The photo may not look the best but the food was lovely. Ordered a tartine that was priced very reasonably. Tartine had chive creme fraiche with roasted sliced potatoes and melted raclette cheese, all topped with a generously huge slice of prosciutto. Simple ingredients but a fulfilling combination. Service was attentive despite me being a tourist. I felt included and noticed. Atmosphere had quite a few flies buzzing around and pigeons walking here and there. This was not my preference but most people don’t seem to mind.

Scrumptious lunch in the heart of Uzes - generous tasty portions - friendly staff

I got the goats cheese open sandwich and added truffle honey. Also the trio of the sea tapas as a side. The goats cheese was delicious and the tapas was a great addition to have with some bread on the side. Their red sangria was perfect however I personally wasnt a big fan of the lime rose cocktail drink. The atmosphere was nice with lots of locals and the prices for everything was very reasonable.

Super chill spot in the main square under some umbrellas and surrounded by castle walls. Service was great and they had a nice local IPA. The banana bread pudding and eggplant dip was really great.

I could have stayed all day and night. It was a charming dream. I loved the food and the food loved me back. The staff were so warm I think of them and miss them like old friends.

I had a hot dog which was very good with onions. I ordered French fries which were very tasty but in tiny pieces for some reason. My husband had steak tartar which he loved. The restaurant is on the Place des Herbes in front of the fountain. Good service and xcellent location

Beautiful restaurant with great tartar and a variety of toasts with local ingredients. The Cafe Gourmand is delicious. The outdoor seats are charming and the kitchen is non-stop, so it’s a great option after 2pm, where most other places don’t serve food anymore.

Great local cafe in the center of Place des Herbs with a charitable and community purpose. Enjoyed a Salmon Tartar board and dessert on the terrace. Inside dining also has a a shop featuring local wines and foods. Great service from the team, very personable owner Tom speaks English and helps interpret the menu.

Yelp
Wonderful sitting inside or outside... on main plaza with wonderful service and one of those menus with something for any mood. The food was fresh and well prepared. Loved the sardines and anchovies, the lentil salad was a treat but also ideal for just coffee and wine... inside is nicely selected treats and wines including locally roasted ground coffee.

Yelp
This bistro in la Place aux Herbes serves and sells products from the region - wine, olives and olive oil, pâté, foie gras, duck confit, tapenade, sweet and savoury preserves and even a selection of artisanal pastis. The owner tells us that his is the sunniest terrasse in town and so we sit outside. They have a wonderful concept for selling wine called by the Ficelle. You get a whole bottle, but only pay for what you drink. We drank the whole thing. With the wine they serve a small dish of tapenade. I think it was the best I have ever tasted. I started with a small squash soup for a healthy introduction to the meal and followed it with foie gras au pain d'épice. I thought I was going to get foie gras with gingerbread toasts, but no, the gingerbread is incorporated into the foie gras and it was absolutely decadently delicious. (Just a note that pain d'épice is actually bread and not a gingerbread cookie.) The salad is just fresh lettuce with oil and balsamic vinegar, but the lettuce is so fresh that it looks like they brought it directly from the garden to the plate. My wife had an excellent quiche with duck confit and mushrooms. In addition to delicious food, the ambiance was also delightful with huge welcomes for the locals and a bit of a festive atmosphere as guests enjoyed the early spring sunshine.

Yelp
Terroirs-Uzes is more of a bar than restaurant. It does not have French Bar BQ. It serves raw meat, if you like that kind of thing. But the gift shop is great! The bar has great sangria. It's stronger than US sangria so please have a designated driver. The atmosphere is original French. And the staff is multi-lingual. All in all, it's a great place for drinks, as for food, not so much....

Yelp
The Terroir is the best place for lunch or a light meal. It is certainly NOT a BBQ place. Rather it offers light fare: salads, open sandwiches and tapas. Desserts are good too. The service is friendly including the owners who are always willing to recommend the best wine for the occasion. It is very popular and often full so in the summer reservations are highly recommended!
