Very high quality exhibits and covers archaeology of Namur from Paleolithic period up to the middle ages. The fossils, Roman coins and Merovingian artefacts were beautiful to look at. There's several video demonstrations of ancient techniques were very enjoyable. The main complaint is that there is hardly any English, which makes it difficult to get immersed even for someone fascinated with archaeology.

Fantastic archaeological collection, some of the best Roman glass I've ever seen. Completely free and they provided an excellent tablet with English translations. Lovely staff, we spoke to one man in particular about the Roman cemetery who was very passionate and knowledgeable, he made the experience even more memorable.

A great surprises found in the center of Namur, it is free of charge but staff is very friendly and helpful, the museum is not very big but has interesting decorations to show the life style of 18th century. Especially the kitchen showroom inside is definitely worth a visit.
