I’ve Lived in France for 10+ Years—Here Are 11 Hidden Gems in Paris You Won't Find in Guidebooks

"The first hint of spring sun and I’m down on this péniche on the Seine overlooking Île Saint-Louis, a weekends-only (May to October) apéro ritual where I order freshly shucked oysters and prawns from the waterfront stand before settling at the picnic tables that spill along the terrace on the quay." - Lane Nieset Lane Nieset Lane Nieset is a travel writer from Miami who has lived in France for the past decade. 7 Must-Visit Floating Bars Around the World - AFAR

"Right beside the Pont Marie with one side facing Île de la Cité and the other a poplar-shaded pedestrian path, the Rive Droite outpost is mostly open-air in warm weather and enclosed and heated in winter, open year-round, and serves pretty much anything you want to drink alongside shareable plates like oysters, burrata and cod fritters." - Sophie Friedman

15 Best Things to Do in Paris With Kids | Condé Nast Traveler

"If you sit at Les Maquereaux's bar facing Île Saint-Louis, you can’t get closer to being in the heart of Paris. What sets the restaurant apart, though, is its placement: set in a moored houseboat on the Right Bank of the Seine, there are 12-person mini-boats that pick up diners and zips them to where it's stationed. Starting at €45 per head, the intimate rides can last anywhere between 45 minutes and three hours. And unlike some of Paris' other fine dining establishments, it's also a dinner you won't dread bringing the kids along for. They can scoot about on the wide, traffic-free terrace; nearby climbing walls and playgrounds are another plus." - Daisy de Plume

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, located next to the Seine River. The oysters are fresh and delicious. You shouldn't miss coming here.

A Unique Dining Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 📍 Location: Difficult to find a place, but worth the hunt! 📅 Reservations: Unfortunately, they don't accept reservations, so be prepared to wait. 🍽️ Portion Size: The food portions are quite small, which may not be ideal for hearty eaters. 💰 Price: On the higher side for the size of the portions served. 🎉 Atmosphere: Despite the small space and close seating arrangement, the atmosphere is charming and cozy, perfect for an intimate gathering. Overall, Les Maquereaux Rive Droite offers a unique dining experience with its fantastic atmosphere and delicious cuisine. Just be ready for the challenges of finding a spot, waiting for a table, and the smaller portion sizes. If you value ambiance and intimate surroundings, this is the place for you!

Super location and the food was fantastic! Perfect service, plenty and pure seafood. We were there with a group of 90 people for a business lunch. Wonderful!

Excellent location, atmosphere, and food We tried the chicken 🐔 burger 🍔 and the seashells 🐚 both were excellent and the amount is perfect 🤩 You place your order and come collect it within 15 minutes when it’s ready, the place is worth a visit always! Service is rated 5 because I had more than I could carry by two hands so the guys offered to help and came with me to the table! Very helpful!

We had an excellent reception for over 100 people organised on-board the péniche. Great service, varied tasty food and nice drinks. Highly recommend it!

Google
Great location (like most places around there) but expensive... I got some fish & chips and the fish was just breaded and over cooked. They give a tiny cup of sauce. The guy at the register where you order wasn’t paying attention to anything we were saying. His colleague way in the back was answering us because he saw we weren’t getting any responses.... drinks are pricy as well. They should put a protection between the boat and the side of the dock. There’s a big gap, and if u fall it’s not even in the water it’s on some boat metal parts. So you could really hurt yourself pretty badly.
