Les Baux de Paris

Good but not great. Certainly good value for money and the home made profiterole off the Euro 21.50 lunch menu was excellent but the steak and moussaka were only OK, as were the salad and charcuterie appetizers, and the food really was dumped unceremoniously on the plainest plates possible. See pictures. A good deal overall and the staff are friendly and efficient and the atmosphere kinda kitschy and cute and you’d better like bouzouki music.

Honestly a perfect meal. The owner was so kind and welcoming. The staff was very attentive and the decor was warm as if you were in a French home. I had the spritz, shrimp with warm goat cheese, and the filet de boeuf. Excellent!! This is a special place. I will return. Merci!

I can’t rate this place highly enough! We were lucky to get a spot, were seated and our order was taken within minutes and the food came faster than we anticipated which we appreciated. I had the Boeuf Bourguignon and it was hearty and melted in my mouth. The food is really well priced. One of the best food experiences on our trip.

Magnifique! That’s the one word I would use to describe my experience at Les Baux de Paris. If you’re looking for a beautifully set small restaurant with charming staff, amazing chef and Parisian cuisine look no further. Loved the plat du jour and chefs recommandations. Must visit if you’re ever in Paris.

Homely diner offeting French mains and greek sides. Lunch menu is very worth it. Service was very hospitable.

Great find So we walked up and down Rue Mouffetard searching for a suitable restaurant. We started with Les Baux de Paris, but continued searching, just in case something even better was about. But we came back to it as it was the most appealing. The blonde lady who runs the place was very friendly, and very funny. She offered us an English menu - her own English, by her own admittance, was a bit weak, as is my own French but we got by fine. The waitress was also very good, friendly and has good English (thankfully) and also a good sense of humour. There is a 3 course menu, which although called a Lunch menu, we were allowed to order from in the evening. It's good value (and the tap water in a jug is free!) . There is a "Sirloin with pepper sauce" and NO! You don't have to pay extra for it, like you do at home. I got it, and I liked it very much. I promised them I would come back again, particularly as I was staying at the Young and Happy hostel immediately across the road. As we were out late the next 2 nights, we never did, but we made a point of going back there for our final evening, so impressed were we by them. Sadly, and unusually, it was closed that particular evening which was disappointing. But if I'm in Paris again, I would definitely go back ... even just for the laughs I had with the manager and the waitress - and the good food too.

Les Baux de Paris is a wonderful restaurant! A charming ambience and even more charming host. We enjoyed the duck in orange sauce and the beef in a green pepper sauce. A wide variety of drinks, wine, and cocktails . The desserts were heavenly! If you’re in this area in Paris, do not miss Las Baux!

We really enjoyed every aspect of our dinner at Les Baux de Paris. The food was delicious and made with pride. This is our second time dining here from our last trip to Paris. We absolutely love it!! They know their menu well with great detail. The atmosphere is very lively full of joy and happy energy. Our servers were so helpful and kind. We absolutely loved our time there.

Happened upon this restaurant and were so glad! Delicious food and friendly service. Would definitely recommend!
