It was truly great to have breakfast buffet and afternoon happy hour provided by the hotel during our stay. It saves us the hassle of going out for dinner if we do not want to. All the hotel staff were very friendly and gave excellent customer service. Hotel is also conveniently located next to a MRT station which makes it very easy to take public transport. The hotel also had a string quartet performed in the hotel during X'mas day and guest could enjoy the wonderful performance while enjoying happy hour.

Lovely boutique stay with character, but some practical gaps Les Suites Taipei is a charming boutique hotel with a warm, intimate feel, almost like staying in a friend’s oriental-themed mansion. The furnishings are cozy and tastefully done, with lovely oriental touches and parquet flooring in the rooms. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. That said, the lighting is a major drawback, especially for women. The room lighting is very dim and not practical, putting on makeup was difficult due to the lack of proper, well-placed lighting. This is something that could be easily improved and would make a big difference to the guest experience. Housekeeping did a good job keeping the room clean, and the bathroom amenities were thoughtful, including items like plasters and dental floss, which were appreciated. There is some confusion around the complimentary beverages. This should be clarified more clearly on the reservation portal or booking platforms. Complimentary beverages are only available during cocktail hour from 5pm to 7pm daily. Outside of this window, water, tea, and the coffee machine are available throughout the day. Hors d’oeuvres are served during cocktail hours — decent but nothing extraordinary. It would be helpful if food labels were provided, and warmers used, as most items (including breakfast) were served at room temperature when they are typically expected to be hot. At times, it was also unclear what certain dishes were. Staff were generally good and helpful, with a special mention to Shawn, who stood out for his service and friendliness. Good location. Overall, a pleasant stay with strong character and service, but improvements in lighting, food presentation, and clarity of inclusions would elevate the experience significantly.

I’ll start off by saying that it was a wonderful stay that was fully worth the price and you will not find value for money like this at any other hotel in Taipei. The rooms in the hotel are thoughtfully crafted so you’ll want for nothing when you stay, from the amenities to the layout of the rooms themselves. The beds are also comfortable and we slept well even with the jet lag (we are from the US). On top of that, the hotel has free breakfast and happy hour at 5pm. Though I’d say the best part of the trip was honestly the staff. Alex and Kyoko were phenomenal- Wonderful and so attentive to our wants and needs. We didn’t want to leave on our last day! My fiance and I had a 5 day booking at Les suites and the location was also hard to beat. Hotel was also extremely clean and impeccable lobby and sitting area. Very central and close to train station for day trips.

Great location a few steps to the Nanjing/Fuxing stop on MRT which easily connects you to all the MRT lines. Very nice spread at the breakfast buffet. Friendly check-in and staff. Rooms are pretty spacious with strong water pressure in the shower. Definitely recommend this hotel while in Taipei.

Les Suites Taipei Ching-Cheng Oct 19,20,21. 2025. Room 615. Standard double room. Rather small room, very modern, very clean. Hard wood floor. A bit dark. Coffee capsule machine in the room. Fresh fruits on the day of your arrival. Flawless friendly check-in. From 5 to 7 pm happy hour. Free food and drinks - soft drinks, wine, beer. Excellent food, nicely presented and extremely tasteful. Attentive service by experienced and knowledgeable personnel. Good wines. Fresh flowers on your table. Breakfast is another feast for the eyes and the palate. A 6-30 AM breakfast would accommodate a lot of guesses. Few working AC outlets. A bit pricey during the weekends. A comfortable bed hugging the wall on one side makes it difficult to get up and could be dangerous especially at night. Shower pressure and WIFI both were great. Wonderful stay. Special thanks to the dining room staff – breakfast and happy hour - for splendid food and service.

Google
Brilliant. I felt in love with this hotel. Big comfortable room, absolutely good pillows and bed. Staff friendly and smart, rich breakfast and tea time self help- with local food! Location is excellent too. And they have a pharmacy around the corner, which was open even on Sunday! And what is very important - they have plenty lounge space, and tea-coffee all the time. And a nice quiet music plays all day. Very inventive management. Thank you ❤️

Having travel to many countries, stayed in ranges of 5 stars plus or 2 stars hotels, I find this one is a very good deal for its overall quality and price (not sure if it was a special package/promotion one). When hotels are quite over priced in Taipei, I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Nice decor (retro style and cozy), good room size, polite staff, quite delicious food (breakfast and tea time) and great location. Yes, it does feel slightly oldish (been there 20+ years I think), surely some refurbishment is better. One additional recommendation would be: staff should also be able to provide some knowledge about where and what to eat to recommend 1st time visitors instead of just tell the guest to go across the street as there’s plenty of options.

