Leonardo Boutique Huntingtower Perth

We had an absolutely fantastic 2 night stay in this amazing hotel. All of the staff were friendly and worked extremely hard to make sure we were happy. Our room was spacious, clean and warm. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel at night was very quiet. We dined in the restaurant both nights and the food was incredible, the service amazing, nothing was too much hassle. Breakfast in the morning was again excellent, excellent food and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. We give this hotel and the staff 10 out of 10.

The Leonardo Boutique Huntingtower hotel is, unfortunately, far from boutique. The reception is ok, friendly staff, the dining room and stairway is impressive in olde-world baronial style timber and the breakfast is pretty good. Those are the pros, which are unfortunately let down massively by the room, which lets the whole image down sadly. The room is very basic but a good size, but I had booked a standard room so a level of basicness could be expected. However, it was poorly maintained, damp in the window seals and sills, grouting and bathroom blind was mouldy, grouting in floor tiles missing.

My partner and I stayed here just as a base to visit the Enchanted Forest in Pitlochry and given we got a pretty cheap deal, we were just hoping it was clean and comfortable, but it exceeded our expectations!||A beautiful period building, we loved the old Scottish feel to the place. Check in was quick and the receptionist warm and welcoming. We loved the complimentary juice / water on offer in the foyer too! ||Our room was huge , clean and comfortable. Bathroom yes a little dated, but keeping within the traditional feel more than adequate. ||The best part for us was breakfast which we had in the room - beautiful. Arrived on time, hot, and tasted delicious. If I had to make one, tiny complaint it would be that there was no potato scone! Can't have a Scottish breakfast without a tottie scone! ||We also have to say that all the staff we encountered from check in, to the night porter and young man who delivered our breakfast were just lovely. And it makes such a difference when you're treated so nicely by staff. ||We would absolutely stay again when in that area.

Hotel was in the location we needed. The lady at reception was very helpful and welcoming. The room appeared to be OK, but the sound of guests in the room above merely moving around was extremely intrusive. The toilet was in the corner of the bathroom and was placed too close to the wall. A 45 minute wait for breakfast was unacceptable, even though the waiter apologised. The cooked breakfast was edible, but the "continental plate" was not. The sliced cheese was hard at the edges, the brie was hard, the ham was fatty and for some reason the plate was wet.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are nice and big, and the breakfast was tasty (if a little basic for the price). Just be aware that the hotel is in a quiet, outlying area. You’ll need to drive about 15 minutes into Perth city centre for restaurants and shops as there isn't much within walking distance. Perfect for a quiet stay if you have your own transport!

Stayed over Hogmanay for a couple nights. Staff were great and very accommodating. Hotel looked great with the Xmas trees, lights etc. our 17 month old enjoyed it. Room was nice and nothing to complain about. The main thing that stuck out was how great the staff were. From the check in desk, to the restaurant/bar etc. didn't manage to catch any specific names of folk unfortunately but they were all great. Even warmed up some milk for us a couple times too.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely choose this place again. There was an issue with billing at checkout that I couldn’t resolve for months, but after calling the hotel a very kind and helpful woman, Skye Myles, took care of it. Her professionalism, speed, and efficiency solved a problem nobody else could fix—I highly recommend recognizing her excellent work to management.

The woman reception were very helpful and welcoming. Our 14month old son really likes Manthi I think was her name. She was very kind. The waitresses that were in for breakfast were very accommodating. The breakfast was good. Buffet selection was ok. Room was very spacious we were in the bottom floor. also there was plenty of dogs to pet which is always good. Only really bad point was there was no Guinness. And the magners was a little flat. But the Latte was top notch. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay. We may be back.
