Leonardo Boutique Hotel Munich

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst visiting Munich, about a 10 minute walk from the Universitat station so when going to Marienplatz we walked as it was only 20 minutes but both options are viable. |The room was clean and had everything we needed. The shower was odd and hard to get into but not a big issue. |The room came with a safe which is free for use, coffee and tea pods, a good sized tv and comfy beds. *N.B. the beds are two single beds both with their own sheet (which we loved)|The staff at reception are incredibly friendly and welcoming everytime you come in and you. |You are also able to keep your luggage their upon arrival or day of departure too. |The hotel is oposite a great family bakery which is a good option for breakfast. |The room was incredibly quiet and was a great nights sleep. |The lift was slightly small but as a group of two with small suitcases it was not a problem for us.

We came to Munich to see a concert and decided to do Christmas markets at the same time. This hotel was a find. Beautiful little place, wonderfully situated, and all staff super friendly. Every single receptionist was very accommodating and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They even gave a free candy bar for you to chose your own pick and mix, and also, the mini bar in the room is complementary!! Great place would definitely stay again if we come to Munich.

The rooms were small, but very nice-looking and cleaning was good. The views from the window to the city streets were nice. |The room had awful 1* level handsoap and shower gel, which I didn't like at all.|There was only 1 towel for 2 persons when we arrived, because the second one was hidden in a closet and we struggled to find it.|There was no minibar or refrigerator in the room.||The walk to the central square Marienplatz was 20 minutes, but the area in which the hotel is located, is nice with some cafes and antique shops. This gives a lovely small town feeling in a big city.||Breakfast was good and all the staff were very friendly.|There was a lot of noise coming from the restaurants outside that you could hear in the room that lasted until midnight on weekends. |The wi-fi was slow in the evenings, because it was an open network, so all the guests in the downstairs restaurants use it for the inconvenience of hotel guests.

Super friendly receptionist team 😀, you can leave your luggage at the reception and take care if you have time until the flight. Walk distance from Munich downtown 😃Nice breakfast, clean rooms. May be bathroom of the single room would be too small for a bigger person , but for an average-size person is OK. Overall highly recomended 😃

This hotel is great! Near everything. Comfy beds. Clean rooms. Bathroom snug, but was fine. Staff are lovely. The sweets and coffee at reception is a lovely little extra. Met other lovely guests too. Think this hotel was an old cinema, which explains quirky layouts, but it’s charming and cute! We had a great time here and will stay again when back in Munich.

Really clean and beautiful rooms. The staff and service are amazing and superb nice. The hotel is near the metro, many cafes and restaurants and even a park. Definitely recommend

Great experience. Ok, yes, the rooms are small, esp by US standards. But they are nice. The building is old, but that's part of the charm. It was warm when I went, and I was worried it would be hot in the rooms. Some info seems to indicate a lack of AC, but my room and the rooms have of two other people I know who stayed there when I did had small AC units. Breakfast is great, and there's a variety of inexpensive restaurants nearby.

Its a good hotel. However, I would not say that the staff is super cooperative. They denied me service when I requested them if I could get my food warmed up. I paid around 100 euros incl. taxes for my small single comfort room for one night (less than 12 hours) and it didn’t even have a dental kit. I had to personally request for one.

This is a cute hotel near the apartment of one of our former exchange students. The place is clean, roomy and comfortable. They have a complimentary breakfast and umbrellas you can borrow when it rains, which came in handy for us. The staff was also friendly. As a American aboard, a couple of things I noticed they didn't have in the rooms which I expected them to have were washclothes and alarm clocks. They did have blow dryers though! Overall, I was very impressed with the hotel and would stay there again if I ever go back to Munich.
