Google
I’m a huge fan of tacos al pastor, and it’s not always easy to find a spot that does them right, but these are hands down the best. The pineapple adds the perfect touch, and everything just hits the spot. I also love that you can order just the meat and tortillas on the side—it’s a great way to get even more tacos for a little less. Totally worth it!

Google
Amazing Carne asada tacos and quesadilla So delicious!!

Juan Carlos Silva

Google
Amazing food, tacos al pastor are definitely the best that we have tried in the US. True “trompo” pastor. Everything was great but the plain al pastor taco directly from the trompo was amazing! I would really suggest them to use the same trompo meat for all the other things like quesadillas.

Google
4 dollars each for a Tiny Taco, 1 Burrito at 16 and its basic asf, 1 soda @3.50. I paid 50 dollars getting lunch for myself and my cousin yesterday. FOOD WAS MID. please dont go here they are scamming you.

Martin Newton

Google
I got here around 6 pm, and the trompo was on but not ready. Since I didn't want to wait, I got some tacos al pastor cooked on the grill, but the meat didn't have any crispiness. The tacos had good flavor but weren't quite right. They are probably great once the trompo is up and running fully. As of today, they are $2.30 each plus tax. Paid $5.04 total for 2 tacos.

Google
If you are looking for some amazing al pastor tacos, this is the place to go. The lengua tacos were okay. There is a self serve sauce, onion/cilantro and lime cart. :) You can eat there or take it to go, but note that there aren't a lot of tables so find a seat quick hehe.

Amy Sunico

Google
BEST BEST BEST AL PASTOR TACOS IN SOCAL. I can't even order al pastor at other places anymore because I'll just think that it's not Leos. And every time I come here I regret not ordering double of the amount of tacos I ordered. These are little street tacos that are 2-3 heavenly bites so you'll want to get extra. The pork is cooked just right so the meat is not dry or tough and even has a little crunch on the outer edge. The slice of pineapple makes all the difference. Once you get your tacos you can get anything you want from their sauce/sides cart and they have some mild and hot salsa, onion/cilantro, lime, radish, etc so load up! If you think you like al pastor and have not tried Leos, you are really missing out!

Mike P

Google
Amazing al pastor tacos. Plenty of free salsa and toppings. Friendly staff.

Yelp
Gorditas weren't like your normal ones where it's a pocket with everything inside. Prefer those since it's easier to eat. Asada. Better of the 2 options tried. All fresh ingredients. 3.5/5 Carnitas. Don't recommend. 2/5 Red salsa has a good flavor

Yelp
I love Leo's Tacos! We usually always get the Al Pastor Tacos. This is what they're known for! It's neat to watch the guy cut the Pastor off the Trompo and top it off with a pineapple piece that is expertly sliced! We've also had the Carne Asada & Carnitas, but for me, the Al Pastor is the best! They offer 10 different meats. You can get more than just tacos ... they have burritos, tortas, mulitas, quesadillas, nachos, and more! They have a condiments bar with all the fixings you need. We enjoy their Habanero Salsa. They also include beans, grilled jalapenos & onions, and pickled jalapeños for you to serve yourself. It's very nice that a taco truck will provide the extras beyond just the basic toppings. This truck is located at the corner of Avalon Blvd & Lomita Blvd. There are some parking spots in this tight lot. You can also try to grab street parking. This was some sort of place for either gas or tires previous to being the location for Leos Taco Truck. There is an old garage set up with tables & chairs. It's nice that it shelters you a little from the wind, heat, or rain! [ https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/leos-tacos-truck-wilmington?select=HPrR56VRIgWcfo1l8Geo6A ] This is a Taco Truck we love to come support! We've been coming here since 2019 and will continue to patronize this business!

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon, there was a small line. Been hearing about Leo taco for awhile and finally got to try it. Ordered the Al pastor taco and it was absolutely delicious, the Al pastor was a little crispy, great flavor. Got the 2 strawberry milk drink and it was tasty. The salsa had a good kick and goes really well with the Al pastor taco. The Al pastor quesadilla was ok. Probably only order the Al pastor taco and the strawberry drink only next time .

Yelp
Don't eat here! They have maggots. My sister ordered tacos and there were live maggots in her tacos. She asked for a refund and the cashier was being rude and didn't want to give her a refund at first. Be careful and don't eat here! Disgusting place. Health inspector needs to drop by.

Amri C.

Yelp
When I was eating one of my 2 tacos I noticed movement on the other. Upon closer inspection I realized it was a maggot. I recorded it for proof, drove back and approached the cashier in a well manner and told her what happened. I asked for a refund returned all the food that I hadn't eaten which was more than half my order. The cashier claimed to at I must have put it in there because I had already finished the vampiro i ordered. It's a maggot. Maggots spawn from flies when they land on exposed areas especially on food. After going back and forth and attitude from the cashier she finally gave me my refund.

