All the comforts of home, but without the work! It's clean and comfortable, and Pierre is a great host. It's a nice walk along to river to the old town, and Pierre gave us lots of tips on what to see. Best of all was his breakfast with fresh baked goods and homemade jams and yogurts. It's perfect for a short stay in Metz.

Our spacious, well-equipped room overlooking the garden had a balcony with a view of the cathedral through trees and over a lake. The bathroom also had a window. A pleasant 20-minute walk across the riverside park took us to the town centre. The excellent breakfast includes freshly-pressed fruit juices and home-made jams. There is good wifi and private parking. M. Brunet is the perfect host. Highly recommended.

Chambres d'hôtes Les Iles in Concarneau is a Breton house with Breton hosts, Cyril and Claudie. ||Both are lovely and breakfasts are a home-made affair with Cyril's crèpes and petit Bretons and Claudie's delicious jams.||There is a fridge on the landing for the convenience of guests and tea/coffee making facilities in each room. However, you need to take your own milk as none is provided!||One major downside is that there is one single toilet upstairs although our rooms had there own bathrooms.||We took my father so this wasn't a problem but it would have been, had the other room been let to someone.||Cyril's knowledge of the truly delightful wk down to a small beach and creek provided us with a lovely afternoon full of simple pleasures.

Stayed overnight in this cute B&B on our way to Paris! Wished we had booked for a few more nights! 20min beautiful walk by the river to the old town. Pierre was very informative about directions & breakfast the following morning was absolutely delightful! Fresh baguettes, croissants, local cheese, homemade jams, freshly squeezed Mirabelle/Orange juice & percolated coffee!!! Highly recommend

A huge thank you to Pierre for his caring and attentive service in every regard. He was able to pick us up from the train station (pre-arranged) and then didn't baulk when we had to change our booking from two nights to one because we had to arrange for an early trip home.||The B&B is located in a residential part of town, but still easy walking distance into the city centre (about 15 minutes) via the lovely lake area. ||The room and its services are very good - there's even a fridge and tea making facilities in the hallway outside. Breakfast downstairs is as good as you'd want - the usual fresh bread and home made jams. A lovely garden outside, if you've got time you could relax out there.||Pierre's restaurant recommendation also proved a winner - though be aware that if you order the Choucrute Royale at Mirabelliere restaurant there will be a number of pigs that die for your dining pleasure!||At 70 euro a night this is as good as it gets.

We found this b&b on trip advisor and booked based on other reviews. We were not disappointed. Ann & Pierre were wonderful hosts. The facilities were very good. The room was lovely and homely with a modern bathroom. Pierre couldn't do enough for us. Our hosts spoke excellent English and gave us very good advice for dining and sight seeing. They even let us use their laundry. Would definitely stay again and recommend highly to friends.

We stayed in the top floor room which was immaculate and comfortable. Pierre provided a delicious tarte for breakfast with fresh breads and jams and cooked an omelette for my husband who is coeliac. The hot water failed in the morning but Pierre lit the boiler so the shower worked, phew!

Clean, comfortable and very friendly with a great breakfast. Pierre sorted out our wi-fi problem very quickly and we had a good nights rest here. Enjoyed the leisurely and very tasty breakfast chatting with Pierre. If we ever pass this way again would definitely stay again.
