I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, there was a lack of clear communication — especially regarding parking, which was poorly explained and left us confused upon check-in. We had booked a suite, and according to the hotel’s official website, a late check-out until 2 PM was included in the price. Despite this, we were told upon arrival to ask again on Saturday morning. When we did, the reception confirmed it would be possible — but only if we paid an extra €20, to be added to our final invoice. This directly contradicted the information provided at the time of booking. Then on Sunday morning, while we were still asleep, we were abruptly woken up at 11:30 AM with a call from reception telling us we had to vacate the room as soon as possible. Apparently, nothing had been confirmed in the system, and the staff told us they needed the room ready by 1 PM and that “there was nothing they could do”. No apology, no accountability — just pressure to leave quickly. On top of that, we could not even enjoy the breakfast we had already paid for. We had made it clear that we would return late from an evening out and therefore would not be attending breakfast — yet no solution, refund, or flexibility was offered. Finally, for a suite, it is frankly pitiful not to find even a bottle of drinking water provided in the room. The lack of basic amenities and attention to detail was truly disappointing. ➡️ Overall, the poor communication, lack of professionalism, and disregard for guests’ comfort completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend.

The hotel was beautifully decorated, the room was very clean and spacious with good amenities such as a fridge and coffee machine, the breakfast had everything you could want and the location of the hotel was very tranquil area with sea views visible from inside the hotel and only a 20 minute car ride away from central Amsterdam. The staff were friendly, especially the night receptionist jacopo who went out of his way to help us when needed, would highly recommend.

Enjoyable stay overall, but a few things could be better in Room #126:|| • The vintage-style fridge is a nice touch, but it was completely empty. After coming back late, it would’ve been great to at least have a bottle of water in there.| • The shower floor was very slippery so definitely something to be careful with.| • The desk chair is quite uncomfortable. It has a small cushion in the front and a metal grill for a backrest, which doesn’t make for a great seating experience.| • Lastly, the bed was a bit of a mystery. I had a double bed setup, but the mattresses kept sliding apart during the night, leaving a gap in the middle; not the best sleep setup.||On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, which made a big difference.

Interesting stay at this quirky hotel. Firstly, I would say the staff were excellent and super friendly. They understand what quality customer service is. There were a few too many issues for me and my friend however. The bed was sloping in to the middle which really wasn't good and didn't encourage a decent sleep. The TV was not a smart TV and for the money we paid per night and given I have stayed in a few Leonardo hotels in UK, it was disappointing to see that there was no smart tv. I think it would be good to have shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and moisturizer options as this is what I have come to expect in what I call fair spec hotels. The breakfast was a wide choice and generally good - I don't know if it is a Dutch thing but the bacon was burnt black and crispy on two of the three days and also on two of the three days there was no Breakfast tea. In terms of travelling in to Amsterdam, which we did every day, I would say this is probably a bit too far out. I would still like to thank the staff for their overall kindness and making us feel very welcome at the Leonardo hotel

Good experience and great service. I booked the hotel from their website in a better deal. The rooms were clean and had enough space for 2 people. Just the location is very far from city center and had to wait for the bus(Right across the road) as far public transport is concerned.

Superb hotel with an excellent accessible room, very pleasant and efficient staff, and breakfast. Wholeheartedly excellent value for money and ambience. We look forward to returning to this ideally located hotel in the not-too-distant future.

Everything in the hotel is above average. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel feels new and everything works well. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are excellent. |The hotel advised us to download the 9292 app for travelling around which was a great help. I can fully recommend this hotel.

What a fantastic hotel. Beautiful inside and lovely atmosphere but the staff really make it special. Gudrun from the kitchen area went above and beyond to make us welcome. She knew it was my partners birthday without any prompting and really spoiled her in the morning. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.
