Was very grateful that I experienced my first wine pairing dinning at this restaurant. Would definitely recommend the high quality combination of food, wines and services. A perfect place to enjoy a delightful fine dinning We were welcomed by the reception staff and led to the half-outdoor seats. This area was like an extension of the indoor part however could bath in cheerful sunlight due to the translucent ceiling. It provided a wonderful atmosphere at dinner time where you could experience the changes of daylight and ended your meal at night. I was impressed by almost every dishes served on that day from the four appetizers until the desserts. I especially liked the decorations and the clever thought of the onion appetizers. The restaurant boldly dressed the raw seabass with oyster ice cream! The main dishes that day concentrated on different kinds of fishes and lambs, they were all great and the specific flavor of the goat curd was very very strong. You really have to admire the professionalism of the sommeliere here. The wines chosen the day were mostly apple-based and perfectly functioned their job with the dishes. There might be preferences on those selections but we were eventually contented with the pairings and introductions. In terms of desserts, the yuzu one was relatively tarnished by comparison because its less delicate flavor, chocolate and madeleine were awesome!

The food was so good that we reordered our appetizer (the langoustine). Everything we ordered was delightful and balanced. We appreciate that they have the a la carte option, since lamb and cheese dishes are not our favorite. Service was 8/10 (lacked attentiveness at times). Elegant space and cozy ambiance.

Google
very nice and dedicate restaurant with amazing vocabulary like Burgundy wine menu. Mandarin style decorated yard and dining areas put you in extreme elegance when do the fine wine and fine dine. One thing to remind and suggest is that servant should definitely check client with food allergy, and somm should pour for taste before serving it, pitifully not for my table. Good luck is so far so good.

From the moment you walk in…. It’s stuffy, no air circulation. Service is sooooo slow. Took good 10 min just to get noticed once seated. Food ok. I had 7 course dinner…. Not delicious at all. Not satisfying. Had higher expectations. Waited 20 min from empty plate to desert to be served. Waiter literally sneezed on me, gross. I’m a foodie. And this is not the place to be satisfied or to feel welcomed. Just because it’s expensive doesn’t mean it’s good. Wait along ruins the whole experience. Staff ignoring you is cherry on top. Ridiculous. I have nice delicious dinners that way over this price point all the time. This place doesn’t deserve the attention, sadly, unfortunately. Wanted to love it.

We were quite disappointed with the food. For all the finesse that was apparently applied in the preparation of the dishes, the taste was not anything special. I would not have rated the food any higher than the food in the average French neighbourhood restaurant in a blind test. The service was correct, but stiff rather than welcoming. This is also reflected in the atmosphere. The place also attracted a lot of wealthy tourists when we were there, so it was a bit of a boring show-off place. The decor is great. Overall not a very memorable experience, certainly not a place that met our expectations for a Michelin star restaurant.

We had initially made a reservation for six in the winter garden, but unfortunately two couldn’t join us. Therefore upon arrival we were moved to another table inside. The entire restaurant is situated in a beautiful Art Nouveau building and the decor is elegant. The staff, of which only one waiter was mildly snobbish, promptly presented us with with both the food and wine menu, though referring to the latter as merely a menu does not do it justice in the slightest. The hardcover book boasts a near 3000 different wines and even features maps to help visualise the origins. Throughout our meal there was always a loaf of fresh sourdough bread at our table, which I quite enjoyed, though it was nothing to write home about, as this should be standard at any such restaurant. For my meal I chose to share an appetiser with my cousin, as we weren’t particularly hungry. The staff kindly accommodated us in this respect, preparing each half a portion and plating it twice (see picture below). For my main I chose the pigeon, which included both the breasts and wings. It was done excellently, though I should mention that the others at my table weren’t as fortunate with their choices. My sister went with the lunch menu and opted for the braised lamb shoulder as her main, which unfortunately was quite mediocre. My cousin and aunt each had the red mullet, which was good, but did not blow them away. And with a price tag of 56 euros (just for the main), not great value. Desert was very good across the board. My aunt and sister both had an abstract but excellent strawberry creation. Once again my cousin and I shared a dish, the equivalent in chocolate with hints of ginger and citrus. It was really good and I would recommend that anyone, who eats here, tries the “chocolat abinao et gingembre”. Altogether a great experience, but unfortunately a couple dishes weren’t all too great. This doesn’t quite justify the steep price. Nevertheless, take this as a earring to chose your dishes carefully, rather than not to go.

