📍 About the Place
Leopold Cafe is one of Mumbai’s oldest and most famous cafés, founded in 1871 and located on Colaba Causeway — right across from the Colaba Police Station. It’s a cultural landmark as well as a popular hangout for tourists, locals, and fans of the novel Shantaram.
The café also carries historical significance because it was one of the spots attacked during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, and some bullet marks remain preserved as a memorial.
