It was a great classic dinner in Paris - the onion soup, steak and crème brûlée were 10/10. The place has a good atmosphere, friendly waiters. You feel very comfortable on the street, unlike the restaurants in the center, this area is just as beautiful, but quieter and less crowded in the evening.
But there is a certain moment, if it hadn’t happened, the restaurant would be just a model of service in our eyes. We ordered a medium-rare steak, and they brought a piece that was half well-done, half medium. At first, a manager did not argue with the request to redo, the manager took a look and agreed that the steak had been in the pan for too long. But then the "theatre" began with persuasions that it is difficult to cook meat uniformly, everything depends on the meat, etc. As a result, the steak was redo with the words "then we will not cook it a bit so that it is inside as you requested"...And they brought a blue steak, not medium, as ordered. I'm okay with that, I agreed to this option, but it will not suit everyone. It turns out that the kitchen does not know how to make a steak of the right roast, and this is surprising, because in general everything else is very tasty