Google
Just a great experience end to end. First, the staff was very attentive - my water glass was always filled, same for the wine, despite the restaurant being completely full. Second, the food was amazing (have a look at the pictures) and truly creative - just a real pleasure. Third, the entire atmosphere in the restaurant is nice - it feels like Paris as people imagine it, with the layout and the professionalism of the service. Just great.

Google
This was our only Michelin Starred restaurant we indulged ourselves with on our trip and WOW do they deliver. Ambiance, service, pacing of the food, ingredients sources locally/seasonally, everything was perfect and the pricing is very reasonable. We had 3 amuse bouches, sardunest, foie gras, bass and deer. The good: The whole dining experience was wonderful but the 2 star dishes for me were the following: This foie gras was so good that I will never get foie gras in the states ever again. The technique here is next level: not a hint of gamey-ness, and the dish was so well balanced you didn't need any bread with it. The deer dish was cooked similarly to perfection. You couldn't taste any gamey-ness, if you blindfolded me, I would have guessed it was a filet mignon. The bad: Nothing. It's just that good. And you don't leave feeling too full either.

Yelp
We had lunch reservations for a party of two; and we were initially seated in the atrium. Being late June, it was a bit warm given we were wearing business attire. At our request, we were graciously moved to the main dining area without any fuss. The main dining area had larger, Asian style round tables with plenty of space between tables. So, we could see that evenings could be equally pleasant and not feel too crowded. The interior of the main dining room could easily have been inside the Raffles Hôtel in Singapore: dark woods, cieling frescoes reminiscent of tropical environs. The "Cav" had a huge selection...modern mechanism with à great selection of wines, with à wall and an entire, climate-controlled room. The wine menu was a book about as big as an ancient Bible. Fortunately, there was a slimmed-down version included with the lunch menu. We had a choice of à tasting menu, prix-fixe, or a-la-carte. We chose the set méal which offered two choices each of an entrée, platte, & dessert or cheese plate w/salade. ....but first we were served "complimentary" appetizers. Subsequently we continued with green asparagus from Provence, served warm. Our main dish was a tender pork side cut overlaid with white asparagus and drizzled with à réduction sauce. One of us ordered the cheese plate and I ordered the dessert which was a coffee ice cream over à pastry crumble covered with à mousse....and finished with the obligatory expresso. Service was perfect, unrushed, and unpretencious. Tablecloths were brushed/scrapped clean between courses and utensils and plates replaced. The prix-fixe lunch is the best deal in town as dinner reservations can be difficult to obtain and can be expensive. Michelin Guide rated, one star. Beautiful interoir, full bar, amazing wine selection, créative and delicious food with impeccable service. English and French spoken. Child-friendly at lunch-time. Lunch and dinner hard-close at 4:30 pm and 12:30 à.m. respectively. You will esdentially be kicked-out so the place can prep for dinner or for employées to get some sleep. Snag à dinner reservation if you can. Proper attire required - business casual minimum. Don't be that guy with a man, hair-bun who gets turned away.

Yelp
There is a lot to unpack here. It was my first Michelin Star dining experience, and so in a way, I have nothing to compare it to. That being said, it was exceptional. One of the greatest experiences of my life, both in a foodie sense and a ~human living on this planet~ sense. I loved the room we got to sit in, a little airy and bright in contrast with the front room which feels very heavy and dramatic. I loved our server, server assistant, som, and the fellow guests at the restaurant (nothing ruins a great meal, like annoying people at the table next to you). I loved how large our table for 2 was. It never felt crowded and the dishes were synced up so well that there was never too much on the table. It's almost like they are professionals ;) We chose this restaurant because it is known for its Burgundy Wines, and so naturally this is where we started. Ultimately we decided to order a la carte, instead of going with the tasting menu. But, it was cool to see that the tasting menu is available without pre-ordering. The highlights of the meal were without a doubt the amuse-bouche and starters. Even the bread was miraculous, mostly because of the perfectly salted butter. If you are eager to go here, definitely book a reservation. If you would like to sit in the darker room, plan your reservation later in the evening or request it specifically. Plan to spend at least 2 to 3 hours, even if you don't order dessert. This whole restaurant feels like a dream.

