The rooms and pool at the Lennox are beautiful, and the property itself has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the unhelpfulness of the staff and poor service, which left a very negative impression.
1. Misleading charges at breakfast – We were told the $30 Chase credit could be applied toward anything on the menu and that coffee was included with the main plate. In reality, we were consistently charged above the $30 without being informed, and only during the last two days were receipts provided. This left us under the impression everything was included when in fact we were being overcharged. To make matters worse, we had $100 of resort credit that the hotel refused to apply toward breakfast.
2. Failure to honor late checkout – The package included complimentary late checkout. Despite our room type showing availability (at least five rooms visible on Booking.com), the front desk refused, and staff could not explain the criteria used to grant late checkout.
3. Non-functioning amenities – The TV never worked during our entire stay. Multiple staff members came to “fix” it but no one was able to resolve the issue.
In the end, while the facilities are lovely, the lack of transparency, accountability, and willingness to help from staff made our stay frustrating. For the rates charged, we expected much better.