Yelp
Straight up trash , didn't have the al pastor tronco outside. Al pastor was shredded instead of having the cut texture. Seems like they got the al pastor already premade. Service is bad. Hope the owner looks at this review because this place gives the brand a bad rep
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
Great no frills taco spot. Their al pastor is as good as everyone says, with generous slices of juicy pineapple for that sweet + savory combo. Don't sleep on the cabeza either -- perfectly tender and juicy pork. The horchata also hit the spot. They have a self-serve bar with all your usual taco fixings (cilantro, onions, salsa, radish, lime, etc.). They take card now for a $1 fee and have a pretty large seating area!
google avatar

Amanda V.

Yelp
It's one of the best taco trucks you can find in LA.. I always hope there's a Leo's nearby when I'm craving pastor tacos

William G.

Yelp
The pastor tacos were delicious and the salsa is really, really good, too. It was my first time there the other day and will be thinking about Leo's when I want tacos again.

Yelp
Saw Leo's Tacos on Netflix list of taco places in LA. This particular one might not be the original since its the one in Wilmington. Having seen it on a list of best tacos in LA I knew we had to try. We got, al pastor since that what they are known for, cabeza, and carne asada. I really expected the al pastor to be good and flavorful but it wasnt. The generous slice of pineapple definitely added flavor but the meat by itself isnt as flavorful. Also the meat was a bit tough. The carne asada was okay in flavor but dry, almost like ground beef texture. The one I probably slightly enjoyed more is the cabeza. It was soft and had some moisture, although not as flavorful still pretty good. Idk, how their al pastor was voted the best but I definitely had better ones in LA.

Yelp
Yum yum yum specially after a night out of drinking. Carne asada fries are delicious. Definitely must try this place out
google avatar

Julissa R.

Yelp
I don't see what's the big hype. I've seen them on reviews in LA bests tacos, but I don't think they're the best tacos I've ever taste. Perhaps the LA one truck taste better than the ones in Wilmington, but it was mediocre to me I drove from Long Beach and that was the closest one to me. I will rate them a 5 out of 10! To me, King Taco taste better. so far I haven't found the best tacos in LA I. My opinion.
google avatar

Kimie S.

Yelp
The Agua de fresh taste like syrup. The Carne Masada fries were not appetizing. Ate at the location in Inglewood and it was fire. Thought since this was closer to me I was so hyped up. Guess I will make the long drive for better quality
google avatar

John J.

Yelp
Ordered Alpastor tacos and some chicken. Not very flavorful unfortunately. Had very high expectations. I loved another truck, Tacos Chidos in Venice. Amazing flavors. Will give it another try when we come back in November.
google avatar

Maricel J.

Yelp
late night cravings. Best al pastors!
google avatar

Letty M.

Yelp
Yummy tacos de asada and pastor with a sweet slice of pineapple on tacos so good. Food truck with great food they take cash and card. We have also tried the zopes also a delicious option. We grab our food to go as the area to eat is not the best but again it's a food truck so not much to expect. Food is good five stars for that !
google avatar

Hugo D.

Yelp
Their food is good. I mostly go for their burritos. Their tacos are good. The mulitas are good too. I like their agua de horchata. The lady who takes the order is always friendly. She gave me salsas, lemons, a lot of grilled onions with a couple of chilis.
google avatar

The C.

Yelp
Always good... the tacos de asada are my go to but they also have a great California burrito. I ask for the avocado on the side because I personally don't like warm avocado
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
The best tacos in the South Bay! Absolutely delicious. Tender meat, excellent seasoning and flavor and the salsas complement everything so well. I'm addicted. Definitely come thru and check them out !

Jontavious Q.

Yelp
Gas food, the prices are okay and I really like their sauces. Definetly would try again some time soon when I'm in the area

Victor F.

Yelp
My wife and I come here at least once a month. My favorite is the California burrito with asada or pastor. My wife likes the asada burrito and the torta. My second favorites are the tacos and I like the pastor best. We have been coming to this location for over a year and the portions are good and consistent.

Jasmine H.

Yelp
Al pastor tacos are amazing ! The service is friendly and fast . These tacos always hit the spot and they're open late as well. They have a great menu from burritos , taco, tortas, carne asada fries, nachos etc Check this place out if your in the area you won't be sorry.
google avatar

Rick V.

Yelp
Fantastic lengua burrito!! Salsa verde and salsa roja elevated the experience. Rice fluffy and flavorful. No skimping on the lengua either. Will definitely be back to sample more.

Mario S.