Yelp
Amazing experience as a solo diner! Reservations are easy to make on their website and plentiful. I scored one only a couple of days in advance. The space is absolutely gorgeous, with huge windows and skylights that look out onto an inner courtyard, sort of like you're in a greenhouse. The staff were impeccable from beginning to end, and I never felt like I was treated worse because I was alone or because I only got the lunch menu and a glass of wine. Everyone was friendly and professional. The food was fantastic, exactly what I would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. Creative, perfectly cooked/executed, and filling. I particularly liked the attention paid to the amuse bouche and dessert, since sometimes those things are a little bland, but in my case, they were the highlights of the meal! Exceptionally reasonably priced, too. Lunch sets are an absolute steal in Paris. I will definitely be back on my next trip.

Yelp
The complexity of some dishes were mesmerizing. The tasting menu was worth splurging on. The ambiance is about the old world charm. Very elegant. The waiters were not as friendly as the other Michelin restaurants we have eaten at. Not as attentive. Nor were they warm and friendly. Their attitude fits the decor.

Yelp
Having dinner at Le Climats is a francophile's dream. The atmosphere is perfectly polished, intimate and highly styled. The dinner courses carefully crafted, refined and elegant. Every bite was beautifully presented and taste divine. Husband choose this luxurious restaurant as an ongoing celebration of our anniversary. This is definitely an over the top kind of place. The service was very attentive. There were multiple servers and managers checking in on us. Asking about how each course faired. I was taken aback at first, since the high back chairs suggested they encouraged an intimate setting. I was soon amused as they were quite entertaining in their jolly demeanor. I quickly caught on that they were afraid that my pregnant self wasn't happy with the food and some substitutions. I was more than happy, we were very full from the dinner. Each course a surprise and every course satisfying. The only 1 star I took off was for the weak salad I was served because I couldn't have an unpasteurized cheese course. Very nice meal at a beautiful place. A very expensive dinner so if you're on a budget maybe consider the lunch instead.

Yelp
I'm a wine maker in Italy and went there with friends. The food was ok and given the price and all the fanfare I would say it's pretty mediocre. We ordered 3 bottles of expensive wines (north of 300 euros each). One of the bottles was clearly corked and oxidized and the sommelier refused to accept that. Kept saying things that made no sense as to why the wine was tasting off. Among 4 people at the table nobody liked the wine and hardly drank any of it. Long story short he proceeded with charging us for the bad bottle. Short sighted and downright a stupid way of treating a customer. There was no point in further arguing because I didn't want to embarrass my guests. And I would not go back obviously because of this unpleasant episode but also because all and all it's a typical pumped up French restaurant with no substance and huge prices. Please send your "sommelier" back to sommelier school and while you are at it also send him to ethics school!

Yelp
This founder-influenced restaurant in Paris has got it going. Combination of delicious and creative food (e.g. mushroom foie gras toast) and the personalized service that began with two servers opening the double doors in a perfectly timed, over the top welcome for our arrival. The arts and crafts decor is beautiful, and the desert merits its own paragraph... All grey. Shards that seem sharp but break down when you bite into them. The sesame ice cream, passionate fruit and meringue, somehow all came together to create a transformative experience. We were reminded of Grant Achatz's on the table desert in terms of how the different elements broke down into unique but cohesive bites. There was a wonderful attention to detail throughout. Hoping you get the extra Michelin stars you deserve. Merci Les Climats!

Yelp
I visited here lunchtime some weekend, after 2 hours trip on Eurostar. Atmosphere and decor inside were really nice. Wine I selected was not so impressive. Course was quite traditional, nothing fresh but taste good. Considering prices, this place is not worth higher than 4 stars here.

