Les Hauts de Saint Vincent - Bed and Breakfast with swimming pool

The property is located less than a 5 minute drive from the historic castle of Beynac and a 20 minute drive from Sarlat-La-Caneda. It is an excellent base for exploring the Dordogne with multiple small villages, chateaus, and castles within a 30 minute drive. Many archaeological sites featuring cave paintings are less than an hour away. A beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse with very clean rooms, modern bathrooms, enjoyable common areas, a heated swimming pool, and carefully maintained grounds makes for a relaxed and comfortable stay. But the best thing about this property are the proprietors. Fabrice owns and pilots hot air balloons with the flights launching from the field behind the property. Stephanie is a fantastic hostess. As is to be expected, she is gracious and the comfort of her guests is the top priority. What was impressive is how she went above and beyond when I was having trouble with the shipping company that the airline used to send us our “delayed” luggage. She took it upon herself to handle the phone calls, spending quite a bit of time on the phone with customer service and handling emails with the company over the three days it took to resolve this issue. Finally, she refused my attempts to leave a tip or to compensate for the time she spent on this issue. We will not forget her kindness and generosity.

Attention to every detail. Beautiful hand-picked furniture and amenities. Stephanie and her Ballon Soaring husband are perfect hosts.

We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend! Stephanie and Fabrice are wonderful hosts. The house has been renovated to a really high standard and the rooms are themed, spacious and charming. Lovely pool, outstanding views from the house. Stephanie cooked a tasty meal one evening, and we took a hot air balloon ride with Fabrice, from their garden! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Les Hauts de Saint Vincent is a beautiful B&B that combines the charm and comfort of a country farmhouse with the chic decor of a house you’d expect to find in Paris. Our bedroom was spacious and the bathroom large and sparkling clean, and with really lovely hand soap. The hosts, Stephanie and Fabrice are gracious and helpful, offering great advice about local restaurants and things to do and see. Breakfasts were delicious—Stephanie makes her own yogurt and jams, and she also offers delicious dinners several nights a week. Everything at Les Hauts worked together, making for a great experience. Even the views were exceptional. We feel very lucky to have found such a special place to stay in the Dordogne.

This B&B was recommended and it did not disappoint. Stephanie and Fabrice are lovely hosts and the accommodation was homely and of a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend the hot air balloon ride which take off from their garden.||It is a great place to stay and explore/enjoy the Dordogne region. We would definitely go back.

We spent a week here on holiday with our toddler. Stephanie and Fabrice are phenomenal hosts. The room was sparkling clean and so comfortable! The breakfasts are so delicious. The location is super central and we found it was easy to get to all the major sights. My husband and I both left rested and very happy. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

What an incredible find! We stayed for 3 nights whilst exploring the beautiful Perigord. This B&B has it all - from stunning rooms, comfy beds, gorgeous pool, delicious meals and perfect French hospitality. Be sure to check out the secret swim spots in the area and the absolute highlight, a sunrise hot air balloon ride across the valley. Can’t wait to visit again. This B&B is wonderful, a perfect place to stay. The owners were amazing, and the home was warm, comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was nice, plus, they serve a delicious dinner several nights per week. We loved the location as a base to explore the region, and if you're interested, they offer balloon flights! We plan to return, and stay longer! The views from here were awesome as well.
