Great central location next to train/bus stations. Staff very friendly and efficient. Easy check in check out. Room had lovely view and very clean. Nothing to fault tbh. We got great deal on ITISON voucher. Will definitely be our first choice of hotel when we return.

I chose Hotel Leonardo due to the location. I used public transportation, Rabbie's tours, and walking during my holiday/vacation. Bus station (which is the pickup location for Rabbie's Aberdeen based tours), train station, some attractions, and dining are all within a few minutes of the hotel. The room was a good size and had a luggage rack plus a tiny fridge. The bed was very comfortable. The windows opened, which I very much appreciated. There was heat and the controls are digital and very easy to operate. Shower worked well. You can send out laundry should you have a need and the process is easy. The employees were amazing! Very friendly and helpful!

Firstly, I base my reviews on value, not luxury. I've stayed here many times, a very reliable hotel that delivers pretty much close to excellence. The staff are possibly the best I've experienced in a UK hotel. Reception, catering and the housekeeping girls are excellent. I work Nights, so it's great getting room replenishment on request.|Breakfast again very good, hot buffet, continental, etc. The hotel is adjoined to a shopping mall so also very convenient. The parking is also fine and reasonable, a short walk to railway station, again adjoined to shopping mall. Rooms clean and very nice. Slept well in nice bed, all quiet.|I'm very happy here, staying for a week on business. I'd certainly recommend and thanks.

The girl at reception was lovely. Quiet and helpful and welcoming. The bar staff were friendly and cheery. It was altogether a lovely experience looking out onto the street which is our fave view. An elderly couple were having afternoon tea which looked special. Look forward to doing that sometime. Many thanks. Vanessa

Great location, if you park in college street car park you cut through the train station and straight into union square without having to go outside. (You can also avoid LEZ this way if car not compliant) great sized room, comfy bed and all nice and clean. Smart tvs in the rooms but cant be used as such as not connected to the internet so no loggong into netflix sadly lol. The overnight oats and fruit really yum for breakfast. The "fresh" juice is watered down which is a shame

This was my first time travelling alone with an infant age 6 weeks so I was a little nervous. The staff however were extremely accommodating. I really want to point out the front of house/receptionist Oggy I think I seen on his name tag? He was amazing, really really helpful and so friendly. He made my trip feel a lot more easy and relaxing.

My room was cold so I made the mistake of cranking up the heating only to wake up shedding a layer of skin at 4:30am. Easy rectified. Room was nice. Bed was comfy. Standard hotel breakfast. Apart from the tatties. What are they? How do they make them? It's more than just a sliced tattie. Don't pass them by. Bread was banging but will need two passes in the toaster. Coffee wasn't brilliant but good enough and for £12.50 extra your getting your money's worth. Also the little muffins should get a mention. My only real issue was the communal jam jar and it not being raspberry but there probably bigger issues in the world.

The Leonardo Hotel is located inside the Union Square shopping centre, which is adjacent to both the rail and bus stations. The shopping centre has several restaurants as well as shops. The hotel entrance is on the first floor, not the ground floor.||My room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of items. I enjoyed my stay here.

Yelp
Given the hotel is part of the Union Square complex that is attached to the train station, Jury's Inn are very accommodating of Cally Sleeper customers - they let me check in at 8am for no additional charge. Very pleased with that service and I would stay there again purely on that point alone. My room was of a big size. It was set up as a double and single but booked for single occupancy so tons of space. The bathroom was very noisy (plumbing?) which might bother some. Given I had checked in early, I was grateful for any room and as the noise didn't bother me, I didn't say anything. Similarly, the main light didn't work, however there were four other lights so I wasn't fussed. Room came with an iron and ironing board - the ironing board cover was far too thin (pretty common with hotels) but there were enough towels that I could pop one under the cover to plump it up. TV was adequate, tea and coffee making facilities available (and an ice machine outside the room down the corridor) but no biscuits. Shower gel, soap and shampoo all provided, but the shampoo was very harsh and I would recommend bringing your usual brand. The breakfast is glorious and this is where the hotel picks up more brownie points. For £10 you have your choice of fry up (all the usual including some excellent pork sausages), cold cuts (continental), cereal, French pastries, fruit segments/chopped watermelon, bread, tea, coffee and fruit juice. I didn't need lunch on any day. On the whole, this is a pretty average hotel, however it has a great location, great breakfast, friendly staff and really comfy beds (I had the best night's sleep in a long time). Whilst it may "only" be a three, this is where I will look to stay first next time I'm in the city.

Yelp
The good: A quite good 7 story affair in the middle of town. Nice bar and restaurant. Its located in an upscale mall with lots and lots of food choices, including - seriously, a gourmet food shop - quite incredible really. Remind me to tell you sometime about Scottish oatmeal wafers topped with a sliver of 72% dark chocolate and dipped in organic cherry yogurt. Plus...its connected with the rail in Aberdeen, so getting to and from destinations near and far is as simple as a train and a bus - incredible really. Plus plus...service is ultra friendly and accommodating: gotta love those Scottish accents! The bad: Why, you might be wondering is this not a 4 or a more likely (according to my off balance grading scale) 5 star. Well, I'll tell you why: The shower curtain stinks. Yeah - its musty. Surely the staff and management of the hotel have noses? I'll stay here again, but cmon' people, get this fixed please.

Yelp
Hotel looks nice enough but staff isn't very friendly and they only have really stiff pillows with no softer ones. Was tempted to rip half the stuffing out of one of them so I could get a decent nights sleep. Worst hotel I've ever been to in terms of sleeping comfortably. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this hotel while lost in Scotland (driving tour with Google Maps didn't go so well - Aberdeen is one confusing place to roam!) The shopping mall that's connected is great, everything to choose from. I'm told this is very much a college-town, lots of universities and people in their 20s. A few bars nearby as well. Hotel served its purpose (we needed a very last-minute place to sleep), but otherwise, it was nothing special. No WIFI in our room, I think we had to use it in the lobby. Room was fine, again, nothing special. And the hotel bar didn't really "match" the hotel. And breakfast was expensive, I recommend going to a cafe in the mall instead of eating at the hotel. Glad we had somewhere to sleep, but I probably wouldn't go back.

Yelp
'Generic' sums up this six year old hotel in central Aberdeen. It's perfectly functional, but don't expect many frills or anything fabulous. The best thing about this place is its location, right on top of the Union Square shopping mall, where there's a Cineworld, 20+ restaurants open until 10pm-ish, and 40ish shops open till 8pm during the week. As with all hotels in Aberdeen it's expensive, you'd pay 30% less for the same standard of hotel in Glasgow, Manchester or Birmingham. The rooms are a good size, modern, spotlessly clean. The beds are comfy, there's extra pillows n blankets in the wardrobe, along with the obligatory ironing board. You'll also find a flat screen with 20ish free channels, there's free basic wi-fi (book online for complimentary upgrade to super fast wi-fi, perfect for Netflix!). You'll find some basic toiletries and plenty of towels in the bathroom, and the shower's great. There are no mini bars, but there are ice machines in the hallways, I'd stock up on bottled water (or booze) across the street at the Sainsbury's Local. The buffet breakfast offers a good selection (inc. haggis!), but expect to serve yourself, there's no waitress service not even for drinks. Room service is odd too, order from your room, but collect form the restaurant on the ground floor (so not really room service). This place is also handy if you're travelling by train, the stations right next door to Union Square. So all in all its ok, nothing wrong with it, a generic business mans hotel. Oh, no gym either.