Yelp
We did 150 French restaurants in 1 month and Les Climats was #1. My wife and I are highly sensitive and critical of food and wine. We highly value environment and presentation as well as accommodating personalities in servers, sommeliers. We are also fond of exceptional reservation etiquette and seating locations for each of the places we visit. But most of all the food and wine. This place fired on all cylinders. As part of our 150 restaurants, we have had the pleasure of dining at 3 star restaurants, brassieres, boulangeries, with countryside families and with winemakers in Paris, Bordeaux, Beaune and Burgundy - and this unassuming place swept us away with its down to earth perfection. Anything you order will be perfectly timed and cooked with love. The environment is reminiscent of a garden encased in glass. The lighting is glorious and the table spacing is far enough apart to allow for intimate conversation. The staff greets you joyfully and will seat you immediately. You may want to allow for 3 hours for the full meal experience. Make reservations ahead of time to help the kitchen out. 8pm is a great start time. Order the sweetbread. Just do it. We had it 6 times at 6 different restaurants in France and this place does it on a heavenly level. Let the sommelier choose your wine for you. Their burgundy encyclopedia will give you a headache unless you're a geographical expert of the region...just trust her. €380 for a moderate bottle of wine, 2 aperitifs, 1 preset menu and 1 la carte menu. Glorious...simply glorious.

Yelp
Best quality ingredients served at Les Climats matched equally by top notch service and attention to detail. Reserve a table in the conservatory or garden terrace for a memorable experience. -- Highlights: bluefin tuna entree on a corn cracker with guacamole style avocado topped with fresh sorrel and the main of seafood from Brittany coast with spring vegetables and broth seasoned with herbs and pesto. My friend ordered the roasted breast fillet with whelks and seaweed hollandaise sauce that was so flavorful. -- 45Euros for the 3 course lunch menu plus amuse bouche and petits fours. They catered to my friend who is gluten intolerant with a special mini loaf of bread to go with her appetizer and petits fours were replaced by a refreshing sorbet of fresh herbs and meringue. Les Climats is 5 minutes walk from Musee D'Orsay. Our first visit was extra special because Carole Colin happened to be at the restaurant and greeted us when we arrived.

Yelp
Imagine if you could buy a Van Gough from Van Gough or buy Google at its IPO price in 2004, well that is what it is like eating at this restaurant. Having just earned its first Michelin Star in 2015, the restaurant is clearly not resting on its laurels. In all aspects, this restaurant impresses, and in many respects, exceeds expectations in remarkable and unique ways. The decor is classy, intimate, but not intimidating. The tables are set aside, so you dine with privacy. It is actually known for it's glass ceiling, which was not applicable as we ate there in December at night. The Sommelier immediately come to your table to suggest a drink, and forcefully but respectfully make suggestions; the restaurant specializes in Burgundy, so the wines are focused around this expertise. Before you even order, they bring scrumptious appetizers, a whipped chopped liver and beautiful raw fish. Crackers that can only be described as light, dense and rich. Our family chose the price fixed menu (my wife and I had the wine flight as well), with a big twist. My daughter is a Vegan. We explained this plot twist with trepidation and fear, wondering if the Parisian food g-ds would expel us from a restaurant that had already exceed our expectations. Sure enough the chef immediately made his way over our table; we were in trouble now. The charming chef, young by any stretch of a Michelin star restaurant, inquired as to our daughter's needs. No meet? No fish? No butter? Really? Was going to be hard, he opined, in broken English, but he was up to the challenge. And was he. The 6 course meal, which came at a leisurely, but continuous pace had to many hight-lights to express in this review. The veal was the best I had ever tasted. Chewy in a unique way, and perfectly cooked. Oyster Carpaccio, wow, what a unique and special dish. And my daughters Vegan meal, OMG (talking in her 15 year old dialect). Hazelnut foam over beets. Might have been the best thing served. I will post pics of the food to further tease your tastes. Suffice it to say, I have never eaten so many dishes so innovative yet without any misses. The meal, which lasted a little over 3 hours, flew by. By the time we were served our 3 desert course (this is Paris after all), I was a little nervous over the contents of the imminent bill. When it was provided to me, with the subtlety only a French waiter can do, I opened it up to scary music playing, to be surprised at the modest nature of the number facing me. Now, let's be clear, that this is not an inexpensive restaurant, but when you compare it to comparable restaurants, the meal was a steal. The 4 euro designation might be deserved, but this is on the very inexpensive end of that. In sum, thank you for the experience Les Climats. G-d willing, we will be back.

Yelp
A gem off the well beaten path. For wine lovers, a must....for gourmands a must-must! A lovely quiet setting to enjoy all of your senses as well as your company. Try the initiation menu with wine pairings...and chat with the sommelier or even the gracious hostess "Caroline". Be prepared for a wonderfully enchanting evening. No rush here, but it will take about 2-3 hours to complete. Bon appétit!

