Les Hibiscus

Had an excellent stay in Les Hibiscus. The guest house in located in White Town, within walking distance of all the popular cafes and restaurants. The guest house is a heritage building and is decorated with vintage furniture, pictures and other decorative items. The room was very spacious. Breakfast was very generous with fruits, juice, curd, breads, croissants, omelette and coffee. The owner, Mr Bascarane, was very gracious and we had a nice time chatting with him.

We had the best time at this lovely hotel in the French quarter of Pondicherry. The rooms were large, clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were very substantial and beautifully presented by two lovely ladies. I can’t speak more highly of the owner, Bascarane, who went the extra mile helping us find our way around India and arranging things for us locally. Highly recommended in every way. You will not be disappointed.

Les Hibiscus is our top choice whenever we visit Pondicherry ! The staff is welcoming, and the rooms are comfortable, making us feel truly at home. Every morning, they serve a delicious, fresh, homemade breakfast that’s hard to beat. It’s an authentic place that doesn’t feel like just another hotel – 100% recommended for anyone seeking a genuine stay in Pondicherry!

Had an absolute wonderful time at the well located Les Hibiscus. Rooms are big and very well equipped. Staff is professional and always there, and the owner Bascarane is the kindest most helpful person you’ll ever meet. Wish there was a place like this in every city in the world

An old building has been renovated and converted into a homestay with plenty big rooms and clean washrooms. The homestay is full of antique showpieces. I would recommend this homestay to people travelling to Pondicherry. If you have old parent travelling with you, ensure to book the ground floor. Do not expect top notch service here. Complementary Breakfast comprised of Fruits, Curd,One Croissant(Not repeatable), Idli/Dosa with Chutney, Breads, Omlette/Sunny side up, Juices, Tea/Coffee. Located in a beautiful street and walkable to the Promenade beach and MG road as well, the location is prime.

The most beautiful family owned hotel, very close to restaurants, Ashram, the beach. Super helpful and the room was great
