We just checked out and we were VERY disappointed . This is NOT a 5 star accommodation which is how they advertise on their website and certainly not worth over $500 a night , which is what we paid. |1.Apartment, not hotel: this was not indicated in description. Absolutely no service that is even close to a hotel, much less a 5 star.|2.No instructions on how to check in. |3.Difficult to find & only way we knew is because we asked at a local restaurant: took us 1 hour to find location & to figure out how to enter. |4.Couple at restaurant downstairs, gave us the key & said don’t expect Hotel service , they were unable to help us with any issues.|5.Breakfast ridiculous for 5 star & price paid: 2 croissants, small baguette, 1 stick powdered cocoa, 2 small honey jars, 1 small oj: not even butter.|6.dirt in bathroom, shower|7.5 star implies service: ; no service here.|8.Stained sheets, stained ironing table, useless coffee maker/not working for 4 days, even after I complained. | 9 Texted & emailed  with issues. response next day| 10 If there is an emergency after hours, or you loose your key, what is the option that guests have ? No instructions , no directions, no one who can help. |Priced as 5 star, with no service.|False advertising, complete lie, scam. |This is a 2 star Air B & B , certainly not 5 star as they advertise. I plan to report them /owners to the French tourism administration because it really is not fair. (See pic)

Beware of the scam ! Deep disappointment for my friend and I. The experience was far from up to the standards of such a rating, especially for the rate paid for one night 265 EUR. As soon as I arrived in the room, I noticed a number of problems that were particularly disappointing and unacceptable for a hotel of this category (photos attached): A visible stain on the comforter cover; the presence of hair on the fitted sheet, a clear sign of poor hygiene; a layer of dust on the base of the hairdryer in the bathroom; an unstuck skirting board and another damaged by damp, revealing an obvious lack of maintenance; the shower head was detached from the wall, making it unsafe to use. What's more, some of the services advertised were once again not up to the standard of a so-called top-of-the-range hotel. For example, the “all-you-can-eat tea” offer was limited to a few bags of a single type (Earl Grey Twinings), with no other choice on offer, no herbal tea, no kettle (easier to use than a microwave), which is far from a service worthy of a luxury establishment. Not to mention the security measures: only an elevator with a code gives access to the rooms, with no fire escape. Except the location in the old city of Annecy, and the breakfast in a basket, we were extremely disappointed, won't come back for sure, or recommend it to anyone.

Holy wow! We haven’t been treated and fed this well in forever. So amazing. We are and drank all the courses and even stayed in the hotel. Great idea. The hotel was incredible as well. Love love loved it

Les Loges Annecy has a lot going for it: fantastic location right in the heart of Annecy’s old town, charming accommodations, and thoughtful room amenities. That said, the first impression—or lack thereof—was a bit rocky. We arrived about 30 minutes before check-in and were completely fine with waiting. The real issue was figuring out how to actually check in. There was little to no instruction on accessing our room, and the hotel isn’t marked clearly from the street. It turns out the property is managed by an Austrian couple who run the tiny café next door. Strangely, when we arrived (along with another family), they watched us fumble with confusion about where to go or who to talk to—while acting like they had no clue either. After several awkward minutes, the man next door (who we jokingly now call “the gatekeeper”) finally broke character and asked what we were doing. He helped the other family into the hotel and left us still outside wondering what was going on, speaking only in French. Another 15–20 minutes passed before he returned to help us too. Once inside, things did improve significantly. He gave us a thorough walkthrough of the room’s features, including how to use the appliances, fireplace, and steam bath—which we appreciated. The room was stylish and well-appointed with a kitchenette, plush bed and pillows, bathrobes, and a fireplace. It overlooked the street, which gave it character but also meant noticeable street noise, especially since we couldn’t figure out how to use the AC and had to leave the window open. It finally quieted down around 1 AM. One small letdown: our Expedia booking mentioned a complimentary bottle of spirits, but when I asked, the host claimed they don’t offer that and said it was an issue to take up with Expedia—not very helpful. Despite the odd start, our stay was enjoyable overall. The hotel is beautiful, the location unbeatable, and the in-room amenities are impressive. If the check-in process were clearer and a bit more hospitable, this would easily be a 5-star experience.

We rented a one bedroom apartment, and it was by far one of the most cozy and comfortable places we have. Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome with some great recommendations of where to go and do in the area. We had a nice, well decorated living room, the kitchen was small but very practical. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is well equipped even with bathrobes. Abundance breakfast in the morning delivered in our room. Overall, it was a wonderful experience in this hotel.

As I see from the reviews it’s not only me who has the problem entering the property. We agreed on a time, no one was there. I called, they told to wait 5-10 mins.. I waited more.. for nothing. Arrogant call center - just dropping the phone

Google
their dishonesty. we followed all instructions by informing them as soon as booked of our late check in. even the email confirmation says “ If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.” despite informing them of our late check in they proceeded to cancel our booking, leaving us at 8pm to find alternative accommodation on a cold, wet night in the alps, and without having the decency to refund us. i wonder how much money they make cancelling guests without a refund. Very poor customer service (non existent no reply to tens of emails, messages and phone calls)

This place has prime location once you get over the complication of accessing it as it is in a pedestrian only zone with only authorised vehicles able to access it. A big shout out to Sylvie and Peter the owners of the café underneath. These guys are gems and so helpful! Without these guys I would not have stayed there
