Great quality food against decent price. Cosy and down to earth French style restaurant. The menu had a great variety of choices and all seemed local produce, fresh excellent and creative taste. They had a kids menu with simple choices but excellent quality, not your usual fries, nuggets or spaghetti. Good beef with fresh seasonal vegetables even for kids. We were here on a day trip so didn’t reserve on a Thursday evening , got lucky as we entered when they just opened and still had place, else I imagine it’s much harder to get a place as it seems popular with locals and places are limited. Would highly recommend!

A hidden gem that you have to test if you’re around. We had preselected menus that night with an Egyptian theme. We tested both Starters were really good with a special shoutout to the leeks soup with lentils ! Goat cheese was really nice as well Fish and chicken dishes were really good with fresh ingredients and very well cooked Unfortunately deserts weren’t tasty at all and we left them nearly untouched Service was fast and nice

What a pleasant restaurant. The seating is limited, so arrive early it fills up fast. Had lunch, the daily plate was chicken. It was a delicious menu, starter, salad, main plate and dessert. I would say the portion sizes are perfect. I was satisfied and full. The wine selection was very good with price points to satisfy most customers. I plan to go again on my next trip.

Small traditional restaurant with warm staff and excellent food.

Saw this place when wandering around Blois in the afternoon but was unable to get an answer on thecphonecto book a table for that evening. Turned up in the evening and gotca table for 4. The restaurant was busy with manylocals coming in, always a good sign. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal. Service was excellent.

Ate here today, had the menu of the day - the food was superb as was the service.

Came for dinner around 8, which seemed ok the late side for them. With no reservation, they were hesitant to let us have a table but had space. Best meal I’ve had in years. Great service and the staff spoke English and appreciated our minimal French. They did have an English menu too which was appreciated.

When in Blois one should most definitely dine at Les Banquettes Rouges. Upon arrival you will be welcomed with crispy bread and a delicious tapenade in a cosy ambience. It is clear that the food is prepared by a passionate chef and served by a heartwarming staff. In short; lovely local food and wines. C'est très parfait. Big love 😘🥳

Wonderful local fare on a quiet scenic street. Service was great , fair prices and great value. The wine of the month a Rose was excellent paired with the quail skewers, mozzarella tomato chicken first course. Desert light fresh fruit pastry was the perfect ending to a great dining experience! They even spoke some "American" with a smile!

Jumbo prawns were definitely expired and had to send them back. Everything else was okay but lady was trying to argue like 'that's not possible' and I was like try this bc it's fing gross

I ate in /on the banquettes rouges last summer and will recommend the restaurant. The owners are very friendly (but not pushy), we were made to feel very welcome. The food was very good and the wine list extensive. The patron had good knowledge of the wines in offer and could recommend a good local red that complemented my meal. Pudding was nice too.

A great little dinner with delicious and creative dishes and alluring presentation. Plenty of food, a good wine selection, and welcoming hosts. The layout was a little tight but the food quality more than made up for the close quarters.

Wow, for the price one of the best restaurant deals in the Loire Valley We ordered the prix fixe menu and it didn't disappoint. They have a bilingual menu, so even if you don't know French, you are well taken care of. The beef dishes were excellent and prepared to our liking--and even ordering glass of Chinon wine didn't break the bank.