Yelp
Hello, my name is Mario. The reason why I'm just taking a little bit of time of mine, just to let you know guys, that you guys not ever and ever and ever get a tacos from Leo's Drug, unless you're gonna get a different location. The one in Avalon and Lumita is fucked up. The service is bad. Honestly, bad. When I mean bad, means from 1 to 10 is minus zero. Service is bad. Sauce is not good. And if you're trying to figure what is the best way for us guys as a consumer to get the ball rolling and get a better service and get a better sauce and get a, you know, well, they kick you out. You have no way to speak to the supervisor. There is no way for you to talk to the manager. There is no way for you to talk to the CEO, whoever is in charge. But the only reason why I'm trying, honestly, I don't really do the shit. That get one start, two start, I don't really do that. But when I get a good service, honestly, I try. If there is 10 starts, I make it happen. But there is one start, I make it happen minus 10. So this is the only reason why I'm figuring and I'm posting it. And even though I got to pay to be this review, the one in the front, I will pay for it. So please do not get tacos from Lomita and Abajo and Wilmington. Do not. Service is bad. Get somewhere else. Get your business somewhere else. Thank you. Refine

Yelp
Finally they had put the salsa bar back and a seating area with tables are available now inside of the former muffler shop, it was so great to not be eating Leo's tacos out of a foil wrapper! The tacos are $1.5, Al pastor is still my absolute favorite. This time they gave us big chunks of pineapples it was so juicy and such a necessity to these tacos. This location is much much better than their other locations that are closer to DTLA. Less line, more parking, larger seating area. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Diane C.

Yelp
No need to drive to LA anymore! Glad it is the down the street and we can get there in less than 10min. If you are familiar with Leo's Tacos, you know they are known for the al pastor which each taco is served with a slice of pineapple. YUM! With the current situation, everything is served to go and they pack the cilantro and salsas for you. We got carne asada, al pastor tacos and an horchata all of which is so good. Food was served pretty quickly and it was still hot when we got home. In the mood for street tacos or just bomb Mexican food, don't hesitate to go to Leo's!

Keith C.

Yelp
former muffler shop taken over by food/taco truck - pretty good food - fun ambiance can be busy on warm weekend evenings
google avatar

Lheonna T.

Yelp
This taco truck has the best Al pastor nachos!! It is loaded with toppings and meat. The chips are crunchy and not soggy. I highly recommend trying it out! There's is a few tables available if you would like to eat there!
google avatar

Tracy L.

Yelp
When I lived on the Westside, I would go to the Leos Truck on La Brea. Usually would come after a night out and inhale several tacos to soak up all the alcohol. After moving to the South Bay, it just wasn't appealing to make the drive all the way over there to get tacos. BUT THEN I found out there was a Leo's in Wilmington (which is much closer). But could it be the same one? Well I went last night and found out for myself! Yassss same great Al Pastor with a pineapple!!! They got the same DIY salsa set up in front. I ordered 4 al pastors and 2 lenguas. I thought they were both as delicious as I remembered. They were $2 a pop (which I feel like the price was cheaper at the La Brea location). Anyways, so happy I get to still enjoy Leo's taco's down here in the South Bay. Oh and it's CASH ONLY.
google avatar

Dayana T.

Yelp
Best in the west. El pastor tacos Have about 15 tacos stands that are within 2 minutes from my house. Leo's tacos are worth the 10 minute drive. My new spot. Staff is amazing.

Active O.

Yelp
Roach Tacos I can't believe there was a dead roach inside my taco, good thing I didn't eat it!
google avatar

Ed S.

Yelp
Perfect for a late night craving or when you happen to be driving by and see 'em! Anytime is a good time for Leo's Tacos. 5 stars all day long! My only request: Bring back the jalapeños & spicy carrots! Not sure why some spots don't offer them anymore...
google avatar

Andre M.

Yelp
Some of the best tacos in town, that's why there's a line. Asada is good, pastor, pollo, delish.
google avatar

Dennis L.

Yelp
I was looking for tacos near Sofi Stadium and this location was on my way back home off the 405. I was excited to try the Al pastor tacos since they advertise having a trompo. The tacos were $1.50 each and had a good amount of meat on them. They were good, but not 'the best' like many claim in the reviews. Would I stop by again? Yes, but for the suadero tacos. Those were really good. They also offered other items and aguas frescas. I am only giving them 4 stars because the tacos Al pastor. If your claim to fame is the trompo, than the tacos need to be fire. They also had a seating area set up at the station, so I guess if I could, I'd give them a 4.5 out of 5.
google avatar

Jonathan W.

Yelp
Food truck is parked in the corner. Parking available behind the gas station building behind it. $1.50 tacos $1.50 Al pastor tacos. Includes a nice slice of caramelized pineapple. Pineapple was the best part! $1.50 buche-pretty soft and tender meat. Not fatty Very accessible at the corner.
google avatar

Robin _.

