Outstanding food, service and quality. This place deserves 7 ⭐️ Really loved it. We were a group of four and after checking many restaurants- we said let’s give it a try. We wished we would have discovered this place earlier. The cost is fair too.

This is a lovely restaurant in the old town, I ordered the steak and for me it needed to be cooked a little bit more, the waitress returned with a new steak and it was delicious I have to say this restaurant is top class, My wife had the seafood mix and she loved it. When we finished our meal, the waitress returned with a free dessert as apology and said they take care of their customers. Thank you Anna we loved our meal and our time in Bucharest.

The Bourgeois is a brilliant Bistro. The most beautiful food and great service from Claudio. Couldn’t recommend more as avid foodies!

We celebrated my birthday and the first anniversary of our engagement at Bourgeois Restaurant, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but the real highlight was the service. Ariana, our waitress, delivered true 5-star hospitality. As someone with experience working in a luxury hotel, I can confidently say her service was on that level – warm, attentive, and professional. The ambiance in the heart of Bucharest’s Old Town added to the charm. Highly recommended for any special occasion. Thank you, Bourgeois and Ariana, for a truly memorable evening!

Fillet steaks purchased, 1 well done and 1 medium rare. Both cooked perfectly. Attentive staff would recommend.

I popped in for some lunch when I arrived in the city. At first it’s a little difficult to tell if you’re okay to go in at lunch time as it’s a bit quiet, but once I walked in I was greeted by a lovely waiter who sat me down and talked me through picking either the lunch menu or the main menu. I went for the lunch menu and got a starter and main for a ridiculously reasonable price. The food really was tasty despite being simple, and the service from the waiter was top notch. If I’m ever back in the area I’d definitely visit again. It’s worth noting I was a bit skeptical about luck with vegetarian options, but there were several which was great!
