Les Ateliers Auguste

My dad got me a bag from this business for my birthday. I chose this brand after a long time of research. The leather and hardware quality is top and I liked the design of the bag, minimal, clean and versatile. I would prefer to avoid brands such as Gucci, LV or anything part of the LVMH or Kering group as the prices are not justifiable and I just don’t trust these big conglomerates. I’d like to say I’m more of a conscious shopper. I’d rather support independent businesses. I did buy it online, the service was really good. I received my bag literally 3 days after ordering it. Super efficient. The only thing I would say is that I wish the bag was designed so that the leather strap could be switched with a chain to make it that much more versatile and dressy. 10/10 would recommend.

A wonderful local business owned by two brothers selling beautiful leatherwork - bags and accessories. I purchased a fabulous cross body bag. The shop is lovely and you can take your time to browse. The leather is great quality. Something special to remember my time in Paris.

I want to express my gratitude to the brand store for their high level of service and customer focus. Recently, my girlfriend encountered an unpleasant situation: the coating on the clasp of her favorite handbag started to peel off. Upon contacting the store, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff accepted the bag for service without any questions. The clasp was replaced very quickly and efficiently on the very same day. Thank you so much for your speed and professionalism!

Long time customer of Ateliers Auguste and highly recommended them. The men's wallet bought about 4 years ago still looks brand new despite heavy daily use, the leather has barely developed a patina, the sealant is so robust. I also gifted a men's backpack from here 3 years ago to my husband. He has put it through all weather conditions, used it everyday and the structure and leather is still in tip top condition! Some details needed repair though so we dropped the bag off Dec 24. They were so nice and made the repairs process so easy! I was extremely impressed. I've had a lot of designer goods over the years needing repairs and Ateliers Auguste by far has the best process. Don't hesitate to trust the brand's integrity. Of course, the products are also lovely!

Visited the shop 3 weeks ago on my last trip to Paris and purchased my first bag from this brand. There were 3 girls working and they were all super friendly and helpful which made for a great shopping experience!

I ordered this bag from Seattle because you really cannot find a better quality and customer care anywhere here! The whole shipment experience was easy and fast, I recommend anyone who is thinking of ordering from outside of France, the owners do a pristine job. Oh and the bag! I came here 4 years ago and I still remember talking to the owner. He was so friendly. I know this review is SUPER late... but I still use the bag I bought here to this day. It's still holding up well. Hopefully when the COVID situation is resolved with the vaccine, I can come back to visit the shop again. Great customer service. Great product.
