopped by for an appetizer and stayed for dinner because the food was amazing and very reasonable for the quality! We ordered 5 dishes and they were all very tasty. Highly recommend the Hiroshima grilled beef brisket and Sautéed oyster with sea urchin and spinach. We are from the Pacific Northwest U.S. Supporting local chef with incredible talent. A great location close to the APA Hotel and JR Hiroshima Station. Hope you are able to enjoy the food as we did. Bon Appetite!

Small oyster restaurant by the river side. Very good oyster dishes cooked western style. We were late for dinner, set meals all sold out. Ordered alacarte, expensive for the small portion served. So we made reservation for lunch next day. Set lunch the next day didn't disappoint us, real value for money. So advice is to make reservation before going. Just a bit surprise they don't serve fresh/raw oyster.

Oh my goodness. Google review is always right! Come early for the set menu! We arrive too late at 8:30pm or 9pm and they were “sold out” of the set menu which would have been an amazing deal. All the oysters are amazing. They don’t have raw oysters but they have grilled, gratin with sauce and fried! We loved all of them! Don’t forget the desert! I almost wanted to order two! The Panna cotta with kiwi sauce (seasonal) was the best ever! TLDR - arrive early for the 3000-5000 JPY set menu which is so worth it! Every single type of oyster they made was amazing!