Yelp
Very nice accommodations with free breakfast included which is very convenient to start each day. It's in the heart of the city, but well insulated and don't hear any traffic noises. Very impressed and customer service is superb!

Yelp
I want to think I'm more than qualified to give reviews of Les Suites Ching Cheng. I stayed here three times in a year and I'm about to be back for the fourth time next month. Quarantine is never anyone's favorite thing to do when traveling, but Les Suites has made it so much less painful and almost tolerable and pleasant for me. Staff, from front desk to door front service (no room cleaning during quarantine) are very professional and caring. They catered meals for my special diets and made efforts to plan my meals and needs everyday. They went far and beyond picked up dinner for me because no delivery service available from one of the special vegetarian restaurants. The space of superior room is good. I can do my work out, stretching no problem. Cleanness and room amenities are good. Again, I can't believe I say this, I have and will spend total 60 days in a hotel room in one year, but with the help of all staff, I almost want to think it's a little get away for me each time I am in Taipei.

Yelp
Never been disappointed here - have always stayed here whenever visiting Taipei. What I appreciate is how much efforts they put into details, like the attentive staff, welcoming snacks & fruits, and the elegantly placed room facilities. The complimentary breakfast offers an array of delicious Japanese, Chinese and western cuisines. The staff is attentive in a way that they will know how to address your name correctly, which is something you don't normally experience with the same price at 5-star internationally chain hotels. The down side is if you don't know the city well, it will be hard to get taxi drivers to find this charming place. One trick - tell the driver 'Go to Qing Cheng Jie near the old McDonald' will get you there.

Yelp
Les Suites Taipei was quite a nice surprise in the heart of Taipei. Conveniently located next to the Nanking/Fuxing MRT station and just a hairs throw from Nanking Road, the hotel offers all the refinements of a major hotel in a boutique hotel package. The rooms were big with a nice king sized bed, a desk for working, a seating area with a couch and a tub and walk in shower. The bathroom is equipped with the Toto Japanese toilets, so that's a nice perk. There's not much of a view, but that's expected from a city center location. In the lobby and just around the corner from the front desk is the dining lounge where a complimentary Eastern/Western breakfast is served daily. Along with fresh baked bread and fresh squeezed juices. Just outside the lounge area is a garden with a water feature where one can have breakfast when the weather is nice. For the breakfast, you also have the option to order off a menu which is a nice addition. During the days snacks are served in the lounge and in the evenings there is wine and spirits available. What sets this place apart from the Hyatts and Marriotts of the world is the service. The service was top notch. We had a couple of questions that they weren't able to answer upon check-in, but the very next morning they did find the answer for us and reminded us that we asked the question. The hotel's keycard for entrance also doubles as an Easy Card for the MRT which allows you access to the subway system. You just have to pay the balance upon check out. Also, the hotel provides a portable WiFi router for free with password protection, so that's one item you don't have to get. We really enjoyed the service and especially the breakfast and upon our departure they arranged for a taxi to take us to TPE and gave us the serial number of the driver in case any funny business happened. Now, this isn't a discount hotel by any means, but for the level of service provided it's well worth the money.

Yelp
Prompt and courteous service. Close to transportation. Great breakfast, especially the freshly baked bread. Clean and spacious rooms. I would definitely return and recommend. 5 star for sure.

Yelp
I heard a lot about the Les Suite hotels in Taipei but never stayed in one until a recent work trip. I don't like where the hotel is situated in the location I stayed in and it's difficult for Taxis to know how to get to unless they input the address in the GPS. The hotel is extremely dim lighted which I hate. Rooms are a mix of modern and old but the rooms are spacious and I had a big bathroom. I had a corner room which is bigger than the norm.not entirely bad but there are better hotels in Taipei in terms of convenience and quality.
