The best toast I’ve ever had in my life!! They were perfect and service was great! Highly recommend

A lovely little lunchtime spot to eat. There was plenty of shade outside, lots of seats with parasols, all in a lovely square with a fountain in the middle. A simple menu with a variety of hot and cold open sandwiches, starters and some nice drinks options too. The waiting staff were polite and attentive, and the food arrived quickly. We particularly enjoyed the mixed starter with some tasty cheeses and crusty bread. The main course was great, my son enjoyed the anchovy open sandwich and my wife really liked the smoked salmon. It was all very tasty indeed!

Wonderful indoor/outdoor bistro and coffee shop. Visited it twice. I had the croque monsieur with chèvre and salad, then the raspberry/apple crumble. Everything fresh and tasty. Lovely spot outside to sit under the trees and people watch. Or inside to commune or read a book. The toilet is fun too with wallpaper from the 1960's magazines and newspapers. Staff were friendly and helpful, though a bit slow and disorganized on the second visit when we sat inside! It wasn't clear to us if we ordered at the counter or table, so we ended up doing both. Not a lot of tables inside. The servers wore T shirts with a cute young boy's face and Marcel written under it. We found out Marcel is the current owner. Price per person €10–20

Great choice in the center of Avignon for lunch or dinner. Located in a small plaza in front of a lovely gothic cathedral, L’Epicerie features “homemade” recipes with locally sourced ingredients. The chicken and steak we enjoyed were well prepared and had delicious sauces. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Weather permitting, get a table outside!

L’Épicerie de Ginette is a great place for a homemade and delicious bite in the heart of Avignon. The service is fast, the food is very good and affordable and the place in itself is very cozy - recommended!

Had a lovely quick lunch here: goat's cheese and honey tartine, with a side salad. Delicious, and very generous portions! The location is ideal, with plenty of tables out on the terrace, including options in the sun or shaded by trees The staff are friendly and efficient :)

An old place made look good, delicious food, good coffee.

They were out of foie gras AND the chocolate cake 😢 BUT, everything we ordered was REALLY good. Fun sandwiches, welcoming wait staff, cool interior, very reasonable prices (2 tartines, 2 desserts, a wine and a G&T were 34€). Family-friendly, cozy, and delicious. A very French experience— highly recommended 🏆👍❤️
