Stayed there 20 y ago. The typical parisian, original and very beautifull decoration, the rooms are old fashioned decorated, distinguishing it from the modern ones. the boring ones indeed, where you stay and don't distinguish the country you are...
So here you will really feel you are in a parisian french bedroom. Its cozy, large bedrooms (for paris...). And at that time you could receive the petit dejanur with a hot croissant at the bedroom. Hope it still hapening... The sensation is really good.
Close to a metro station although this line is a litle bit far from metro line 1, from where you can go anywhere in Paris and can get Champs Elysse, Louvre, Q Latin, etc...
But opening the windows, see Sacre Cuer and listen the bells is nice.. The neighbourough is calm. At that time the staff was very preocupated with efficiency, people from some cultures can geel they are not so gentle... But that is the way parisian used to be. ( yes, 20 y ago was worst, fortunatelly I noticed enhancements on that at the times later going to the city. thanks to new generations...).
But they are efficient and have to thanks them to keep the hotel as it is.
