Very nice pinchos loved them a lot. The arancini from the italian booth was ok (tookthe spinach mozza) Also a special mention to the latin american booth where I had amazing empanadas the axoa (wow) and the truffle ham. The alfajores was something very special which I highly recommend, I ordered the chocolate nutella one.

Just next to Cite du Vin, there are many food options with high-quality ingredients. They offer self-service, reasonable prices, and most of the staff is friendly. Good vibes .

One of my favourites places to eat in Bordeaux. There is a wide range of food, with savoury and sweet. They also offer wine, smoothies and cafe. There's sitting indoors and outdoors. And it's all super tasty and very cheap. Would have popped again if I had time yo try other option .

An amazing food experience, especially for those who love to explore & experience different tastes from around the world. We celebrated my husband's birthday and we had no trouble finding wine, cocktails, snacks, main food, cakes, & other types of food. Looking forward to coming back this evening.

Awesome place- so many different stalls. Highly recommend the galleteria. Clean, had Toilets and lots of seats.

We came here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised -- we went to the Paul Bocuse one in Lyon and thought it was a tourist trap. This one may still cater to tourists, but the food was good, the ambience was much better, and you can actually just get a few items in each place and try a little bit of everything in the shared seating areas. As for the food, we ordered steak from Bar A Viande, wine from Vinimarche, as well as chocolate mousse and vanilla flan from Tchu and everything was excellent. Would definitely recommend this food hall, and already planning on coming back tomorrow. Edit: We did come back 2 days after to L'etal Iberique, and were extremely disappointed. We each ordered 5 of the sliced bread with toppings on top (so 10 different ones), and they ranged from average to bad.. would not recommend this place, but still loved all the other establishments here.

The perfect place to have a bite or more. Big variety on local and international food and drinks, just opposite to the Vin City in Bordeaux. Les Halles Bacalan is a good option the entire day for locals and tourists.

Google
Food Hall with a wide variety of cuisine available. From tapas to seafood, galettes to steak, anyone should find something to tickle their fancy. Food was prepared quickly. Plenty of seating outside, though inside space was a bit more limited.

Yelp
Tons of delicious options. The interior is a bit tight on spacing but there's tons of outdoor seating. We got some iberico tapas as well as a dessert crepe and the food was all delicious. I love food halls and really liked this one as well.

Great place to gather and try some different bites and drinks. Locals for sure. Easy to find a table and plenty of people.

Yelp
Aloha, when visiting the cite vu din (wine museum) in Bordeaux, have lunch next door at Les Halles de Bacalan. A really cool food court of many different types of food. We 4 went in different directions and ended up tasting each others, so ono. A great way to have a quick snack/lunch. There really is something for everyone. Enjoy!

Yelp
This food hall is amazing! On a weeknight it was bustling and lively, and full of great food. There are a lot of different cuisines offered so it's easy to mix-and-match a bunch of foods. The prices are on the pricier end, but some of the vendors have very good, standard prices for what they're offering. The energy was fun to witness and it seems like a popular place for folks to go after work. Our group ended up coming here twice in one day because of how tasty the food was and how many options there were. Definitely worth checking out when you're in Bordeaux.

Yelp
This is the coolest indoor market/food hall I have ever been to. Like most tourists, we stumbled upon it when visiting the Cite du Vin across the street, and decided to check it out as well. Turns out, this was a very very good decision. After walking around for a little bit, we chose to buy most of our food from the Pintxo shop, having visited Spain a year ago, we wanted to relive our good memories. The Pintxos were all good, but their ham croquettes were especially delicious, creamy center with just enough little ham pieces. After the tapas, we walked over to the chocolate mousse store. This is the first time l've seen chocolate mousse being sold like ice cream. They had four flavors, from semi sweet to a little darker. We tasted them all and decided on one, and was very content!

