Lenna Of Hobart Hotel

I had a wonderful experience at the Lenna Hotel. The building are absolutely beautiful, with lovely gardens and a real sense of history. I loved the booklet in the room telling the story of the building, the people who lived there and I really enjoyed looking at the old prints and photos on the walls. I'd love to see more photos! But what really stood out was the staff — every person I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant to deal with. It makes such a difference when you feel valued as a guest. I’ll definitely be booking there again. By contrast, I’ve stayed at the Movenpick in Hobart and found the reception and restaurant staff there rather snooty — you almost feel like you’re inconveniencing them by asking for anything. Lenna was the complete opposite — warm, gracious, and effortlessly professional. Highly recommended!

Such an amazing base for our stay in Hobart. |We had the family room that had a great view of the waterfront. Enough space for us to relax at night after days spent exploring. |The Chandelier bar is so cosy and a great place to unwind. |Try the dirty Martini! |The Lenna Sloe gin is fantastic too. |Carpark is a bonus and being able to easily walk to the markets, the wharf, great restaurants and the city made this perfect location in such a beautiful setting. ||Will definitely be back! We enjoyed a lovely room in a beautiful hotel with friendly professional staff. Our room was spacious and well appointed. We had a delightful view of the trees in the park, and the window was surrounded with Sweet Pea flowers and foliage. The coffee provided in room was perfect. The bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed exploring the grounds and the historic displays. The atrium interior is spectacular, and an impressive design. We had a problem with noise. The hotel and the area was completely quiet, so when we heard noises, we noticed it a lot. We heard a guest's young child crying at night, some revellers returning to their room after a party, and then mysteriously, the sound of gurgling water down the pipes woke us up during the night.

I have gone to this hotel every time I’ve visited Hobart And it the best. The location is perfect and it is so easy for going to dinner as there is good restaurants literally 1 minute away from this hotel. The breakfast buffet is perfection, I definitely recommend getting the breakfast. The rooms are large and spacious even when you ask for only a 2 person room it is quite big, the guest rooms on the ground floor have small balcony’s so you have your own view of the harbour from the front. 100% recommend going there

We spent a weekend here and loved it!|We were on the third floor and had a great view of the bay. Our room was clean and spacious. Clean bathroom with heated floor (loved it!).|There are stairs and a lift to each level. |Very quiet - no noise from other rooms or outside. |Convennient location to walk to all the wonderful restaurants in Salamanca and Battery Point.|We will definitely be back!

A gorgeous heritage hotel in a great location in Hobart, just a couple of minutes’ walk from Salamanca Place and the Battery. The facilities are modern but the atmosphere has 1800s heritage charm. And the staff were lovely!

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. There is no sound proofing. You can't sleep because you can hear everybody. The walls are so thin you can't tell where the noise is coming from .... if it's the room next door or the floor above. People were coming out of their rooms to complain. We called reception, but they did nothing. Add to that the sound of showers and the water hitting the metal drains, it sounds like rain on a tin roof. We were so looking forward to staying here but it has only disappointed us. Don't waste your money!!

Nice hotel, however, the actual hotel rooms are in the block next door to that pictured. If you have visions of staying an some grand mansion from Downton Abbey you may be disappointed. While you can walk around the historical part of the venue, most likely you will be staying in a standard hotel room. Still nice, clean and comfortable.

We made the decision to stay at Lenna during our 5 days in Hobart as part of our Honeymoon because it was so centrally located. We did not realize how beautiful, clean and comfortable it would be when we scheduled our trip. We loved staying at Lenna and would highly recommend it. The staff were amazing and the accommodations made our trip so much more special!
