The hotel was okay overall. The location is excellent, but the service was very poor.
I asked if I could pay an additional €50 to check out at 5 PM on my last day, instead of the standard 12 PM checkout, as my flight was at 10 PM. I was told I would need to check on the day of departure, and if the room wasn’t already booked, I could extend my stay. I also asked if I could move to another room and pay for that instead, but I was told the hotel was fully booked.
On the last day, I asked again whether I could keep my room until 5 PM. They told me the room was already taken. I asked if I could move to any available room and pay for it, but again I was told that the hotel had no availability. However, when I checked Booking.com and the hotel’s own website, there were clearly rooms available.
It seems that once you've paid in full, the hotel is no longer interested in helping or accommodating you. This profit-oriented approach, rather than a customer-friendly policy, is the reason I am rating this hotel very poorly. I will not be staying here again.
