Leonardo Hotel Vinkeveen Amsterdam

A beautiful hotel near the Amsterdam. The staff are very polite and respectful. A tranquil lake view, a well-equipped and suitable bar. However, I wish the hotel had more facilities. If you don’t have a car, it is accessible with two tickets (train and bus). The hotel is located in an area where there is nothing around, so I guess it's better for relaxing. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. Thank you, Leonardo Hotel Vinkeveen.

My experience at this hotel was truly wonderful. The staff were extremely welcoming and kind, always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm attitude made my stay so much easier and more comfortable. Everything was perfect — from the service to the atmosphere. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

Big rooms, very tidy and clean, good bathroom, friendly staff. My only complaints would be that the curtains don't stop any light in the morning, the double bed is actually just two 1- person mattresses put together (you can feel it), and that most of the charging ports for EV cars were out. It's nitpicking, we were happy with our stay.

I stayed here for one night and i really like it! Friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms. Very good location if you have a car.

Excellent Reception. They couldn’t be more helpful. Delighted with our room which was extremely comfortable the bed especially so and is delightful lake or inland water view. The rooms appear to be finished to a high level of detail.

The rooms are okay in size, the hotel is located a bit outside the city, but it’s fine if you have a car with you on holiday. The parking facilities at the hotel are good. Unfortunately, the beds are not good — the mattresses are far too soft and defective. Otherwise satisfied, very friendly staff.

I had a really nice stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming, my room was clean and had a nice ambiance. We had a really nice dinner outside on the terrace looking at the Vinkeveense Plas. The service was excellent. When we didn't know what we wanted to have for dinner and drinks, they were really helpful and advised us on some items. Everything we had was delicious. After dinner we had a cocktail and went back to the room where we had a really nice sleep. The bed was great and reminded me of my own. That made for a good nights rest. I would definitely recommend Leonardo Hotel Vinkeveen Amsterdam & The Harbour Club Vinkeveen and I hope to come visit again soon!

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding celebration, with three rooms booked for our group of five. While we appreciated the location and general comfort, unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations, especially considering the importance of the occasion. The night before, we informed the receptionist that a makeup artist would arrive at 6 AM for the bride, and also asked if it would be possible for me to bring a light breakfast (just a croissant and coffee) to her room, since the rest of us would go to the restaurant as usual. The receptionist confirmed without hesitation that this would be no problem. However, in the morning, another receptionist was on duty and was very unwelcoming. He did not want to let the makeup artist in and spoke in a rude manner, saying things like he didn’t care that it was a wedding, and even remarked that if there were “problems” he would deal with us, the guests, rather than with the colleague who gave us permission. The bride herself had to come downstairs to explain the situation again, which created unnecessary stress on such an important day. Regarding the breakfast request, no one had been informed about it, so again we had to clarify everything in the morning. Considering the special occasion, and also our connection to the hospitality industry ourselves, we expected at least a small gesture of congratulations from the hotel (such as a bottle of sparkling wine), but nothing was offered. Overall, while the hotel itself has potential, the lack of communication between staff members and the unprofessional attitude we encountered left us quite disappointed, especially on a wedding day.
