What can I say. It was absolutely fabulous from start to finish.....paradise on earth. I was there for 5 nights at the beginning of May in suite # 4. ||Everything about the lodge is first class from the suites to the shared areas and most importantly the Leopard Hills team. ||The suite was spotless, large and had everything you could possibly need or want from the minibar (refilled every day) to the smaller touches such as insect repellant, tissues and all the necessary soaps, shampoos etc. The housekeeping team came in twice a day and at night they shut all the curtains and put the mosquito nets down.||The team at Leopard Hills are truly awesome. Always smiling, friendly and attentive but not at all obtrusive. They seemed to think of things before you even asked or needed them, and always used my name. ||The food was absolutely delicious, varied plentiful and beautifully cooked and presented by Cobus and his team.||I wasn't going to mention names because every single person was brilliant, but I will mention Carmen (food and beverages manager) who was so warm and friendly. I must also mention Selina who give me a massage to die for.||We all go on safari to see the wildlife and at Leopard Hills you will not be disappointed. My guide was Johan and along with his tracker (apologies for forgetting the name).|| Johan was brilliant with us (I shared the vehicle with another couple). We saw all the big 5 on our first day along with many other animals. He was so knowledgeable funny and personable all at the same time. His passion and care for the animals and environment was there for all to see.|| Yes, it is an early start for the morning drive, but the joy and the privilege of seeing the animals in their true home is awe inspiring and something I will never forget.||I cannot wait to be back there next May and see my second family again.

A stay at Leopard Hills is an amazing, unforgettable experience. The staff are exceptionally nice, the cottages and common areas are clean and well maintained, delicious meals served, and the Big 5 game viewing is likely above anywhere else. Its Sabi Sands location provides an intimate feel both on premises and in the bush. How special to sit in an open-air Land Cruiser, just you and your fellow passengers, and enjoy close encounters with Cape buffalo, elephants, leopards, lions, and rhino, among others! Comments from other guests we met mirrored mine. My wife and I are already planning a return. Leopard Hills, highly recommended!

My wife and I visited Leopard Hills for our honeymoon, and it was an incredible experience. The game drives are exhilarating, the views are picture-perfect - but the best part about Leopard Hills is the people. From the guides & trackers to the food & beverage team, and everyone in between, the people made us feel welcome and special from the moment we arrived. A special thanks to our guide, Johan, for his knowledge and expertise on the game drives, and to Chef Penny for the unbelievable food at every meal. We’ll be back!

This was top notch all the way. Our tour guide Morne, was knowledgeable and passionate about the reserve. We saw every animal on our list and much more. We also took advantage of a walk with Morne and loved learning more about Sabi Sands and the plants and animals that inhabit the Reserve. The food was fantastic and well prepared. We had wonderful choices and there was enough variety to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Our room had a gorgeous view of the valley and we enjoyed our morning coffee watching the elephants and other animals at the pond below. Megs and the entire team went out of their way to ensure our comfort and cater to our every need. This was a bucket list trip and we were not disappointed!

We had the absolute best time in Leopard Hills. Outstanding villa, amazing service, the best & most hilarious guide Justin, a brilliant tracker Ronnie. Spent 3 nights that allowed us to do 6 game drives. Landscapes were unreal and the animals were absolutely stunning. We had front row seats to the wonders of the Sabi Sands. To top it off, food was great and the free flowing alcohol was even better! We were very well taken care of. Highly recommended & will find our way back!

We stayed 3 nights at Leopard Hills, it was simply sensational. We have been coming to SA for many years on safari and we thought we would try Sabi Sands, what a good decision to book Leopard Hills.|The minute we arrived we were welcomed by the three lovely ladies and were shown to the deck over looking the bush and water hole for our first lunch, breath taking views supplemented by absolutely fabulous food, every meal was amazing, the staff are so friendly and provide for your every need.|We stayed in Room 8, the room was very Luxurious, grand fittings and furniture, a private deck overlooking the waterhole and a plunge pool. The room contained a mini bar, which was restocked twice a day, with all branded drinks, exceptional.||The game drives with Justin and Advice were magnificent, Leopard Hills deserves its name, we saw 5 different leopards, mating, fighting and evading lions, two outstanding sightings of a large African wild dog pack with around 12 pups, two majestic male lions, stunningly big Elephants and Rhino. The visits into the Sabi river valley were simply beautiful, the variety and beauty of the birds was off the scale. I tried a new concoction called a Bush Mix, coffee, chocolate and Amarulla, truly memorable. A big thank you to Justin and Advice, two great bushmen and conservationists, their knowledge and experience of the bush and animals was first class.||So thanks to Duncan and his wonderful team for such a wonderful stay, looking forward for a return visit. ||Best Wishes|Andrew and Sue

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Leopard Hills, it was truly a treasure and we were blown away by the accommodations and the friendly staff. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my husband and I so I put a ton of research into it and am so happy we chose Leopard Hills. There are so many choices but you cannot go wrong with this one. We were in suite #5 per my request and had elephants drinking from our pool daily! It was incredible. The food was always on point which included a Boma (cookout type thing) Our guide Morne was extremely knowledgeable and we saw the big 5 within two game drives! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a perfect safari trip.

Leopard Hills was our final destination, concluding our first safari experience in Southern Africa, and what a way to end this wonderful trip! We stayed 4 nights and wish we had stayed longer. |The lodge is stunning, featuring modern, understated luxury with earthy tones that seamlessly blend into the surrounding landscape. The views from the main deck are breathtaking. Situated on the side of a hill, it offers a stunning overlook of both the surrounding landscape and the waterhole below the lodge. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a variety of animals, such as rhinos, elephants, impalas, wildebeests, and hippos, at the waterhole during breakfast and lunch.|There are eight rooms or suites located throughout the resort. Some are built on the hillside with stunning views, while others are at ground level facing the bush. Each suite is beautifully designed, featuring a sitting area with a desk, a comfortable king-sized bed, and a bathroom equipped with both a separate shower and bath. Outside, there is a deck that includes a plunge pool and an outdoor shower. The room offers all the amenities you could desire, including a well-stocked fridge with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, snacks, and a Nespresso coffee machine. We stayed in room 5, which was located on the ground level and overlooked a small waterhole frequented by various animals, including elephants. It was great to sit on the deck and watch impalas, baboons, and zebras come to the waterhole. One afternoon, I had the most magical experience of being woken up by elephants drinking from the pool!|In addition to the luxurious surroundings, the staff is excellent. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and attentively. The staff remembered our names and preferences, such as how we take our coffee and our favourite lunch beverages. These small details and personalised service truly reflect what makes this lodge great! Special thanks to Spha for taking such great care of us during meal times and to Portia in the spa for relieving our sore muscles with her magical touch. |What truly sets this place apart is the game drives. The vehicles accommodate only six passengers and are extremely comfortable. Each morning, we were given hot water bottles, blankets, and windbreaker ponchos to ensure we could enjoy the drives without getting cold. We saw a lion and the resident leopard, Ravencourt, on the first game drive, and we had ticked off the “Big 5” within 48 hours of arriving at the lodge. |Justin, our guide, was phenomenal. His knowledge of the African biota was incredible, and he had a wonderful personality to match. He was an excellent host, taking care of us during rest breaks by preparing a “bush mix” of chocolate, coffee, and Amarula in the morning and mixing G&T or DBC at sundown. The trackers, Justice and Ronnie, were great and always going above and beyond while spotting tracks, unusual insects, or birds. |We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lodge and would recommend it without any hesitation.
