Les Filles Cafè

The atmosphere is really nice and has a natural touch to it. The service personnel are friendly but seemed a bit understaffed for the evening. The Negroni was good. The miso fish and babaganoush were delicious, but the fries were too salty for my liking. Overall, a good restaurant with good food and drinks.

The environment was amazing and it’s such a nice place, but then it’s a shame that the quality of the food didn’t match the expectations. We went for brunch and I asked for the Les Filles toast (brioche, avocado, spinach, poached egg), and when I opened the poach egg is was very watery (almost raw) and the color inside was very bright - they did not seem like organic eggs, as they claim so -, and this happened to me and my two other friends that asked for dishes with poached eggs. So we asked to change the poached egg of our dishes to scrambled eggs and the staff misunderstood us and unfortunately brought a plate with scrambled eggs (that were not even good and tasted like those from the hotel’s breakfast that have flower and milk, and are kinda tasteless - in the picture) and two smalls pieces of bread, for which they charged us 11€… Also, our other friend asked for the matcha pancakes and the proportion was ridiculously small for the price - also in the picture. Overall, so disappointing… The only thing really good were the fresh fruit juices, points for that!

1. Waiting for an order is very long. Half of the seats are empty, but just latte and water had to wait half an hour. 2. The waiters have unhappy faces. It is not very pleasant to watch this. 3. The table may not be cleared for a long time and you have to sit in this trash can.

Very disappointed at this place… expected so much better for the looks and the prices. We asked for the pancakes and avocado toast with poach egg and the pancakes were tiny, literally the size of one single pancake and costed 10,50€. The eggs in the avocado toasts came with a really weird liquid coming from the inside of the egg so we asked to change it to scrambled eggs since it is dangerous to eat almost completely raw egg especially in the hot weather. They brought us this toast in the picture without avocado, 2 tiny pieces of bread and scrambled eggs that tasted a lot of milk. And they charged us more for this than the price of the actual avocado toast we ordered initially. The attitude of the waiters when we complained just made it worse, they didn’t assume it was their mistake and told us we were the ones who asked for this. What a disappointment this place was. Such a shame because of the nice environment and decoration of the place.

Great vibe, decor, and food! They have some of the best baba ghanoush I’ve ever had in Barcelona - it’s a must try!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and unfortunately, the changes in their dishes have become very noticeable… yet the prices keep increasing. Comparing my recent visit to previous ones, the portions have significantly shrunk, and key elements have been removed while still charging extra. For example, the Mezze Platter, which used to be a generous and well-balanced dish, now consists of smaller portions, fewer olives, less bread (only a small amount of pita, whereas before there were different types), and missing elements that were once included. We even PAID EXTRA for chicken, and yet the overall portion felt much smaller than before. When I kindly mentioned this to the staff, my concerns were dismissed rather rudely. It’s disappointing to see a place that once offered great value and quality take this direction. Cutting portions while increasing prices is how you lose loyal customers. Hope management takes this into account. X

When there is no value for money it's hard to mention all the good things but unfortunately when you pay 50 euros at lunch for only 2 dishes (water and 1 wine) and you get hungry from the table - there is a problem. Service was great, the atmosphere is great and the location is great but not to have a menu del dias and to charge 27 euros for a super small dish of fish with puree - it's a shame. You can have amazing food in the city for 27 euros but this was too much and we went to eat more after that in another place...

No tables outside during summer, there’s not a lot of tables so it usually gets full, better book one beforehand. Homemade drinks come with sparkling water and it doesn’t say that in the menu.. service is very good, the guys were kind.
