Would I stay here again? No. Absolutely not for $800+ for TWO nights. Let me explain.
The apartment entrance rug was visibly filthy (see photo), thus creating a bad first impression. I asked it be cleaned and it never was. It remained filthy throughout our stay.
The apartment is smaller than it appears in the official photos. There were very few hangers in the bedrooms with no closet, drawers, dresser or furnishings where to store items or surfaces where one can place personal items. No chairs in either bedroom; suitcases had to be opened & placed on the floor. I’ve never encountered such a sparsely furnished rental unit.
I did like the dining room table & chairs (moved two into the bedrooms) and the sofa was comfortable and large (as was the TV).
The kitchen has no coffee, even to start. The fridge is huge but completely empty. And if one is staying two or three nights, you need to bring your own coffee, creamer, filters & sugar. Bring EVERYTHING you may need in the kitchen & bath…everything; nothing is provided. I’d suggest management consider providing coffee, bottled water, sugar…the basics that one would find at any luxury lodging. It’s bare.
In the bath only very small soap mini bars are provided and equally minuscule shampoo packets. I had to ask for more as only two of each were provided & we were three adults staying two nights.
There is washer & dryer; no detergent or softener sheets are provided. Bring those too.
Positive? The location is excellent but balancing that with the negatives, the location alone is not enough to be worth the hefty cost. I’ll find an alternative property or hotel for my next visit to beautiful Quebec City. I paid $800+ for two nights and expected a better equipped apartment that was clean.
Look elsewhere.