Tina L.

Yelp
Amazing dining experience from start to finish. Impeccable decor that utilizes elements of nature, open air dining area, garden like ambience, and superb food to pair with. The one star was well deserved and about time! We got the menu initiation and were recommended wine to compliment the meal. The service was personal and warm, everyone was genuine and pleasant. We especially love the sommelier who made wonderful recommendation from aperitif to dinner wine. Worthy of mentions: everything , really. The John Dory was great; seafood opener with crab razor clam was beyond words, and the petit fours was delicately delicious. Not a huge fan of the pigeon and cabbage although I considered briefly licking the anchovy sauce off the plate. Will definitely come back again. Reservation highly recommended. It's nice to dress up although we ended up being pretty casual. Thanks for a great meal!

Regina L.

Yelp
There are so many good things I will say about this establishment, but I'll say this: the service was impeccable. It was impeccable in a way that was a little unexpected. This was my first time at a Michelin star restaurant, and for some reason I felt a bit anxious (did I dress nice enough, I don't speak French very well, I'm not sure of the fine dining etiquette). They picked up on it and smoothly made me feel absolutely at home while simultaneously feeding me the most fabulous food I've ever eaten. I suspect my number of 5-star ratings on Yelp will drop after this, actually. Example: we observed the decorum of the servers at several tables, and saw that they individually tailored their service for the diners. For us, they were a little more laid back and highly approachable. They were remarkably observant, picked up on our mannerisms, and talked to us about the wine options without the least bit of condescension. And of course, the food. Omg the food and drink. I'd describe it, but you'll have to go for yourself to find out.

J C.

Yelp
Fabulous Lunch, 3 course, at 45 Euros per person plus wine. The food was so plentiful I could not finish each course. My waiter was handsome, helpful, discreet and efficient. I would definitely return and I HIGHLY recommend this lovely place.

WW L.

Yelp
Fancy place near our hotel. Really classy and sophisticated decor and clientele. Food was ok but service was delightful.

Allan S.

Yelp
I eat at this wonderful restaurant in May and it exceeded my expectations. The service was exceptional and the food matched the very high level of excellence, I hope to have the pleasure of dining there again on my next trip to Paris

Steve G.

Yelp
An excellent experience from start to finish. We ordered the initiation menu with wine pairings and we not disappointed. The decor was elegant and the wait staff very friendly. For wine enthusiasts, the selection was extensive. For myself a bit intimidating but that is the beauty of our wine pairing selection. We could just sit back and let the chef feed us dish after dish of delicious food with a glass of well matched wine with every course. Simply a wonderful experience on our last night in Paris.

Helen J.

Yelp
Delicious and creative food with beautiful decor. The wine list is impressively daunting, and the sommelier was friendly and helpful (despite our atrocious French!). Couldn't ask for a better relaxing lunch spot and all for a reasonable price considering the quality. Great location for a bite to eat following a morning visit to the Musee d'Orsay...

Carlos J.

Yelp
Absolutely great Restaurant! The attentive service was exceptional; only surpassed by the awesome taste of the food and the beautiful presentation. Boasting a great (and vast) collection of wines and an interior decorated in a modern interpretation of Art Deco. Every dish was a delight to the eyes and a symphony to the other senses (smell, taste, texture). The cost for 3 was just under 225€ which was a bargain for the service and sensory experience.

Brooke G.

Yelp
Visiting Paris for the 1st time. My 18 y/o asked for one thing...a fancy French restaurant. My hotel, the Duminy Vendome, recommended this Michelin star rated gem. I tried the the Comte soufflé. It tasted like a heavenly, cheesy cloud. The main course was pigeon. Yuck, right? Heck no!!! It was the best meal I've ever eaten. The sommelier recommend a perfectly, velvety Gevery-Chamberlin red. I will remember this meal the rest of my life!

Sasha L.

Yelp
This was the perfect finale to our Paris honeymoon. Exquisite food in a stunning yet welcoming atmosphere.

Adrienne I.

Yelp
Exceptional service. From the start to the finish, everyone is extremely welcoming and professional. Everyone spoke English as well, which was a welcome benefit. We did the tasting dinner with the paired wines. All was wonderful. Even the pigeon I never thought I would eat...

