To sum it up, it was ok. I've stayed in better 5 star hotels and I and in worse ones as well at the same price.
We stayed in a Studio room and the rooms were quite cramped, especially if you have two big suitcases. We had to keep one on the sofa most of the time due to limited space.
The view from our bathroom was amazing and was quite special to see every time we took a shower.
There were a lot amenities in the room, but I did notice that some of the use of technology wasn't needed or wasn't programmed correctly. For example, there was a large remote next to the bed which controlled everything from the lighting, blinds and air conditioning, to the TV and radio. But a lot of the buttons weren't programmed correctly and sometimes turned off the lights when you wanted to lower the temperature!
Although breakfast was included in our room rate, we never made it down in time so can't comment on that.
But we did get to make use of their happy hour, where between certain hours of the evening, the game out complimentary drinks which was nice.
All in all, a well located hotel on the Bund, slightly let down by cramped rooms, and outdated decor/technology.