Yelp
This fantastic food hall is located directly across the street from the new Cite du Vin wine 'theme park.' It's a wonderful place to grab a snack, meal or a drink before or after touring the museum. It isn't large but everything is of a very high quality. The size reminds me of the Oxbow Market in Napa, California. I love food markets and was so excited to find this place! There are many small booths with all sorts of foodstuffs, from bakeries and meat to seafood and fresh fruit. We visited several of the stands and noshed on everything from fresh oysters to buttery croissants to glasses of white Bordeaux to fresh strawberries topped with whipped cream. I was surprised at how friendly both the proprietors and the locals were. English wasn't widely spoken but we got along just fine. Seating is extremely limited, but we found a communal picnic table and shared it with some curious and affable residents. We didn't speak a lick of each others' languages but it didn't matter -- because a love of food is the international language!

Yelp
This food hall was very close to our hotel, the Renaissance Bordeaux, so we figured we would try it. We found it to be rather quiet on a Wednesday with several of the food booths closed and less people; we returned on Thursday and it was a bit busier. (Fridays and the weekends must be the days when it is the most lively?) There was a seafood stall that made "platters" and that was delicious! We also tried the empanadas and those were just ok. It seems like a casual place to meet friends after work. Most people only grabbed a beer and maybe a small snack and just hung out.

Yelp
A relatively new market. Doesn't feel lived in & historic like most markets in town centers. A mere shadow of the market of Capucins in town. This market has one of each thing: butcher, seafood, fresh produce. But each vendor had credible looking products. Prices are slightly higher than my experience of the Capucins market. Several restaurants inside. We bought 10 tapas at the Spanish kiosk. They were serviceable. Not outstanding by any means. 22 euros for ten items. The beer / wine bar is conveniently located adjacent. We dined at the high tables and chairs. Very boho, not comfortable. Biggest selling point for this market is the location across the road from the Cite du vin. I would expect that if I lived in Bordeaux I would never shop at this market.

Yelp
Fresh off the train, and not able to check into our rooms we decided to grab some food and check out the local food hall. Being a Sunday afternoon it was pretty busy, and finding seating for 6 was difficult but not impossible. We found some standing room area, and decided to scope out the options. They were almost overwhelming! Cheese, meat, seafood, several bars, a boulangerie and even pizza! We ended up trying 3 different wines, pizza, oysters, and a charcuterie board with several different duck items. Everything was delicious! The place was cool in general, and fun people watching. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone visiting for a relaxing afternoon meal.

Yelp
This place is a must visit! So many great vendors for eat in and take away. Amazing fish, cured meats, cheeses, wine, etc. What a gem, and so easy to access from other places in Bordeaux thanks to the tram. If you are visiting this should be on your list, even if you don't like crowds. We came in and tried some fresh oysters, amazing. Got some wine, delicious. Bought a bunch of cured meats and cheeses for our trip which was great. There are so many friendly vendors here with so much great food to try, it is a must stop. That being said, watch out for the young ones as the kids tend to run around like crazy and often times are on scooters.

Yelp
This market appears to be new and is located across from the Cite de Vin, the most amazing "Disneyland of Wine museum"! There is one or two vendors for each type of food offering, there is also a vegetarian vendor. All the food is high quality ingredients. We decided on an order of Pinxto, with 10 different types on one big plate for $22. Euro. They were each delicious. We tasted some very fresh and sweet melon from the produce vendor and all of her produce was the best quality. We were there in late afternoon, it was not very busy so I hope this market catches on with the locals and tourists. Granted this is not the huge market that you find in town with the much larger selections of fruits, veggies, cheeses, fish, meats etc, but for it's location it does have good food choices and is open late until 9:00 or 10:00 at night. East access to the Tram as well.

Yelp
Modelled after the bouqueria in Spain!. Opposite Cite du Vin, this is a great market hall with poisonnierie, fromagerie, boulangerie and even a vegan stall. Had a delicious ciabatta sandwich with cheese, pesto and sundried tomatoes which lasted till dinner. The Booster juice: apple- carrot- ginger was refreshing. A good place to hang out as evidenced by all the E&Y types and financiers having lunch. Bacalan is definitely an up and coming area of Bordeaux.

Yelp
The food is amazing! We had charcuterie/cheese plates, duck heart, pizzas, bao burger, chocolate mousse, lemondes and apple juice. Everything was fantastic. We highly recommend this place!
