The hotel website and Google indicate that there is parking available, but there isn’t actually any parking. Well, there is parking, but it’s paid parking. I arrived, parked my car, and then the municipality came and fined me 70 euros. When I went to the hotel and asked if this was their parking lot and why I was fined, they told me that because I hadn’t registered, this happened. However, there is still a 15-euro fee if you want to use the hotel’s parking. And if you don’t pay this fee, the municipality will come and fine you. Just so you know, this is a wrong practice.
Edit: I made the reservation through booking.com, and while I was processing the reservation there, there was no such information.
It might be written somewhere in the fine print of the contract that no one usually checks, but at least when we arrived at the hotel, it would have been good if the reception had asked if we had a car.
