Les Pieds dans le Plat

I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Les Pieds dans le Plat, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed yet refined dining experience. The menu was creative and showcased the chef’s passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every dish was beautifully presented, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The service was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

A typical traditional french restaurant. The food is good. Personally, I enjoyed the bruschetta! Also, the plateau with the starters is a good idea to taste a bit of almost everything. Good choice for some traditional dishes.

Food was great! Snails were tasty, dip up the sauce with your bread. The shrimp risotto was flavourful (again, dip up the sauce with bread) Staff were nice and spoke English. Great atmosphere on the street outside at night.

Great staff! Very interesting plates. We tried the big plates of sea food and meat! A really nice selection of specialities so you can taste almost everything this lovely restaurant has to offer! Don't forget to try also escargots in the entreés!!!

Probably the best meal we’ve had in Nantes. Monkfish stew was amazing & warming. Tuna & beaf steaks were impeccable! Service is fast. Very attentive & enthusiastic staff. Fantastic place!

I just had the best Salmon in my life.(and I am from a coastal city) It's so tender and moist, cooked to perfection. The sauce is flavourful but not overwhelming. The cod fish ceviche was also to die for, with avocado cream & spicy tomato sauce. Dessert was a strawberry & raspberry ”soup” ropes with pistachio mousse. Highly recommend this restaurant in #nantes. The service was also very great and friendly (in both French and English) we went back for dinner twice in a row. We are really happy that our hotel concierge recommended this place.

Was very impressed with food. We took snails. They were amazing. And took calamari in carbonara sauce. They were amazing. And as well crème brûlée was very tasty. Staff is very nice and friendly. Highly recommended to visit this place.

Reasonable price (15e for a lunch course) with amazing quality and taste! Nice staff and fast service as well. I would definitely go there again! It was a very nice lunch :)

Fun story on this one. We were personally escorted to this restaurant after a fun exchange at the hotel. We were seated upstairs. This is a beautiful building and interior with all of the interesting qualities I love about restaurants in France. This is the type of place that others attempt to reproduce with facades but here... these bricks were real. We had a wonderful seafood dinner in a cozy setting which slowly filled up as our dining experience unfolded. I would go here again without hesitation. Delightful meal and experience.
