Les Suites Hotel Taipei Da’an

A very nice hotel in the downtown of Taipei. Rooms were spacious and clean. Overall a very comfortable stay. Only point for consideration is - They should add more breakfast options, especially for Foreign guests. It was mostly local food in the menu, which was sometimes not suited for others.

First visit to Taiwan. Located in the centre of Taipei. Very easy commute to get here from the airport, short walk from the closest train station. The room was perfect, couldn't fault it. Large size, comfortable bed, amenities, great bathroom. Clean and Modern. The service from the whole staff, receptionists, cleaners, everyone was impeccable. Great choice of dishes for breakfast, which all tasted gorgeous. They have a happy hour with free drinks, only took advantage of it once on our stay but it was a nice relaxed atmosphere with a good choice of drinks. I would highly recommend a start here if you're visiting Taipei.

Clean, comfortable & great staff. I really enjoyed my stay at Les Suites Hotel. My partner & I stayed at Les Suites for 5 nights. Our bed was comfy, the room & bathroom were really clean and there's a really charming area to sit and have breakfast - thoughtful place settings and fresh flowers every day :) Staff were really friendly, professional and also very helpful, making both dinner reservations and an appointment for me at a fabulous nail salon which was within walking distance.

We spent a very comfortable 4 nights at this elegant hotel, a 5 min walk from the Zhongxiao Fuxing metro station on the blue line and a little further from the Da’an metro station on the red line. This made it very convenient for Taipei Main Station, the Sogo department store, and Taipei 101 and other tourist attractions.||The hotel has old-world charm and our double room was well equipped and included a combined toilet and bidet (a first for us). Breakfast was buffet style, plentiful and included a fusion of Asian and Western food, all very elegantly presented. What made this hotel special for us was the helpful and friendly staff, the comfortable guest lounge (with tea and coffee on tap and books to peruse), and the newly introduced wine, beer and snacks happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm every evening. We hope the hotel continues with this welcome and welcoming innovation.

We really wanted to love this hotel. We read the reviews which supplement a book recommendation we had seen. The location is terrific and the staff very attentive, but the hotel has seen better days and needs some investment. I suspect the hotel has experienced some water damage as there was a smell of damp throughout. There were UV machines on each floor, which I suspect was an attempt to address the smell. There is also construction happening next door. While the hotel cannot control that and there was little noise, it did not allow us to open our curtain due to the construction workers outside. It made for a very dark and enclosed experience. My advice would be to inspect your room before booking if possible. I would also advise against prepaying for your accomodation in case you want to leave after the first night. None of this reflects on the staff who were wonderful.

The location isn't too bad, a decent walking distance to Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT Station. Our room wasn't ideal in terms of the rate we paid. We were assigned an inner room without windows (windows were covered). It was fine for a one-night stay but not for two nights or more.

Very kind and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Can’t fault them on anything.Room is clean and housekeeping has been doing a great job every night. Plenty of free water and snacks every day.

Very clean hotel, nice staff, cozy home-like place. Service is great, and the location is very central and convenient. The Da'an district is a more high-end area, causing it to be more calm and green. Great facilities around.

Our experience here was mixed. We found nothing outstanding, and lots of room for improvements. Pros: Daily fresh fruits in room. Water pressure and water flow in shower is super. Staff try to please customers. Happy hour 5-7pm. Cons: 1. Insufficient lightings throughout the property. Very dark elevator and hallways. Room is dim even when all lights are turned to the max. Bathroom overhead lighting is insufficient for seeing your own face - especially for ladies to put on makeups. 2. Despite great water pressure and flow, the shower head is very old style. It uses a lot of water while not giving comfortable spray. It's more like hosed by a garden hose. 3. Breakfast staff, although working hard, are not well trained for restaurant services. When food items, plates or utensils run out, they don't seem to refill until after a long time. It was hard to get their attention when we had questions or needs. When we told the staff that the coffee machine was only spitting out light yellow colored water, nothing happened. 4. Happy hour food items looked very nice, but the taste was otherwise. 5. Front desk courtesy could be better. I strongly recommend professional hospitality trainings for the entire staff if they want to be inline with international hotels. 6. Room temperature is set by hotel. Guests can not control it. Our room got so warm. We asked the front desk how to get the room cooler. They told us there's nothing they can do. 7. Breakfast tables and chairs are designed for short and small people only. It is obvious that normal or taller people are uncomfortable there.

I had friends who chose Les Suites because they were travelling with their under 2 year old kids and wanted to be able to pop the kids in the travel cots in a separate space. It was essentially a large room, with a sliding door that could be closed between the living area and the area with the double bed. The hotel did provide cots, but my friends opted to use their own. Pros: The staff were really nice with the kids. A couple of them had babies of a similar age at home so they were very understanding. Great location, just down the road from the Zhongxiao shopping area. Cons: The room had no outside light. If this would bother you make sure you're clear about it when you book. T The breakfast dining seating is limited, so my friends were advised to call down first to check if there would be a free table for them. All in all a good experience, and fine for a couple of days, but not really set up for kids. More of a business or adult traveller hotel.

My favorite Hotel in Tai Pei City. The rooms are clean and the beds are of good quality. The staff is very supportive and friendly. The only thing that could be better arranged is the breakfast. For me, as a European the chairs are a little too low and I always need three turns to get coffee, toast , fruit and scrambled eggs. The choice of breakfast content is good, suitable for international customers.

Les Suites is a great hotel, small, clean, and with friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. In fact the staff is by far the best of any hotel I have ever stayed. The Da an area is also a terrific central location, with lots of very good restaurants near by, MRT stations and shopping. The rooms are nice, comfortable beds, nicely appointed and clean. The only thing that could be improved is the lighting, which is a bit darker then I would like. The breakfast is also very good.