Yelp
Good food with great service. What I find exceptional is the cleanliness. Although they still do have the normal condiment self serve station, all members from the grill seemed to have gloves. I had a lengua burrito, chicken quesadilla and champorado. All were good and at the location there was well lit outdoor seating. This is a great food truck in comparison to the few that I have went.
google avatar

Gio G.

Yelp
Good stuff, for sure! Definitely will come back for more tacos and tortas. Pastor torta are the best on the west! Sorry,I forgot to take pictures to the food .
google avatar

A T.

Yelp
Leo's spot hit the spot. It was off the hook. The pineapple added flavor. My brother enjoyed the quesdilla Hawaiiana. I would definitely go back. The only drawback is they only take cash which sucks. But it's worth it.
google avatar

Cameron C.

Yelp
I come here as often as I can. I used to live in the area and would always come here at random hours in the night to get pastor (pork) or asada (steak)tacos or a quesadilla. The tacos here are traditional to Mexico. They have the revolving pastor and each order comes with a slice of pineapple which rest on top of the meat as it cooks. Today I got an Asada Torta which is basically a sandwich except it's on a different kind of bread. My ex girlfriend finally tried this place after I told her about it for ages and now she's also I regular. I just wanted to review this spot because then I never had much time. I have much love for Leo even though I'm a Gemini. Haha #salud
google avatar

Z. H.

Yelp
So happy there is a Leo down south. I usually go to the one up north in La Brea, but glad there's an option for people down here. The quality is just as amazing and taste great. During the pandemic they were still in service. My favorite is the Al Pastor of the spit, with pineapple. The alambre is great for a plate full of delicious meat cheese veggies and tortilla. Looking forward to more tacos from the best truck in town!
google avatar

Marco S.

Yelp
GET THE PASTOR Ok I have had their others but they are known for their pastor meat off the trumpo. Their pastor really is good and that's what they are known for. These aren't the largest tacos so you might want 3-5 for yourself in one shot. For the price though it's pretty good. This location is also kind of low key so there's hardly a line when we come. Definitely try it if you haven't had it.
google avatar

Nijole T.

Yelp
These really are some of the best tacos ever! There's spit roasted Pastor is want to come for, it is absolutely delicious! Service at some point, they're always upbeat and friendly and extremely efficient. Prices are very fair, I recommend their tacos or Alambres. Great selection of salsas and science, a must when in LA!
google avatar

Andre M.

Yelp
Finally!!!! I don't have to drive to LA for these tacos! Get a Champurado or a nice cold bottle Coca Cola. Bring your lovey lady or man. If you don't got any of those two. Bring yo family and friends. Order the tacos or alambre. Worth the price for the amount of meat you get. The mulitas aren't worth. Besides the handmade tortillas. Don't recommend it. If you do opt for the alambre. Ask for the hand made tortillas. It may cost more. But you'll thank me later. Cheers Leo!

Yelp
They're so good we come all the way from Houston and honestly I've never tried any Pastor like this! Keep up the hard work guys! Foods incredible & taste amazing.

Yelp
Tacos were decent. They have a seating area which is nice. Asada and Al Pastor tacos were just ok. My chorizo mulita was not good, I didn't like the flavor of the chorizo. I was in the mood for fries so we got some and they were ok, the ketchup (packets) are not good.

Kristy L.

Yelp
This Leo's is tucked away on the corner of a quiet intersection on Wilmington, an unassuming spot for the popular LA taco chain. Since quarantine started, I haven't been here in ages, but decided to drop in tonight...just reaffirmed everything I believed about this location. Lesser lines, better consistency, and fast service. The la locations tend to have longer lines and parking can be tricky (also consistency is a little blotchy). This location is so quaint, it's practically empty the majority of times, but the quality imo is actually better than their la location(s). My top 3 favorites are al pastor, tripas, and cabeza. The al pastor is just unbelievably good. Amazing texture, chewy, and bouncy while still maintaining that unique pork flavor. *tip: cash only
google avatar

Cairo M.

Yelp
There Al Pastore burrito was amazing! I even got there 15 minutes before they closed, ordered and realized that they only took cash. They made my food and waited for me to Go to the nearest bank and come back and pay. Very respectful employees, awesome experience. Perfect late night grub!
google avatar

Zainichi I.

Yelp
Al pastor is where it's at here. Their asada is good too. Not dry like some spots. The truck is parked next to a building with under-roof seating. The staff is really friendly. You order with the lady seated in the truck's passenger seat. Pickup at the window right behind that. They have a condiment cart next to the truck where you help yourself to the typical fixins (be safe during covid, it can get crowded). They take cash only. They're usually set up around 5pm but can start filling orders around 4:15-4:30ish while they set up.
