Wonderful experience in this very tiny dining room, the semi open kitchen gives a few tables a kitchen table experience. The vibe from the staff & music was the perfect level of “chill & enjoy your meal“ The slightly rushed wine service is probably do to lack of space to work/eat in. The mid sized wine list is full of gems all decently priced. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish showing very fresh and pure flavors

Highly recommend this place for their lunch prix fixe menu - you'll leave happy and well fed for sure. Service is outstanding in both French and English, and the vibe is very cozy and welcoming. The food itself is superb, with fresh ingredients that lend themselves to very creative experiences. Just be aware that their mushroom brioche looks...less than appetizing 😂 but the rest of the dishes were pleasing to the eye and the palate. Would definitely come back again!

The tomato appetizer and crepe ball’s appetizer was really great. Those appetizers were amazing. I also enjoyed the main courses. The wine selection wasn’t extensive. The service was excellent. The ambiance was great. The restaurant is small and it was booked. I recommend getting a reservation. The lunch menu was very affordable. Only $55 euros for a 5 course meal. A excellent value. I would recommend coming here. It was a enjoyable experience.

I'm really glad that I found this place and booked a table for lunch. My husband and Mother in law got the 3-course menu while I went for the Discovery menu which came with 5 courses. Every dish was beautiful and you could taste quite a few different flavors and ingredients in one bite. Each dish was very much prepared with care. The services were wonderful, too. We actually ran into one of the servers at the train station and she was so nice and asked whether we needed help even though you could tell she just got off of work. Overall, the overall food quality and service is deserving of a Michelin rating ( compare to many of the 1 - 2 stars Michelin places I've tried) with an amazing value. Highly recommend it and would come back!!!

Google
One of the better Michelin starred restaurant in Lyon. Very impressed with the interesting choice of ingredients and the wine pairing was superb. The led to a much longer but very enjoyable lunch than we anticipated. Highly recommended - pls book way in advance as many of the restaurants in Lyon have limited seatings

The food was ok - we were not that impressed. The service was extremely slow and there was no explanation as to what was being served in front of us.

Yelp
I had read good things about Les Apothicaires. The chefs are Brazilian and French, and I guess one of the chefs was on Top Chef before. The space is intimate, with cute shelves of books, jars of preserved foods, wine glasses. They also have 2 counter seats that look into the kitchen. The rest of the tables are intended for 2-4 people, though I suppose you could push together some of the tables for 2. The glass wine list was small (about 2 sparkling, 3 whites, 3 reds, rose, beer). They had a more extensive list by the bottle. They do an 8 course for €59 (including VAT and service), which is a hot deal. There's one menu per night, but they can work with dietary restrictions / food allergies if needed. 1. Curd of milk, autumn broth, smoked onion, black currants, lovage, leaves, quince: nice and light, with a focus on the fresh quince. 2. Gravalax with pollen and grated daikon with rice powder on top. 3. Roasted cabbage: caramelized cabbage with roasted wheat vinaigrette, grilled tofu skin, mung bean sprouts. Very flavorful for a vegetable dish. 4. Cocos de paimpol: white beans with fresh and fermented cepe, coffee powder, and cepe powder. Hearty and good for the fall. 5. Roasted monkfish, crumbled pumpernickel, tamarind hollandaise. Or Roast beef cap with 3 types of pickles, Brazilian bread crumb condiment. Of the main dishes, the beef was the winner for me. Add on: Cheese plate (€9) or 3 French cheese (a goat cheese, a brie, and a Beaufort). Transition: House black currant infusion (non alcoholic) 6. Kiwi, green olives, absinthe granita, citrus, herbs - who would have thought olives and kiwi would make a great combination? It was very refreshing 7. Chocolate ice cream, hazelnut biscuits, mushroom chips, mushrooms, and dark chocolate shavings. I didn't ever think mushrooms and chocolate would work together, but the earthiness of the mushrooms worked well with the mushrooms 8. To finish: - Salted caramel biscuit with vinegar whipped cream - Brazilian chocolate: like a chocolate caramel Service was also very friendly and more than I expected for a less formal place (ex they folded the napkins when I went to the restroom). After days of heavy eating, I really appreciated this more seasonal, vegetable focused menu. I especially appreciated the desserts - super creative combinations that worked - green olive + kiwi; chocolate + mushrooms.

Yelp
Absolutely spectacular meal there on their prix fixe lunch menu. Service was also outstanding. Highly recommend if you are in Lyon. Restaurant is cozy, so I suspect you'll need reservations in advance.

Yelp
A local friend recommended this place to us. She simply said, "You won't be disappointed." What an understatement. Out of the menu du jour we chose a white fish appetizer with potatoes, a pork entree on a corn purée, and a dessert of plums with candied rose petals and ice cream. Each dish was not only beautifully presented, but also had fantastically complex flavors and textures. Everything worked well with one another. We were far from disappointed. In fact, this has become one of our "must-try" restaurants for Lyon.

Yelp
Reservation only. Doesn't answer the phone for the whole day. Not a single table available even if you go right at 7:30pm. Terrible experience.

Yelp
Inventive and finely executed all six courses. A welcoming staff and chefs present the food directly in a warm and comfortable environment. What a fine way and place to spend an evening eating so well. Marveilleux. Compliments to all.