Ser Z.

Yelp
Really Best kept secret in Paris go for lunch. And if you like burgundy. You will cry. Of joy Must try Fresh sautéed seasonal mushrooms. Cold salad of seafood and on Service at lunch is a bit snooty. But the food compensates Must

N H.

Yelp
The food was delicious but was a little too salty. (4.5 stars) The wait staff was professional but the service and courses were extremely slow to the point that we thought the waiter left for the evening before we had finished the last 2 courses. I do not know if this was the fault of the service staff or the kitchen. We enjoy leisurely meals but this bordered on ridiculous. (3 stars) Although it was a lovely setting, the temperature of the restaurant was stiflingly hot. I do prefer to dine without sweat dripping down my back. (3 stars) A total of 3.5 stars but I rounded to four because the food is the most important.

Hei C.

Yelp
Amex booked this one for us. We tried the testing menu. It is around 130 per person without wine. Not very impressed.

Craig T.

Yelp
I am on the fence on a rating here. 2 stars would be way too low for the quality of food but three stars is being very generous for the quality of service. So call me generous. The room was beautiful, we were greeted by opened doors, someone took our coats, we got a nice table. The wine list is extraordinary if a bit intimidating. But my friend is a sommelier, and the wine list was one of the prime reasons we chose Les Climats. We jumped in and ordered a bottle. On the food, we had the 7-course prix fixe. Some dishes were just good high-end food, and some were pretty amazing (I'm looking at you sea bass, crab w avocado, and pear dessert). Unfortunately, our one vegetarian substitution was the tortellini which was salty to the point of inedible. But I've never believed you bat a thousand, even in Michelin starred restaurants. Service went abruptly and bizarrely off the rails a couple of courses in when the Sommelier topped off my friend's wine glass with someone else's wine. Not the $200 plus bottle of red that was sitting on the table mere centimeters from her glass. Nope. A different bottle, for a different table that came off the side board across the room. He apologized and came back with a clean glass, but we were out a half glass of a very delicious and very expensive wine, and seriously, HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?! We are half in, everything else has been nice, so we let bottlegate go and move on, briefly detouring around the pasta salt mine. But there was an even bigger detour ahead, one that had us completely jump over the sixth course which would have been our first dessert. That's right-they skipped an entire course in our service. Again they apologized when this was brought to their notice, and shortly brought out the missing sixth course, but they had never bothered to clear the plates from what should have been our seventh course. When the waiter appeared with the new plates and saw old ones sitting in front of us, he seemed confused as to what to do. So he sat the new ones down next to the old ones (mine was completely finished and my friend didn't eat hers). We had to tell him to please clear the old plates. I'm glad we got the missing course because it was my second favorite thing of the night, but again, WTF? The staff seemed a bit perplexed and embarrassed by both mistakes. I honestly don't think that they had any frame of reference or idea what to do when faced with such blunders and were clearly ill equipped to handle them. But in no way did they ever even acknowledge or offer any suggestion that our experience had been compromised. It is my assumption that the progression of plates was designed by the chef to provide a specific culinary experience - that the pear course we missed which was light and acidic was a deliberate precursor to the final chocolate course which was dark and rich. And these kind of experiences are why you go to these kind of restaurants in the first place. The service doesn't have to be stellar, just unobtrusive. Get out of the way and let the food shine. Unfortunately, we could never enjoy the food the way it was intended because everything else left such a bad taste in our mouth.

Sarah L.

Yelp
An overall winner - great food, generous portion, and extensive wine list. Very affordable for lunch!

Jessica Q.

Yelp
If you go to visit Museum Orsay in Paris, this Michelin one stared place can be a great place for a nice lunch. We had the fixed menu lunch. My husband had fish. I had chicken, I think their chicken is the best I have ever had any where. Service was good, the ambience was old fashion but great. The creativity, presentation of the chef were good. However my experience at La Table d'Eugene (also Paris) probably a touch better. So 4.5 stars instead of 5.

Sharon M.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday and the experience couldn't have been nicer. The beautiful dining room, extensive wine list, helpful staff and of course, amazing superbly prepared tasting menu made for a memorable evening. We toasted Paris and its resilience one week after the tragedy.
