I’m a safari agent and spent a night at Leopard Hills to check it out for myself and honestly, it blew me away. From the second I arrived, the welcome was so warm and genuine. Maggi and Portia at the front desk were lovely and just made everything feel easy and relaxed. The lodge itself is stunning. There’s this beautiful use of natural wood and earthy tones that make it feel like it blends into the bush rather than disturbing it. That is important to me. Those warm ponchos and fleece jackets for the game drives were a game changer on chilly mornings, I could actually enjoy the sightings instead of just freezing.||Justin, my guide, was absolutely amazing — one of the best (if not the best) I’ve ever had. He’s clearly obsessed with what he does and his excitement was contagious. Every sighting felt like a big moment and he would get so excited! Ronnie, the tracker, was just as impressive. He actually chatted to us (which isn’t often the case with trackers) and lots of animals. I also liked how the guides from different lodges helped each other out with sightings - nice to see a frienly relationship!||The game viewing was honestly next level. In just one evening, I saw lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, a leopard, giraffe, hippo, impala, waterbuck… the list goes on. The food was also great — there was so much of it! I would 100% go back and I’ll definitely be sending clients here.I was only there for a night, but I swear I left a little piece of myself behind. I’ll just have to return to go and fetch it!
