The worst chicken I have ever tried. Not well cooked, the taste was horrible, overloaded with garlic. The service was awful. A young long hair guy tried to take our payment, for some reason he called an older gray hair man, to took the payment. He was extremely rude. I was with 2 friends he made us feel he just wanted to get rid of us. He almost broke my credit card on the way he swiped it. We didn’t have the chance to explain the food was not properly cooked. The seating area looks nice and we thought we will have a good meal, big mistake, huge. Inside the Asian cooking area there were flies on top of the food. And the cost of the food was overpriced for the bad quality and horrible service. We donate our money to this place, we just ate the tomatoes. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Beyond bad.

One of the best meals I have ever had. Even though my plate doesn’t seem so special, I have never tried this combination of tastes, which is divine, and the vegetables are so good, fresh or perfectly cooked! They have multiple choices, pizza of all sorts, salads, seafood, salmon, vegetables and fruits of all kinds, desserts, but everything seems to be out of the ordinary though, in terms of recipes and combinations, it’s all so tasteful! Absolutely love this place, the food, the terrace, the ambiance, the fact that it’s localized right next to Cathédrale la Major.

Not the cheapest eating option but the food is good with quality ingredients, the staff are friendly, there's plenty of choice, and theres lots of seating. Great lunch spot. Staff also speak English.

Certainly not cheap but great selection of varied options.. if it seems confusing - walk inside and get a number, walk around the various stations to order with said number and a server will bring your choices out to you, and take your drink order.. pay at the same counter that you received the number once you have finished.. The tartare plate was good but the pizza with anchovies was superlative - the red sauce was very delicious, no cheese required..!

Highly recommend! First of all, the staff was truly accommodating. We don't speak French, wish we knew more languages, but the staff who spoke some English were very helpful and kind! They really made our experience so enjoyable! This place is very unique, there is multiple stations inside. 1. They hand your party a number when you first walk in. 2. Then you go to each station: bar, seafood, charcuterie, burgers/sandwiches, Thai, dessert and order anything you would like and show your number. 3. Pick a table inside or outside and display your number. 4. Your drinks and food will be delivered to you. 5. Before you leave, show your number to the bar and pay. Each station provides their menu, prices and either pictures or plates on display. About a 20 minute walk from the Vieux point and definitely worth it! Get our of the tourist trap and experience the culture on locals of Marseille! Bonjour and merci <3

I have never seen such a fast service in Europe. The food is very tasty. The staff is super friendly. The price is okay.

Great place if you want to eat different foods: seafood, pizza, burgers, Asian, deserts and bar available. Fresh seafood, and super delicious pizza. We enjoyed our dinner very much. Also superb service, free water and just nice people working and ready to help. Thank you for the service, we went very happy.

Yelp
Our late lunch was at Les Halles de la Major, a covered gastronomic food market located in the vaults of Marseille's La Major Cathedral, which has been remodeled to a retail area. There are a bunch of food options inside the market and the best part? Your food gets brought to your table after you order! It's actually quite interesting, because the shop owner will bring you your food and then also offer water and bread for the table. Since we ordered from three different shops, they were all "fighting" to bring us water and bread! It was really cute and kind of funny at the same time. My sister opted for a juicy, rotisserie chicken. I had a delicious, tender burger while my mom went tapas style and had a bunch of pickled and cured veggies. We all really enjoyed our meal and were super full by the time we left. I really like this method of eating because we could try three different things without having to commit to one store or restaurant.

Yelp
Lots of different options in this food hall. Great for non-French speakers as you can see the options (example plates laid out). However, no signage for the process. When you go in, get a wooden number from the host stand. Then, go order whatever you would like - they will ask for your number. Take a seat outside, display your number, and food is brought to you. At the end, go back to the host stand, present your number, and pay your bill. We enjoyed a lovely plate of pad Thai!

Yelp
Since we don't speak French, this place was great as we were able to see what we could potentially eat - and pick it off the displays immediately, then pay for it all at the end of the meal. Enjoyed the ability to pick from a variety of different fresh food - including tuna tartare with amazing buffata and salad! Teenage sons enjoyed the speed, quantity and quality of food!
